The vibe of the place couldn’t be any better. Nice selection of cocktails, and the presentation is obviously amazing. The staff is very good at helping you pick the best cocktail for you. The only down side is that it’s a very popular place, so you MUST have a reservation to get in, and as soon as your reservation is over, you have to leave. But overall, it’s a really nice place with affordable prices.

The decoration and music in the bar was nice. The drinks were served quickly and were lovely also lovely decorated. The price was also O.K (but expensive for Hungary in general). Our euphoria was a little bit dampened, after we paid our drinks.... The waitress didn't tell us that the service was already charged and billed.... I suppose she was happy for the huge tip she got out of that.....

I fell in love with this bar! My friends and I had an unforgettable night filled with excitement. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the enchanting decor that made us feel like we were in a magical place. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the prices were quite reasonable. But that's not all - the staff was not only friendly but also surprisingly positive and helpful. What pleasantly surprised us was the great attitude of the security, which added a pleasant atmosphere to the whole evening. The fun we had was fantastic, and we can't wait to come back with my friends!

The servers were lovely and attentive. I love the fact that they offer classic tiki cocktails as well as modern interpretations. They were accommodating with allergies. They even brought over the bottles of alcohol, bitters, and syrups for me to double-check. The alcohol strength ratings on the menu are pretty accurate. I ordered a four-skull strength (💀💀💀💀), and it was strong. The prices are similar to other cocktail bars in the area.

The place was beautifully decorated and the environment was very good. The drinks looked very fancy but their quality was average. I felt that I was paying mostly for the look rather than taste and quality. What I did not like was the service which was a bit on the pushy side for ordering not worthy shots before the main cocktails arrived. Also when it was time to pay the waiter was explaining the included service fee and was asking for an additional tip with a preselected option by them. At the end you may end up paying much more than the already inflated prices, so be careful.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Best place to have cocktails! The vibe was amazing and the service was immaculate. You have to reserve a table, and we had an hour slot and were then moved to bar and it was incredible to see the bartenders making the drinks!

The place is more of an Instagram place than a place to drink good cocktails. The cocktails were quite average and I have had better ones. If you want to go there once just to see the vibe and place it’s ok, but otherwise I don’t really recommend it for the cocktails as such.

Had an amazing time at Rumpus Tiki Bar in Budapest. Everything from the drinks to the layout is great. We visited twice on our short trip to Budapest and loved it both times, there's so much to try on the menu and each drink feels like a unique experience. The drinks are amazing! The layout seems well thought out too, they have areas that are louder with larger groups and keep the smaller groups/couples in a quieter area so you can actually talk. The staff seemed nice too and were very helpful with the drinks. We even bought a Tiki Mug!

Loved this place! It was a little expensive with cocktails starting at around 10€ but they are served in interesting mugs in different shapes and in a treasure box. Recommend booking a table. Friendly staff who is happy to recommend drinks. Large menu to choose from. Drinks are rated with skulls from 1-5 which show how strong they are. Worth a night out and nachos are a good snack on the side.

Love love love this place! It’s such a Tiki vibe, interior is exciting with nice decor. The cocktail menu?! Where do I start! I loved the strength meter, the key meter for sour to sweet drinks. I went for the Viva Los Muertos, the strongest drink on the menu and it definitely served its purpose I tell you that much. Would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely Hawaian style place with a tropical atmosphere and a Tiki decoration in the middle of Budapest! Great vibes, loved the music too. Seems tiny from the outside but it has 2 levels with low tables and a bar. Offers a great selection of delicious well presented coctails served in beautiful tiki mugs. Note that the place gets pretty packed, so it definetely needs a reservation.

Amazing place with tasty cocktails in unique jars with different levels of alcohol, taste and also non alcoholic cocktails . You can find everything what you prefer. Beautiful unique hawaian style interior design. Unfortunately very popular so better to reserve earlier cause there will be no place.

My partner and I absolutely loved this place! We did not book and only waited 10 minutes for a table but this was on a weekday evening, I would definitely recommend booking if you want to go. All the cocktails we tried were amazing and had ratings on how strong they were, how sweet, bitter etc. They have surprise cocktails as well as being able to request something based on your taste preferences. The staff were amazing and all the drinks had special effects like the smoke. They even had hula dancers come out at one point! Really enjoyed it here, make sure you go if visiting Budapest!

We were looking for a bar serving a wide variety of rhum. Everything was unique and so well thought, the relaxed atmosphere, music, staff, decoration, loved it! We will come back!

An overall amazing experience. The cocktails aren't that cheap in comparison to the rest of Budapest, But, they were delicious and had a great presentation to add on to the overall experience. Great drink bar! Drinks are somewhat expensive and contain mostly ice, but they are really good and stylist. The seats are really small, so we asked to move to a more comfortable table and the stuff helped us generously. Came here for birthday drinks after a meal and it was fantastic. The waiter even got me a candle in my drink which was a nice touch. Arrived and was given a table straight away. Ordered the drinks and they offered us some shots to go with them which we had. Shots came over in a chest and the drinks followed in a amazing glasses. Prices were decent for what you are getting. Between us we had Mai tai, pain killer, three dots and the dash and hurricane- all served on a wooden board with the mist for effect. Plus the shots. With the service charge on top came to about 22,000. Really friendly staff and our waiter was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are in Budapest.

Really fun bar with a lively atmosphere. The menu is extensive and tells you how strong each drink is and whether its sweet, fruity or sour which is a nice touch. The drinks themselves are really nice and come with dry ice which makes them fun! It gets very very busy so it's worth making a booking if you are definitely going to visit or turn up earlier during the evening to secure a table.

Very nice and special ambiance. You should definitely go there! The only bad thing was how fast they wanted us to leave. We had a 1 hour reserved table and after 40 minutes the waiter didn't want to take another order handed us the check. This was my second visit to Rumpus tiki bar, this time we wer sitting in a more private part on the second floor. The place has a good vibe, the walls are decorated with tiki themed pictures, wood artwork and some other materials that remind me on Havaii. There is some nice scent inside, like some these incense sticks do. The staff is friendly and they have a large variety of coctails. You can even see on a scale how strong they are (from alcohol free to 5). The drinks are served in some unique mugs which fit the places design. I can totally recommend it, we had a great time.

Definitely a unique experience you must give a try, cool cocktails with special cups, in addition you get dry ice as a decoration and the bartender was professional and quick. MAKE SURE TO MAKE A RESERVATION, we didn't but luckily the owner set us on the bar.

Sat down to have a beer. The waitress told us that we must have a shot of rum or whiskey, otherwise we can't have a beer. We told her that we only feel like having a beer and she said it's a their rule to try rum and if we don't like it, we can leave. We weren't forced to leave.

Such a cool atmosphere and the cocktails are presented in the most fantastic way. Really friendly staff, great fast service. The menu is interesting and fun with a large and varied cocktail selection. Usually you would need to book to guarantee a table but we got lucky and were seated anyway.
