    There was a razor left in the shower from a previous guest - makes you wonder the last time it was cleaned. Room smelled like smoke, the reception musty. The entire hotel hasn't been kept up. Everything is outdated, broken or old. The double bed were two singles put together with a deep divide in the middle. It was doable for 1 night and being out constantly, but we didn't even dare to shower. The only thing good is the location.

    I really enjoyed my stay in this Hôtel. The bad point is that the toilettes is very small but very very clean. The hot water takes so long to get into the tap. Close to most of everything and located in a very clean street! The room had frigobar. I didn’t take breakfast but I ordered a coffee in reception for 2 euros, but very good. ** reception is not open 24h/24h but they give you a key if you want to come back late ** I recommend!

    Was there for 3 nights, the hotel is dirty and our skin is irritated and our hands are full of red spots. The toilet is also not very clean and everything on bed is not replaced but just put back to its original position. We need to consult a doctor for our skin problem after staying in the hotel, which has never happen before. The wifi is also very bad which disconnected frequently.

    I really want to give a good rating for this place, but it is by far the worst hotel I’ve lived in, including hostels. First, nobody is tending the front desk and you have to call for someone to come which often goes to voice mail. Then at night, the front door is always locked, again you have to call and wait in the cold for 20+ mins in order for someone to come to open the door for you to get into this hotel. If you come from another country and your phone doesn’t work, too bad, wait an hour or more or maybe nobody ever comes to check the front door to get you. The room itself, Floor is shaking, every time you walk, the furniture will make noise due to the thin flooring. The following two photos? This is at 10am when I want to check out and called the number it posted 8 times, still stuck here.

    My stay in this hotel was excellent. The hotel was proper and the staff (manager) was really nice. The location is perfect on walking distance from the city center but in a more quiet street which is nice during the night. The rooms are big enough. The hotel has a historical appearance. But my fifth star review is for the fantastic service of the reception. I forgot some accesoires for my laptop (the mouse) and the manager from the hotel offered to bring it back to me at the Atomium (6 km from the hotel). I would recommend anyone to stay in this overall friendly hotel.

    Avoid this place! I arrived at the hotel late at night, after having traveled for hours, only to find out that my room was overbooked to somebody else. When I showed the employee the confirmation of my reservation and payment he said that he was not working there and he could not speak English(!). His boss came quite later swearing and stinking alcohol. It was not only me having the same problem with the booking and some of us were bullied to leave the hotel without adequate compensation. The story ends with him fleeing from the policemen we called for his unacceptable behavior.

    We called over the phone to the hotel and asked for a manager, The receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. The worst customer service. I would never stay at this hotel just because of the receptionist attitude. The worst. Avoid the hotel

    Where can I start?! The welcome and service we received at Hôtel Queen Mary for our stay was inexplicable. The hotel reception staff were so lovely and showed such kindness and care. Everybody was extremely welcoming. The room was just magical and very clean. We cannot commend the hotel and staff enough. We will definitely be returning soon.

    A small, charming hotel, located directly next to the center of Brussels which is just a 5 minute walk away - you can easily reach the Grand Place by foot. There is also a tramway and a metro station nearby. The rooms are tidy and clean, equipped with everything you need. One thing to explicitly point out: The service was top notch. The hotel manager was the friendliest I have ever encountered, always helpful, polite, endearing. It was a lovely stay at the Hotel Queen Mary which I can recommend to everyone!

    The room was filhy. There were hair everywhere, on the bathroom walls, in the sink, toilet and toilet cover and in the shower; on the bedsheets and mattress, on chairs. Literally everywhere, and not just one or two in every place, but a bunch, as if the room had never been cleaned properly (there were also a thick layer of dust on EVERYTHING and the room smelled bad) or cleaned with dirty rugs. Furniture, walls and appliances were overall shabby, with live wires exposed in some plugs and lots of spots on the walls covered with mold. We asked the manager about a solution, for which he proposed a room swap for the night while the other room was being cleaned. We agreed to this only to find out that the other room was in the same conditions. When we confronted him again he changed his attitude and didn't cooperate as before. We tried to propose different solutions which were all declined. In the end we had to find another hotel and left the room(s) without any refund, not even partial as we even proposed to pay for the day of the check in. Given the current situation the hotel stated that it's taking extra measures to make the rooms clean and safe for the guests, as can be read on a little pop-up while booking the rooms on booking.com. For this hotel this has been shown to be a LIE. Maybe next time they should clean the rooms first, before "sanitizing" them!

    Nice hotel , friendly staff but couldn’t understand a word they said. Perhaps they weren’t being friendly who knows. Free WIFI but that’s only for paying guests. I tried using it outside the building but it’s locked , so not really free. Only real downside was the cheese, utterly revolting. If you’re a cheese lover don’t stay here.

    As a tourist, I’ve been to many hotels. But this was definitely the worst. The staff is cold, unhelpful and unprofessional. Avoid this hotel if you don’t want to ruin your holidays.
