This behaviour was completely unacceptable and left us feeling humiliated and disrespected. To make matters worse, the tip was already included in the bill, so we had to pay for the service, despite being offended by the server's behaviour. When we talked back about this issue while leaving the restaurant, the server did not seem to take it seriously, perhaps because I was laughing. In reality, I was not laughing because I found the situation humorous, but because I was dumbfounded by such a rude behaviour by the server. As someone who has lived in Budapest for two years, I have never encountered such blatant disrespect in any restaurant. It is unacceptable for a server to make fun of their customers or lie to them, and it is equally unacceptable for a restaurant to include a tip in the bill without asking the customers' consent. I strongly advise the management of this restaurant to reevaluate their hiring process and to ensure that their employees treat all customers with the respect and dignity they deserve. My favourite dinner experience in Budapest. Ended up going there twice! Very nice atmosphere with piano life. Food and service are great! The take on beef tartare is different but I loved it. The goulash was great as well and very cute with the bread! Both times I had to have the cod with pesto risotto. Really liked it!

I have a tradition to order souffle desserts at almost every place I eat at, but this one is deffinitely one of my very best choices! The restaurant is very popular and reservations need to be made a few days in advance.

Really nice atmosphere. We were without reservations, but they found us a table. The food was delicious, the pork schnitzel was really big and nice. The children's menu starts with soup, and kids really like it. Mushrooms' concase was really delicious..The desserts were unique, also the coffee. Nice and delicious restaurant.

We actually got to this place on a way. They seemed pretty full , but they were able to accommodate 4 of us. Actually the restaurant is big with 4 different areas of sitting. The service was fast, and the starters and soups were served fast. For the mains, we didn't wait too long. The food was good, but it was inconsistent in terms of taste or quality. Some dishes were really good, like goulash soup or duck breast, but beef cheek was tough. But overall I would recommend

The food, service, and decor were wonderful. The inside is whimsically themed and fun to look at. There was a person playing piano on the Friday night I was there. They feature a different local winery every season, you can have a 3 glass wine tasting. I had the the pork starter from the Chef's offerings menu and the vegetarian stuffed cabbage from the regular menu.

It’s a nice place. Service was good, waiters paid attention. The food was more or less delicious. The dessert was amazing.

Delicious food, amazing atmosphere and there are games you can play with at your table while waiting for the food to arrive even though they came so sooo quick! No wonder there are almost 10k review on this place. A definite must go for food with local flares. However, the sign in the bathroom, I am quite sure two languages are put upside down (Thai and Hindi?)

We came in very late around 9 pm and we were lucky still got dinner. The food we had was very good. My BF has schnitzel with potatoes salad. Was very good. I had duck breast with pasta. Also good. The only reason I gave service 3 stars because we would love to have dessert but instead to let us know that the kitchen closed soon, he just said no dessert.

Went to have our lunch at 3pm, and the restaurant ady crowded with queue. The waiters seem to put Asian aside to wait, and they give priority to bigger walk-in groups that arrive later than us. They gave them a better dining area with a long table, but we were seated in the back-end corner. The food takes around 30 minutes to be served. Goulash soup with bread on top, both soup and bread are way tooo salty. Rose duck breast with cabbage, the duck meat itself is good. However, we don't see any cabbage. Instead, we got a bunch of overcooked flatted pasta alike, which is tasteless and soggy. Fried pork chop comes with potato salad. The portion is huge and tastes good! 👌 Confit Beef cheek with bread. Beef cheek is dry. We don't like the texture of the round potato alike wheat bread. It's dry tasteless.

Everything was perfect, tried goulash and hortobagyi style crepe. The taste was amazing, portion was enough. Interior is very cool. Didn’t have reservation but didn’t wait at all to get seated. The staff was friendly. Will definitely visit again If I visit Budapest again in the future.

Absolutely delicious. Food was the best among all the food that I had during 3 days staying in Hungary. They provide traditional hungarian cuisine with creative touch. Also the vibe of the restaurant was good. They had walls filled with crows and it was cute. XD. Highly recommended.
