This restaurant is terrible. They tried to overprice for us even though they served us such a mean paella. I insisted we didn't order special paella which is 45 euro, we just order simple paella which is 25 euro. I put 25 euro and drink fee on a table and tried to get out of this crazy restaurant. Then, they grabbed my arm hard, and "pay!!". I was like "what a horrible guy". I said like "don't touch me" and " I'm gonna call police". However, they still garabbed me. So I took my last resort which I shout loudly " This is crazy restaurant!! Be careful guys!!" Finally, the owner gave up, and they released me. I felt so horrible and STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND.

Echoing what others have said here. We were tired and hungry after a long day of travel. We saw a sign posted for steak frites for 15 euro so we sat down, got two beers, water, and two ‘steak frites’. First, they give you a higher priced menu than advertised. Second, the steak had no seasoning at all and the portions were ridiculously small. Neither steak was cooked correctly. The frites were just a small bowl of lukewarm fries. Then, when we went to pay the waiter said cash only. We were shocked. We argued with him and he asked us to come inside where we finally paid with a card. The total was $45 euro. Avoid this restaurant.

SCAM ALERT Unfortunately this was the first restaurant upon arriving in Brussels. It gave us a bad taste for every restaurant we ate after. We looked at the menu outside and saw some of the “specials” they had on the board. We walked in a they seated us and gave a menu. First, they only offered us the expensive menu, we asked them for the menu that was posted outside, thats when things went downhill. The menu appeared to be the same but the dishes and prices were not the same. We specifically saw a grilled chicken outside and the new menu only had a fried chicken. We told them we wanted the grilled chicken and they said okay sure. When the chicken arrived, they gave us the fried chicken, we asked them we wanted the grilled chicken and the waiter said, with an angry voice, “That is chicken”. I told them we wanted Grilled chicken, he then grabbed the dish forcefully and brought it back to the kitchen. After a few minutes, he literally dropped the grill chicken onto the table. At this point, we were not happy, we asked for the bill and another surprise awaits. The price for the grilled chicken was not as advertised on the board. We argued over the price and he said the board was a mistake. I requested that he honored us the board price and he said NO. We argued for a bit and he grabbed a marker and changed the price on the board. We argued again and finally I gave in and just paid and left. Next day, I went back to see the “correct” price was erased. Scamming new customers…

Horrible restaurant, we asked about one seafood’s price, and waiter said u could read it from menu. It is french so I could only understand the price which is 45 euro. After we finish, they said it was 45 euro per person. Very horrible restaurant. The owner is super shady. Be careful!!!

Having haggled the price down to a much more reasonable amount than the ridiculously high sticker price, the food was ok. We got the paella in which although the seafood was cooked well, the whole dish was vastly underseasoned. Wouldn't visit again.

They have probably learned from mistakes. We were served very well, also the white wine was served ex gratia. The price included waffels which we didnt wanted as we were already full with seafood and fries (btw delicious one). So they gave us instead the take-away waffels and asked for the full price instead of shortening the price what we kind of expected. Still - it makes sence to follow your expenses anywhere.

Simon - who speaks English - met us outside. Gave us free drink and dessert. Great seafood! Expect them up sell you as this causes confusion based on the reviews below.

The offer outside is just a hook. The menu given inside has higher prices.

Bad food, and high prices. If you do not ask for the prices before you order, you pay double. The worst experience in Brussels. Never again. Stay away!!!
