The best kis beton izé I have ever seen. Unlike the others, this is really concrete.

A monumental architectural leap for Hungary at the time. Saying that this masterpiece is as significant for Hungary as the Arc de Triomphe is for France would be a massive understatement. Highly recommended, book tours, place could be crowded.

(Translated by Google) When I found this gem on Csepeli-Szigetcúc while browsing google maps, I simply couldn't stop laughing for several minutes. The reviews written for it are also brilliant! 😄 I think "Kis beton izé" is ripe for being listed as a monument. 🙂 By the way, to put the word more seriously, I read that Szigetcúc used to be the airport of Manfréd Weiss works, where the famous Graf Zeppelin airship also landed. Later, fields and small gardens occupied the area under the name "Bulgarian Horticulture", where many strawberries were produced, hence the name "Eperföld". I looked at fentrol.hu's aerial photos from the time, and there you can see that there was a building (perhaps a barn or a repair shop for agricultural machinery) on the site of the "Kis beton izé". At the same time, I also found some interesting photographs from the time, which show a building similar to the one in the aerial photographs, which could be one of the aircraft repair shops at the airport belonging to Manfréd Weiss works. Which, by the way, is almost identical in shape to the building shown in the aerial photos on the fentrol.hu website, plus there is also the "Kis beton izé" under the building, which is actually a parking lot for vehicles. (By the way, the two buildings are not one and the same, because in the meantime I found a 1944 aerial photograph on maps.arcanum.com, where the hangar buildings of the airport are still there and at the northernmost point of the building complex you can see a small rectangular building with a "tin roof", similar to can be seen in the photos, at the same time, the later agricultural buildings - and the "Little concrete thing" are still missing, which will already be visible in the next earliest aerial photographs from 1969). (Original) Amikor rátaláltam erre a gyöngyszemre a Csepeli-Szigetcsúcson a google maps-ot böngészgetve, egyszerűen nem bírtam percekig megszólalni a nevetéstől. A hozzá írt vélemények is zseniálisak!

It was the library of an intellectual lady from Köbány. The administrators of the estate emptied the apartment, and the "transporters" dumped it here, which has no value in today's world. Fiction, science and religion. I collected 2 bags of books and took them to the free library in the Rákóczi tér hall. My reward is a beautiful mineral polish that I found hidden between the pages of one of the books and you can find it among the pictures.

(Translated by Google) I'm glad that the small concrete thing is so successful: D I didn't think I saved it on the maps just to find the place in terms of drone, but without a doubt, the small concrete thing is one of the biggest attractions in Budapest. (Original) Örülök, hogy a kis beton izé ekkora sikert arat :D nem gondoltam, csak drónozás szempontjából a hely megtalálása érdekében mentettem fel a maps-ra, de kétségen kívül, a kis beton izé Budapest egyik legnagyobb látványossága.

(Translated by Google) We organized a family weekend program, after a 340 km journey we finally arrived to see the famous "Little concrete thing". Our first surprise was the crowd, the lack of parking spaces, and the intrusive black sellers who wanted to forcefully push everything from socks to "Kis beton izés" key chains. We finally pushed through the crowd and took in the sights. It's worth coming! In such an experience, when visiting Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Mayan pyramid of Chichen Itza, I felt the thrill, the wonder that our ancestors were able to build such a miracle and leave it to posterity. We slowly walked around the Kis beton, carefully looking at every crack, every lichen and clump of moss, as it was not an everyday sight. We took many, many pictures so that there is something to look at during the cold winter evenings and to be kept in our album as an eternal memory. Later we sat down in a nearby wonderful restaurant called "Kis kinkyni izék" where, according to the waiter, we ate a local specialty, which I don't know exactly what it was made of, but it was vegan, and we recognized that it had sand-flavored dried moss sprinkled on top. . It was very tasty, I recommend the place. Thank you for the nice day, it was an experience, if I can, we will come again with the family. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it! I recommend it to others as a weekend program. Ajánlom másoknak is hétvégi programként.

(Translated by Google) I was here with my foreign friends during their visit to Pest, and we've been looking for it ever since! An amazing, dramatic sight, everyone should see this once! The only thing that bothered me were the many selfie-taking tourists and the herring party. (Original) Külföldi barátaimmal voltam itt Pesti látogatásukkor és hát azóta is az állunkat keressük! Elképesztő, drámai látvány, ezt egyszer mindenkinek látnia kellene! Egyedül a sok szelfizős turista és a heringparty zavart.

I'll start with the negative stuff. Unfortunately, this is a worldwide sensation, but it is not illuminated at night. Obviously, as with all attractions, there are a lot of tourists at peak times! And sometimes there are people with interesting faces. "Hi sister, don't you have a cigarette? Nostalgia is a ticket to HÈV." However, why I give it 5*: It's a quiet place outside of peak hours, and you can find the spirituality that resides in the place. The bathroom is fully cultured, environmentally friendly in the spirit of progress. In the summer, the beer is pleasantly cold and cheap, and in the winter, the refreshing warm mulled wine is pleasant. It is also possible to dine in! Homemade flavors, made from domestic ingredients, and the price is not too bad! If you are lucky, there is also a petting zoo waiting for your prized possession. I highly recommend all Hungarian and foreign guests to visit such a wonderful sight on the Csepel continent.

Seeing the little concrete thing shining in the sunset was without question the most defining moment of my life. For the first time in my 19 years, I felt like I was at home. I also bought a souvenir as a memory, which I always keep with me to remind me of this magical place!🙏🏼

It's very concrete, but mostly hot. I don't like that it's small, but it's really big. He goes to a weekend family program. You can sit down to have a picnic, drink or even play football. I recommend to everyone.
