What a great venue ❤️ Not too small, not too big. Just perfect, room enough to dance, no people pushing. Felt really intimate. Bar was easy to access, prices were ok and possibility to buy tokens in advance on their website (usable for every concert in this venue), lockers are available on the spot for 1€ so no need to queue... Toilets everywhere and cleaned. And the concert itself was amazing. It's a big win! Will definitely be back for new adventures.

You can have the best sound system and visuals in the world, it won't be worth it if you let too many people in. Yesterday's concert was horrible, I had rarely felt that oppressed before. Please consider giving us more space to dance by letting less people in.

Amazing concert hall. They still have the "jetons" system which you have to buy to get drinks. Beer selection is not big but has Jupiter and a "kriek" one (cherry flavor) I really liked. Sound is great. Well located.

Good concert venue! There is seating towards the back on the upper floor, but I preferred to be right down in the thick of it. The venue is small-scale enough to make the concerts feel more personal but still big enough to allow some space. They were running behind as far as letting the VIPs in, at least compared to what we were told in the email. I bought my drink tokens in advance, and it was easy enough to show my tickets and token voucher on my phone. FYI: If douchebags in the crowd are bothering you, be sure to ask the bouncers around the stage to help - it's part of what they're there for!

I had the huge opportunity to perform here during a private event with my band, and the experience was excellent throughout the process. The organizers were mighty helpful when we looked for a free and suitable date, and booked the place. Preparation went smoothly, with the AB team available and pro-active all the time. The day of the event, arriving there as a band was a dream. Very professional team accompanies you throughout the day. 3 sound people, 3 light people, a very strong stage manager and stage hands help you with everything you need, and make sure you can perform at your best, taking into account the stuff you want as a band. They really do this in a dialogue, bringing expert knowledge, with working with you to get the best result possible. Sound and light during the show was extraordinary. Large backstage area with cafetaria & dressing rooms. Really a dream location to perform as a band

Great venue for a concert, you can see the artists from any angle, the sound quality is impecable. They have lockers to leave your stuff, a bar that works with “tokens” that you must buy fist to purchase drinks.

A hidden gem in the centre of Brussels, this concert hall is very convenient.

Refreshing acts and established bands catering a wide audience at fair prices. Highly recommend checking their calendar and buying tickets if you're in town.

The lighting for the live mix engineers was too bright, making them appear as if they were part of a separate stage. This was distracting (Arlo Parks' concert). Typically, they are kept in more discrete light.

Great venue to see a show. Just the right size. Saw Luke Combs here Oct 23. €30 tickets and you could go anywhere you wanted.

The place is easy to reach with public transport. The accoustics are amazing, the prices for concerts and drinks very reasonable. You have a bottom area for standing and a smaller top area with limited seating. There is a very sizable area with lockers to safely store your belongings The bar and merch stands are small and quickly packed. The biggest complaint goes to the toilets, there is only one very small bathroom with only a limited amount of stalls, its too little for thousands of people which also unfortunately means the smell is horrible Overall score: would definitely recommend going to a concert here

Went to the Forest Swords gig in 11/2023, Ancienne Belgique club. Among the greatest venues I've been. Everything fully professional, likeable crowd, cheap ticket, fair prices for the drinks, a DJ not failing once concerning the selection of songs. And Forest Swords killed it on the third gig I've been like every single time.

Friendly helpful staff. Quick and efficient entry and service at the bar. Tokens used at the bar which makes it easy to by drinks and keeps the queues down. Venue well set out and sound is spot on.

Great venue. They handed out umbrellas to people in the queue to keep them from getting sunburned. Staff was polite and helpful. Beautiful venue on the inside as well. The only downside was some homeless who were trying to assault people in line waiting for the concert but security was quick to help with that.

A lovely venue made even better by being able to sit/stand wherever you wanted! Brilliant atmosphere.

Nice venue, I went to see Hanson and I could see them from like 4 or 5 meters distance, that was enjoyable. Small crowd for this concert, maybe like 300 or 400 people. Not many people using deodorant and considering it is summer sometimes the smell was annoying but that's it. The Hanson played most of their popular songs and that was really fun...

I just love AB ❤️ It is a unique place and the perfect size and shape for enjoying a concert. My preferred spot is standing up on one of the side balconies. The view of the stage is great, and if you are small, you can breathe, dance, hear, and see all at the same time ;), you just need to arrive well on time... AB is also in a great location, right in the heart of Brussels, within walking distance from so many bars, restaurants, and other points of interest. Finally, it is so much nicer seeing and hearing artists perform here than in larger, more impersonal locations. This place has a soul ✨️ 😊

One of the best concert halls in Belgium! If a band you like is planned to perform, don't even think about skipping the AB! The concert hall has great acoustics and an amazing atmosphere!

1 euro (non-refundable) for a locker is the only downside, as I always and inevitably forget something and have to open and close it again, costing me 2 euro just to store my jacket. However, there's plenty of lockers, clean toilets, quick bar service, and a top line-up of up-and-coming as well as world renowned artists

Music volume is often a bit too loud, recommend earplugs. Apart from that a super venue; lockers available (with a 1euro coin), friendly staff and a chill bar for after the gig.

Cool venue! Unfortunate that you have to purchase tokens for drinks, as it forces you to buy more tokens that you need "just in case", and just makes bar prices unnecessarily confusing 😔 Also remember to bring earplugs to protect your ears!

A fantastic place to enjoy a show. The size is moderately big, enough to watch the artists at any distance. The sounds quality was pristine and powerful. I really enjoyed it.
