Charming and cozy cafe with delicious coffee and friendly knowledgeable service. Also really enjoyed their homemade banana bread and fresh avocado toast on artisan sourdough. Highly recommend.

Fantastic coffee shop in Budapest. Stumbled on this place on a hot day and very glad I did: great coffee and food, friendly owner and staff, comfortable decor and good air con! Had granola and banana bread and couldn't fault it. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back on my next visit.

My friend recommended me this place, because she enjoyed it. Therefore, I tried it out and I was pleasantly surprised. The chief was very kind and gave us banana bread because our orders were delayed. It is a small café, but the food is great! It was my first time trying out banana bread and I loved it 🥰

Would recommend this place to everyone who wants a nice healthy breakfast. We had the breakfast menu that comes with 2 toasted slices of bread, one with freshly cooked eggs, one with avocado and tomatoes, a little bowl with cereals and Joghurt, a freshly made orange juice and a coffee of your choice. Everything was super delicious. The place is really small tho and upstairs you can't really sit.

Nothing but 5 stars :) I tried the affogato with double dose of espresso. The ice cream was smooth and the espresso blended perfectly! Cool music, great barista, it felt good to chill during a hot afternoon. Koszi!

Full of flavor cappuccino with the right oat milk for a great taste. Our food choices were all freshly made and easily enjoyed by the children. By the way, the children loved the little mezzanine oasis nicely prepared with tools for drawing. Our early morning barista was definitely “the most pleasant non-hungarian person”, if I am to quote my husband. Heart warming experience during our long drive back home to Berlin.

I went here twice. The first time I was impressed by the quality of the coffee. The owner weighed out the freshly ground coffee beans and made me the most close to perfect coffee that I had ever drunk in my life. I went back two days later, I had to. My hostel had free coffee, I had drunk it the day after my experience here, it wouldn't cut it. No, I needed that coffee again before I left the city. There was torrential rain and I was going to get soaked before a 4 hour bus ride. No, I needed that coffee again. It met my expectations again. Great coffee.

Made a quick pit stop for a coffee and some orange juice for the kids. Very nice atmosphere, the upstairs section is especially cozy. We didn't try the food, but the coffee was top notch. Since it was the slow part of the day, we also had a nice chat with the owner, who was manning the coffee machine. Seems like a genuinely nice guy. We'll be back!

By far "The Best" coffee place in Budapest; and I have tried them all! + excellent food, I recommend the avocado toast, + fresh healthy juices and drinks. The talented and friendly Barista complete the exceptional experience and makes this little hidden gem the "Only" must visit for any coffee lover in Budapest!

An absolutely wonderful brunch experience. We ordered the breakfast plate, banana bread, and 2 flat whites. Everything was made fresh (they pressed the juice and mashed the avocado when ordered) and the coffee was made using fantastic Ethiopian single origin light roast beans. The best part was the service. We went with our fussy toddler and the two Ladies whisked her away to the upstairs area where there was a small play area so we could eat peacefully (a priceless luxury). We were blown away and will be back as many times as our vacation schedule allows. Highly recommend!

This place is the G.O.A.T. when it it comes to coffee places in Budapest. I went there almost daily because it is so good. The coffee from Awaken Beans is excellent, the avocado toast and the banana bread are amazing. The whole place looks just gorgeous and the baristas are all super friendly. Dave, the owner, is super nice and always open for a chat about almost anything. If you looking for a place to drink coffee and feel welcome, come here. And don't miss their other place in István utca.

The place is cozy and intimate and full of good atmosphere. The people in the place are very nice, the food is amazing, everything is made on the spot and the coffee is high quality and full of good taste. Highly recommended for a good and healthy breakfast.

Great coffee ( we drank flat white both times ) and today we also got the avocado toast and banana bread! Oh man, the banana bread, warm, moist, filled with lots of fruits, it was just perfect! I would definitely return!

Found this place on a super busy day for them. They were friendly and served us with the best banana bread ive ever had and a very tasty coffee! They also make a very nice acai bowl fresh on the spot.

We stumbled upon this place by accident on our way to another coffee shop. The name caught our attention and the very friendly barista/owner won us over. The banana bread was seriously the best i’ve ever had. Avocado toast was 10/10 and we really enjoyed our matcha latte and regular latte. Please note the seating area is small if you plan on staying for a while.

One of the cutest cafès ever. Everything was delicious, the way they serve the granola with the small bottle of milk is so precious and delicate. We want to go back and try everything! Oh, and the warm / toasted banana bread was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!
