👍👍 The best carrot cake I have ever eaten ! The waitress-cashier is very welcoming and gives good advices about the day’s menu which is completely vegan. The “horror movie” theme decorations give the cafe a nice atmosphere Definitely a must try ! People often mention vegan, coffee, great, good, brunch, nice, cakes, friendly, menu, amazing,

Very hipster friendly brunch and chill place that I'd like to visit again. Decorated as a Halloween party shop, it's got all the goodies for a quick bite stop before you continue your Brussels town tour. Prices are reasonable, people are colorful, service is kind, sandwiches are tasty and crunchy.

I liked the vibe here, the food however, disappointed me very much. I didn’t like the texture of the Halloween cheesecake and couldn’t finish the ultra sweet beetroot latte. I am also not a fan in general of the concept of vegan meet and cheese in general, so not a place for me. The cake my friend ordered was better, but overall not very tasty. I feel like it’s a cool place to go to as a vegan person seing the lack of alternatives. But I also feel like I would make a better vegan cake at home.

One of my favorite places in Brussels! The owners are simply put the kindest and most dedicated people ever. Their concept is different from any other place you'll find in the city. The pastries and brunches will truly make any non-vegan question why they haven't made the switch to a cruelty-free diet yet!

Great place! I've wanted to come here since they first opened, but rarely get this side of town. Lovely people! We had an impromptu ethical chat about separating art from the artist (completely my doing) and I look forward to returning soon. Nice coffee and pastries, too! Update: My last review was from nearly a year ago and I was so happy to return today. (I can't seem to add a new review, so editing my previous one.) After my last visit, l'd planned to go regularly but had a serious illness and have spent the last nine months isolating/with treatment. So thrilled to finally feel well enough to go back today! I was a bit nervous to be dining inside with so many other customers, but I felt safe enough. A friend saw their FB post about the lasagne plat du jour, knowing I'd been craving it - and it was excellent! Nice, big portion so I was able to take some home, too. It was my friend's first visit and she loved the soup. It felt great to be amongst fellow unique people, as I missed it greatly. Hope to go back again soon. Merci and bedankt! Update July 2022: What can I say? Perfect, as always. First time doing weekend brunch and it was fantastic (natuurlijk). My favourite place; I may have to move closer... (My photos from before have disappeared, so adding new ones!)

If there was 10 stars I could put them all 😊 Very tasty and something different from other "vegan type places". Even in this cold, you will feel the warm welcome service and very friendly. Good job guys 💪✌️🌱

One of the best vegan place in the western world ! Morgane & Lucas, the owners, are so nice and thoughtful. Everything is homemade and fresh of the day, made with as local and ethically sourced ingredients as possible. Price is very affordable given the unbeatable quality of the food, and the taste simply is out of this world ! 10/10 recommend for every meal of every day. Bring every single one of your friends too, even the meat eaters, they will not make fun of vegan food ever again.

This crazy cool cafe has some incredible vegan treats! I got the Belgium cream cake and a warm lavender latte, both were amazing! The vibe is very chill/rock/punk and they make it work very well! They also serve savory foods during the day when the kitchen is open. Definitely a great stop!

Cool vegan cafe with eerie vibes out of a horror movie. Good vibes. All menu is vegan. The cakes and cookies looked amazing. I had the chocolate chips giant cookie and the chocolate and nut butter brownie. Plus the bagel with scrambled “egg”, vegan bacon and vegan cheese. Coffee was good too.

I loved the decoration. It gave the small space a great charm. We got the "Hangover" brunch. And it was good. The potatoes were too soft for our liking, but the taste was great. There was a lot of "egg" in the bagel, which was a bit overwhelming but great if you're hungry.

Best vegan place in Bruxelles for brunch and breakfast! Really, you *need* to try their English breakfast and the hang over (even if you don't need it for that reason 🤭). Also the boston cake is amazing, and the black metal coffee is very original! 🖤 Staff are amazingly kind and nice, and the music and atmosphere is very cool! Recommended 100% and would come back to Brussels only to get to taste the other brunches 🖤

By far one of the warmest places in Brussels. You'll feel welcomed and at home no matter who you are. Everything is home made and delicious (and very vegan). You can feel the love and thoughtfulness the owners have put on their cozy little coffee

it was very crowded. very happy for this business! I highly believe they will grow bigger. definitely think they should also get a bigger place or open a second one in the city or in ghent/antwerp cause a lot of people come here. absolutely love the staff, the food and drinks. definitely worth to go here. it's not far from the stores in city (10-15m walk). also very pet friendly!

I've come here since the opening and have never been disappointed. The chai latte, hot or cold, is the best I've had in Brussels and almost every time I can't help picking it even when I want to try something else. The cakes are always very tasty and the slices generous. The salty caramel cake is my favorite, but I still think about the raspberry meringue tart which I miss a lot because the raspberry part reminded me of my late grandma's raspberry pudding. I can rarely afford the brunches and some of the lunches, but those I tasted when I could were delicious and generously served (such as the carbonnade and bourguignon). I'm also obsessed with the américain préparé sandwich. The staff is super friendly and I always feel safe there. I can't come as often as I'd like to anymore but it's always a pleasure making the trip there and sitting down to write with a nice latte and cake. :)

Fantastic vegan café with welcoming atmosphere, excellent coffee, food and cakes. They have lots of gluten free options on weekdays and an extensive vegan brunch menu at the weekend. It's a dog-friendly cafe!

Delicious food, been there twice now to enjoy all the dishes they offer. Super friendly staff, delicious vegan foods and overall great atmosphere. A must visit! PS: the sandwich was the best and stole the show completely!

This vegan cafe is just... I actually have no words to describe how amazing this place is because it's not just amazing it's way above that. It's an experience being here, I just moved to Sablon 2 months ago and I'm already obsessed with this place. The people here are so lovely, so passionate and dedicated to what they do. Serving incredible vegan dishes and their awesome coffee. The vibe is really chill with their funky interior and great music. The brunch is to die for, how can something so good like this exists? I'm also that person who cries(or sheds a tear) when having excellent food and I had it here. Grab that pumpkin spiced latte because you'll never find something as good as theirs !!!

We loved this place a lot! The interior is very unique and looks amazing. But more importantly, the food was also wonderful! The cakes are one of the best cakes we've had in a long time. Also the prices are super good

The food was amazing, really want to come back. I had brunch there and was too full to try their amazing looking sweets. Want to come back for the vegan (everything is vegan btw) pistach custard cake that looked sooo good 🤤

We visited this place several times while we were in Brussels because it is just soooooooo good! The whole place is so cozy and friendly, with very nice and helpful staff. Their cakes and pastries are simply phenomenal. We loved being here, drinking coffee, having breakfast, studying on the comfortable couches, and then having lunch. Their lunch menu changes regularly, but we highly recommend the Mac'n'Cheese if it's available! Their cakes made me want to cry (from joy) and dance at the same time. The violet pie is honestly a must.

After waiting first for the table and then in a long queue I was finally told that nothing in the menu is available anymore. So why then showing this menu at all. I have lost 40 min for nothing. The only plus it's for the interior design

Nice spot with delicious vegan cakes. I like the cosy style and the music is not loud. Staff is nice too. Bit pricey but the cake slice was very big.

Amazing place, nice personnel and delicious food. The position is central and yet the price is convenient, considering the quality of the products. We loved the soup and the quiche. They have many diverse and well structured drinks. Highly recommended chocolate short-bread and the huge chocolate chip cookies! I'll be back soon.

Even though, it was past 12pm when we arrived there, they serve brunch menu till 3pm, which is great, considering other places which only serve breakfast food till 11am. The food was delicious, we ordered the hangover and a peanut butter and chocolate cake, which tasted like homemade reese's. The only minus is having to order at the bar and pay in advance, which is not indicated anywhere, when you enter. Other than that the staff is kind and ready fo help you with anything. It is an amazing place to go if you are looking for a vegan cuisine.

Lovely place with vegan food and tasty coffee. We come here every once in a while and it’s always a great experience. The interior is very funky and cozy and the personnel is nice and accommodating. Their cakes and lavender latte are to die for 🫦

Busy but at the same time chill vegan café with a good selection of different coffee drinks and baked goods. Not a huge menu for savory foods, but the sandwich I had hit the spot. The chocolate chip cookie was to die for. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Price sare reasonable for Brussels.

Great looking vegan cafe with 'on brand' horror posters on the walls. Sadly they don't really do food other than cakes and pastries except for on the weekend between 11am - 2:30pm which wasn't clear on their website. So we only got a coffee then went elsewhere for breakfast/brunch.

Meh. Didn't like the chai, not many options. Everything's way overpriced.

Lucifer Lives has a high review on Google Maps and on Happy Cow. When it comes to food it only serves three vegan options, copying non-vegan options :bagel, English Breakfast, and burrito. We had the English Breakfast one, as well as coffee. The “dirty vegan” food concept intended to taste like regular fast food/comfort food. It didn’t. It was surprising that the place did not use or have any fresh non cooked vegetables. No healthy food/salad options at all were on the menu/available as vegan option. Menu also had some pies/dessert options, all vegan cakes. We didn’t finish the coffee (Long Black Americano) as they seemed dull and didn’t taste like fresh grounded quality, with limited flavour. At the time of our visit it was a very busy place, relative long time before serving. Cozy environment, with movie posters.

If you are looking for a cafe with character (and a strong identify) this is the place. Spooky AF, this bar is a quintessential representation of being passionate about horror movies while having every single thing on the menu vegan. Probably an oasis for some, this is actually a great place for all, LGBTI+ peeps in the specific being celebrated. The coffee place has a great ambience, cozy atmosphere. Expect young people, inspiring self-expression, horror movie posters and drawings, and a good vibe.

They just have the best coffee and cakes in town, friendly service and always with a smile even my dog got a little attention and a pad on the head. They also sell some great merch like tees and so on and ,well I got the last giant mug, some great mugs for your home brew.

  • 5/5 Ludovico G. 1 year ago on Google
This is your best bet if you are after brunch in Brussels. All cafes seems to be stopping serving breakfast at 12.00pm on Saturday?!?! Maybe I'm too English. Place is more on the hipster side, service was quick ! Food was great! I got the hangover breakfast, interesting flavours, realised only towards the end all is vegan 😅 I found it a bit pricy but I am happy to pay if the food is good!

  • 5/5 Kai O. 1 year ago on Google
I love this vegan café. The vibes are immaculate, the staff is really friendly and seeing how well they all get along with each other is really nice too. The coffee is good, and the desserts are even better. They also have comfy sitting so you can just sit back and relax.

Very cute place for food and coffee, very high quality and the service is just so lovely. For anyone with allergies: they really make an effort to make the food safe, so that's another bonus for the already great service.

I had the vegan English breakfast. It was quite delicious. The vegan eggs surprised me! They also had many delicious looking vegan brunch options. The coffee is delicious!
