Explore the many varieties of salak( snake fruit)! Bali has more types then any other indo island. Come see a local farm around for 100 years (: they make products and have a beautiful view. Bring the fam or anyone. Local experience.

Fascinating agriculture tour through the Salak (snakeskin) plantation. Had an exceptionally tasty coffee made from salak at the end of the tour while having a chat with the guide and owner, Kongking about its medicinal properties (high in antioxidants). Would love to get my hands on some of this fruit and coffee when I’m back in Australia although I think I’ll be hard pressed to find it. Beautiful scenery from the cafe too!

Beautiful hidden gem in Karangasem. Sibetan has 14 varieties of snake fruit. Try to stay longer in locals homestay and feel local touch. Sharing economy.

Enjoyed walking through the salak garden. Our host gave us samples of several varieties of salak. A few pineapple growing along the way. Drank a bit of salak"coffee". A nice 30 minute stop.

Nice place to get more insight and knowledge about "Sallaca" (Buah Salak). Also, we are able to see more than 12 variety of Sallaca and how the farmer turn it into numerous products, such as coffee, tea, honey, and vinager.

We had an amazing visit here, got to tour this beautiful agroforestry area and sample multiple different varieties of salak and different salak products. Bought some salak “coffee” (and were shown the scientific poster the proprietor’s daughter put together demonstrating the antioxidant / polyphenol content of the coffee—which he invented!!!) as well as some salak wine and salak arak, the latter of which we’re drinking right now and enjoying greatly! Highly recommended if you have an interest in tropical fruits or agroforestry systems.
