Had a really pleasant time here. Even if my korean is not the best, everyone was kind and helped me around. A wonderful view if a variety of plants both inside and in the garden.

The staff was helpful and the outdoor arboretum is worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood, yet I can't give more than 1 star due to the Botanic Garden (식물원). The collection is underwhelming, there were about 4 butterflies in the butterfly garden, but the absolute worse is the section where birds are being kept in a ridiculously small cages. 1. The cages are too small for even a single bird, but multiple birds were cramped inside. 2. The cages are bare with no distractions or comfort. 3. the cages are placed at a low level, probably for the children to have a look up close, which is a stressful and unnatural condition for birds to live in. What's the educational purpose of birds living in dismal conditions? An educational center shouldn't be displaying such a lack of interest in animal well-being. Disappointing.

Botanical building was pretty and had a few separate biomes you could walk through. A bit small but the tickets are cheap. Didn't see the relic museum or arboretum but don't go in the ecology museum, its depressing. Mostly just fish tanks and animals that would normally be kept as pets in small cages and screaming children banging on the glass. Just come for the flowers and trees.
