My very first stay at a MotelOne - definitely my last, too. I am a disabled person who needs an assistance dog. I had a business travel with various other members of my team staying at the same hotel. At my arrival there was a “higly-motivated” receptionist. There were some problems with my bookings (can happen) that she doesn’t even wanted to solve. Instead they let me there at the hall with all my stuff dog and medicine. They had no interest at all and it seems that they even did not care if I get in serious health problems soon… and I told them. Although there was a credit card from my company, as well as an already paid room from one of my colleagues - they expected an immediate payment. (I was asking if I just can put my stuff in the room, take my medicine and we will fix the situation later when my team members arrive to avoid a collapse due to my disease) - that was no solution for them so that I finally ended this conversation with picking money from my sons bank account (The worst thing a mother could do to their kids.) just to avoid a collapse in the entrance hall. At breakfast I have had the worst situation ever. As I had a temblor at the buffet, since they didn’t allow my assistance dog to assist me, and the waiter asked me to leave the buffet, because “people may be afraid of my disability” - OKAY - this never happens to me. What kind of policy you have at Motel One? Disabled people stay outta here??? Finally after this discrimination (and due to a changed time schedule) I wanted to cancel my last night. So I went down to the reception asked for cancellation. Unfortunately it is not possible to cancel the room after 3 o clock. - Okay I totally understand that - it was 8 minutes past three !!! And my room was already empty… So if you like to support disabled people I recommend you NOT to stay at Motel One. Our team decided to avoid them on future trips.

Nice hotel, clean facilities and great location: it is close to all main attractions (you can go by foot) and close to the metro line to go to Atomium and Mini-Europe. The only drawback we notice: the rooms have simple windows: they don’t isolate all the noise from outside and people on the street can see inside the room: there is a curtain but still. The reception is open 24/7 and they keep your luggage if you arrive early. The staff is super nice and all speak English. The bar has a nice atmosphere but we didn’t actually drink there.

I stayed in the Motel One in Brussels during the first weekend of February 2024. And guys: it was awesome! The staff was so incredibly nice, the room was impeccable and the hotel is perfectly located in the center of Brussels. You can also park your car underneath the hotel (25 or 28 Euros / day). I cannot rate the breakfast because I booked without breakfast. Thank you Motel One: I will definitely come again!

This hotel exceeds my expectations with excellent soundproofing, refreshing shower water pressure, and a spotlessly comfortable bed. Conveniently located within walking distance of the train station and major attractions, its sleek lobby and room design enhance the overall experience.

Stayed here for a solo trip and it was a perfect stay. The room I had was spacious enough and the staff were absolutely lovely and extremely pleasant. This hotel is perfectly situated. It’s close enough to several metro stations, Brussels Central station, bus-stops and tourist attractions such as Grande Place (all within walking distance). However, the room I had didn’t not have a tea station or fridge.

We had a wonderful stay at Motel one. It is very close to the central train station. And the tram station is rite before the hotel. There is 24hrs bar and they serve excellent cocktails and other drinks. We enjoyed hanging out at the lobby. The staffs were also very friendly and we had a smooth checkin and checkout. Very comfortable rooms and very well maintained.

The hotel is fairly well located, not the closest to the city center but also not far away. It is also quite close to the main train station if you plan to explore some nearby cities. The room had a decent size to spend the night. The facilities and the room were clean and fairly modern. The bed was comfortable

The hotel is vey nice, staff are friendly and responsive in general. Very good location clean and big place and have a good (average) breakfast. The staff welcomed us nicely and offered to us ground floor room looking to the garden. It was hard to open the window in one of the rooms because the restaurant tables is just around the corner. All in all I believe the place is a good budget hotel to stay special for business trips.

3 night stay: Good price and location, clean room, great service. The room was very clean and daily cleaning was done nicely. The service was amazing at all times, the staff was very professional and patient. The hotel is located in the middle of important places such as the central train station and the city center, so its great for sightseeing purposes. Even on our last day, the staff was so kind to keep our luggage on the last day so we can still use our last day to explore the city

Absolutely loved it here! It's decorated beautifully, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and although we had a slight issue where a mistake was made by the staff with our booking, they rectified it quickly and offered us complimentary drinks for our wait and the inconvenience. The garden area looked very tranquil but due to the weather we didn't get to experience it. The breakfast was pretty good, with a fair variety of options. It's well situated too, which was great for what we wanted out of our visit. Would definitely go again.

We managed to book the accommodation at a great price. The room was surprisingly clean. The room size was perfect for 2 people.I really liked Motel One, I hope to come back one day. :) The receptionist is very kind and patient.

Extremely kind staff and beautiful hotel! Highly recommend this gorgeous ambience and friendly staff. Special thanks and mention to the two ladies at the reception desk at 7:30 PM on Sunday, 17 Dec, 2023. I don't know your names, but you two were extremely helpful and so so kind when I needed help ❤️❤️ I can't stop thanking you! This - is what hospitality is. Kudos to you!

Our stay at Motel One Brussels started with a mistake by the reception clerk leading to a double charge on breakfast fees (fixed only thanks to a manager, as the clerk did not understand the problem). From there, it only got worse: our room, though it was a supposedly larger "Special One" was extremely small: the door to the bathroom did not open fully because it hit our bed, the closet was really minimal and space was poorly organized throughout the room and the bathroom. It was two single beds put together with separate sheets, rather than one double bed, as requested. Although it was a modern hotel, floors were entirely made of carpet, which discoloration and stains all over, in the room as well as in the common areas. Several areas of the hotel had a strange and unpleasant smell (seemed like food gone bad), and we were not overall impressed with the cleanliness. Breakfast was really not worth the price: the fruit salad was sour and almost rotting (we left it in the plate), most food options were low-industrial quality vegetarian or vegan, with no hot food being served; the water tasted like chlorine. The breakfast staff was rude and unhelpful (they asked for our room number 3 times within just a few minutes, and removed plates from our table while we were still eating). We took our dog on the trip with us, and the pet policy of this hotel was really unclear (not posted anywhere or shared by the reception staff upon check-in); we only later found out that the dog could only stay on certain floors . Wi-Fi connection was really discontinuous and almost impossible to use. The few positives: the atmosphere at the bar and in the private garden, the location (which is central, but mind the drunk and homeless people wandering outside the hotel at night time), and the parking garage directly underneath. We would not return to this hotel, nor do we recommend it to others.

Incredible hotel. It is a 3 stars but could be more. The decoration of both the common areas and the rooms is beautiful. There is plenty of room everywhere to have seat, work or have a drink or snack from the bar. Everything is comfortable. There even is an outdoor area with grass and seating places. Rooms are comfortable, large enough and provided with everything needed: Queen or king size bed, bedside shelves, two different types of pillows and towels and one duvet for each person, small dressing, tissues, hand and shower gels smell amazing. Large TV, the only negative point is that it is not a smart TV so no Netflix/YouTube etc possible. Convenient checkout until 12 pm. Complientary large bottle of water given upon arrival. Baggage cloakroom available. Friendly staff (not all speak French though). 24 Hours reception.

Good location. There's a Carrefour express close to the site. Clean rooms. Breakfast is available. I didn't try it, but I believe it'll be nice. A walking distance to Grand Place where there are nice eating spots. Spacious courtyard.

I`ve been in this motel only for a weekend. Motel is nicely located, few minutes walk from all "must see" location in Brussels". The beds are great, and bathroms are good with good showers. Very clean, The bar works 24/7 and staff is very nice. However, the rooms are super small and tiny, without safety box, no place to lave your clothes (very limited) and without any fridge/coffee/tea. Price/performace is acceptable if you are for short stay.

This hotel is very beautiful. The location is great. The breakfast is enjoyable not lavishly though. There is no hot protein in that breakfast. Rooms are very modest with just the bare minimum needed to have a confortable stay. The downside about the room is the shower. It has no door. So you might have water spilling over. For the location and the room's quality, I think it is a fair price. OOOh I forgot, they charge you 20€ extra if you have a +1 staying over night.

Great breakfast and spotless clean hotel room. The location is central but its uphill, it can be a lot when you tire yourself with activities the entire day. The nearest supermarket is in 500 meters and the hotel charges a lot for water.

Best deal for the price in Brussels. Located in the city centre. All must see places are within 10 minutes walking distance. Excellent service. Small but very clean and convenient rooms. And the most important thing: Hotel bar is open till 2-3 a.m.

Good location for exploring Brussels. Room was an OK size, but no safe and no fridge (which I know isn't in the description but I hadn't registered and I found disappointing). Breakfast was OK, continental only and enough of a choice, included fresh fruit and the coffee was decent. Plenty bars and restaurants near by, didn't have to head to the area around the Grand Place. Late night bar was good. Staff friendly and helpful.

The lobby and check in staff were nice but the room is tiny, they only give paper cups, no kettle or minifridge. They didn't clean the room during the time for "sustainability" reasons, but still on the day off check out. The cleaner entered the room twice whilst we were there before 9am. The bed wasn't great and the bedding was very bad.

Simply the best hotel we've ever been to from this hotel chain. Clean, super well located, attentive staff... It's totally worth it. Also, the parking is just undergrad of the hotel, super easy to access.

Very convenient location, close to the Central station (8 minutes walk) and Grote Markt but outside the tourist crowd and noise. Very quite and safe location. Rooms are small but very clean and have everything needed. Our window was overlooking the inner courtyard and it was very quiet in the room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Cleaning staff is efficient, reception desk very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel interior is extremely nicely decorated with beautiful lobby / bar. Great experience, I highly recommend this place.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel's restaurant, I was greeted by an ambiance of warmth and hospitality. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling breakfast delicacies wafted through the air, enticing my senses and preparing me for a culinary adventure. The breakfast buffet was a testament to the hotel's commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. A vast array of breakfast options, ranging from classic favorites to international specialties, was beautifully presented, tempting even the most discerning palate. What truly set this breakfast apart was the exceptional attention to detail and the genuine care exhibited by the staff. They were attentive to every need, ensuring that each guest felt valued and appreciated. Their warm smiles and polite demeanor created an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. I was particularly impressed by the hotel's commitment to catering to vegan guests. A dedicated section of the buffet featured an abundance of plant-based options, including fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy-free yogurt, and an assortment of vegan pastries. The staff was well-versed in vegan cuisine and happily provided recommendations to ensure that I had a satisfying and enjoyable breakfast experience. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable. The buffet area was spotless, and the staff was constantly replenishing food items and maintaining a clutter-free environment. This attention to hygiene is a testament to the hotel's dedication to providing a safe and comfortable dining experience for all guests. The multilingual staff deserves special recognition for their ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. They spoke English, French, and Spanish fluently, ensuring that no guest felt lost or misunderstood. Their ability to connect with people from different cultures further enhanced the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Without a doubt, the hotel's breakfast buffet deserves a perfect 5-star rating. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a clean and welcoming environment made it an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly remarkable breakfast experience.

This is the best choice when you go to Brussels. A very modern Hotel with a location very close to all landmarks like Grand Place and a short walk to the Central train station. Impeccably clean hotel with highly polite and proffesional staff from the moment you check in at reception to room cleaning, breakfast and bar. Great experience in every way.

Great location and friendly staff. Also very clean. However the room we stayed in was very small, we could barely move around in it. No place to put luggage, no minibar, no nightstand to put your phone down, and no safe. For 140€ per night there should be these standard amenities in my opinion. Also note that the hotel doesn’t have their own parking garage and the one behind the hotel was already full, so we had to park very far away in a sketchy area. Pre-booking this garage is also not possible.

Super friendly management. Motel One has a really nice concept, always in a good shape due to regular renovation. The breakfast is nice, also the widened option to have it in several places is really nice. Rooms are clean, silent and the view in the court is also good. Very good situation for a city visit and easy connection to public transport.

Very nice location and super good position since you can reach the city center pretty quickly by walking. The rooms are small but they have the essentials, the beds are comfortable and the common areas are beautiful. The staff is really kind and nice, we needed to print some travel documents before leaving and the girl at the reception kindly helped us. Strongly recommended!

The hotel is nicely located and provides the typical Motel One service. The breakfast is really good, the bread rolls are super tasty. The bar provides a large selection of local Belgian Beers, definitely a place to drink a drink or two. Be aware, the rooms pointing to the street are noisy, the isolated windows are only of little help.

  • 5/5 Victoria P. 1 year ago on Google
Clean, everything you need, great breakfast and professional staff. A 5-star experience in a reasonably prices establishment. The regular rooms are small but correctly described and larger room are available for a slightly higher price. I have never been disappointed with this hotel. During their renovations, information about this was clearly posted on the website. The location is great for me since my office is 5 minutes away. And the breakfast! The breakfast is the best that I have had a hotel so far. I highly recommend MotelOne.

Motel One in Brussels Belgium on Rue Royale is in an awesome location.. in fact the Royal Place is a 5 minute drive with no traffic. The area is bustling with bars and store fronts. Once walking inside the Motel One. It is very trendy. The rooms are a decent size for the price $88 Euros a night I. NOVEMBER. The room is really clean. It reminds me of a tiny house because it's so organized with little cubbies. The restroom is modern. The carpets are clean.. What I didnt like, no telephone in the room to ask questions to the staff. The doors locking mechanism is strange, it just goes in circles, no extra security on the inside of the doors. The bedding is 2 twins pushed together and two small blankets. It's super clean and I would stay again for location and cost.

Good location, modern hotel, good breakfast. Unfortunately, the temperature and air quality in the room was unmanageable / bad which resulted in bad sleep. Opening the windows was also not really an option because of the very busy street. Rooms a tidy but very small.

Over all great experience! The rooms were very well kept. The bar is always well stocked, which is perfect after a long day. Breakfast was also great. They had a wide array of pastries, meats and cheeses. The Hotel is very well situated, about a 10 minute walk from the city center and a 5 minute walk from the Berlin fine art gallery.

Premium location with access to the centre of the city and metro+bus stations nearby. Strongly recommended for people wanting to stay at a premium hotel with a great experience. Only downside is that the TVs in all the rooms were facing a problem because of which casting on TV was not possible. Otherwise, great experience. Strongly recommended.

The hotel was amazing. I always love to stay at the motel ones. The hotel was very sleek. The outside sitting area was relaxing. The decor was a 9 out of 10. The balcony rooms are larger than the standard rooms as well.

Lovely modern style hotel in a great location. One member of staff was very helpful offering advice on where to visit and helping us in any way he could. Other members of staff were less helpful and when asked about local attractions they had little information on attractions and transport, which is disappointing. There was very few staff on during busy times such as check in , which seems bizarre to me. Many guests were required to stand in the lobby for 20 minutes or longer to check in, due to lack of staff. The bar staff were extremely rude. We were left standing at the bar after asking for a bottle of water while the staff moved around us, ignored us, and continued what they were doing. As someone who has worked in hospitality, this shocked and disgusted me. We were also shocked that complementary water was not offered to guests in their rooms and we were charged for a small bottle of water to bring to our room. We have never before experienced this in any hotel. Overall the great location is the only major redeeming quality.

I forgot my phone while rushing out the door. The staff found it while cleaning. After I emailed then them, they promptly got back to me and provided a few return options since I was no longer in-country. We decided to ship the phone to me at a very reasonable rate; they even shipped it inside an iPhone box. Great Service from the reception and cleaning crew. Bartender was also a nice fellow. Would recommend!

Don't be fooled by the name, this place is definitely HOTEL quality. It is centrally located, beautiful, modern and very cost effective. It was clean upon arrival, check in was efficient, the staff was helpful and the grounds were amazing. There's even a patio and bar so you can hang out at the hotel and the vibe is great. All the must see major attractions in Brussels are within walking distance and as a solo traveler, I felt very safe. I will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to anyone I know who is traveling to Brussels. It definitely exceeded my expectations especially considering how reasonable the price was.

Great location that's about a ten minute walk from the train station. The lobby is beautiful, and the staff is friendly but they couldn't accommodate an early check-in. The room is very small and very average; it was fine for a one-night stay but I wouldn't recommend much longer.

Such a stunning hotel with utterly friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately due to last-minute reservation we got a room which was pretty small, claustrophobic and extremely hot, but we’ll take this as a lesson and never reserve last-minute (our own fault)🙃! Breakfast buffet in the morning was so delicious and well presented! We had so many coffees, because it was out of this world! ☕️😋☕️ Overall our experience at the Motel-One for New Year’s Eve was aesthetically pleasing and one more thing about the staff: excellent at communication, genuine smiles and great service!!! Merry everything and a happy always!🤩🫶🏼

I recently stayed at Motel One with an excellent location - it was close to a variety of attractions and eateries. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, with friendly staff who were always willing to help with anything we needed. The location was definitely a highlight of our stay - it was within walking distance to many popular landmarks and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. We were able to easily explore the city and try new places to eat without having to go too far from our hotel. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was really impressed with Hotel One. Based on the name, I wasn't expecting very much, but I was (happily) proven wrong. Breakfast was truly exceptional. I most enjoyed the coffee machine, which also had hot chocolate. There was a good variety of foods available, all fresh and plentiful. Very clean establishment, with daily maid service. My room was small but as it was for one person and I was on a business trip, I found it more than sufficient. A comfortable mattress and pillows, along with light darkening curtains, ensured I slept well every night. The bar was a nice option and the hot chocolate I ordered after being out one rainy night hit the spot!

I stayed two days. Honestly, I love these business hotels. The staff is very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are clean. I arrived early (10:00am) but the staff offered me to check-in at that time. Maybe the breakfast could have a wider offer, but the price for one night was only 130 € (including breakfast). I can recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future.

This hotel is a 2-star with a 3.5-star breakfast and nice lobby decor. This is not a hotel for people on a business trip. The rooms are like singles in a hostel - little to no amenities, desk is slightly bigger than airplane tray and has small stool, no electric plugs at desk, no safe, etc. When I was there, there was no early check in and then later a long line (40+ min) to check in. On the positive side, the breakfast is great but crowded.

When on a work trip, I just need a bed in a clean room, a tasty breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere. The Bruxelles Motel One provides everything I need and adds a modern and friendly design to the equation. In addition, it's located centrally to all my work needs in Bruxelles and quite affordable. So far I don't see any weaknesses that could justify less than five stars. Maybe one suggestion for improvement: an additional light curtain that just blocks views but lets in the natural light.

Love this brand, good value for money. Beautiful decorated hotel. Modern, clean and functional room. Nice and varied breakfast. Very friendly staff, the lady in reception gave me a free cocktail voucher as it was my bday a day before de check in.

Without a doubt it is my favorite hotel in Brussels. Elegant and modern decoration in turquoise color. The rooms are not excessively very large, but well decorated, with extra pillows. Breakfast is not included, but only 2 minutes from the hotel you have a Paul cafeteria. The chill out area is perfect for a cocktail after walking all day knowing the city. If you want a hotel that is 3 minutes walk from the cathedral and s 10 from the Grand Place in Brussels, this is your hotel.

A brand we stay with frequently when we want a no frills yet quality stay. Rooms are small and spare, but common lounging areas are pretty and they have bar service. Breakfast is extra but a good deal. The air control leaves a lot to be desired, though. I'm laying on the bed half-clothed sweating my behind off so beware if you are traveling in warm weather. All I did was drip sweat all night.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and I must say that I'm truly grateful for the exceptional service I received from the entire staff. Their hospitality and professionalism left a lasting impression on me. One incident that particularly stands out is when I had an unexpected health issue in the middle of the night. The hotel staff, especially the reception personnel, went above and beyond to assist me during this difficult time. While I didn't require hospitalization, their prompt and caring response was truly comforting. They provided me with everything I needed, including additional towels, and ensured that my room was cleaned as promised. I also want to express my appreciation for their assistance in handling a delivery from Amazon. It's the little things like this that make a stay at a hotel feel like home. In general, the support I received during my 24-hour bout of illness was outstanding. The staff's kindness and dedication to their guests are commendable, and I couldn't have asked for better care during a challenging situation. Thank you to the entire hotel team for making my stay not only comfortable but also memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a welcoming and caring environment during their travels.
