Very nice, clean and modern hotel with all the facilies you need and a friendly staff. Also the breakfast was really good, we didnt expect such a variety of possibilities. It is also just 10 minutes by walk from the centre. If you are going to Budapest, we can only recommend.

Had a good time at this place. Amazing service. Great help with the locations we wanted to go to. They helped us with booking cabs, figuring out locations and timings etc. Want to appreciate Marcell who helped us with our emergency appointment for rtpcr tests and explained everything in great detail😊

Hotel stay is pleasant, room is very clean and the service is exceptional, the receptionist Russell has been accommodating with requests and been really helpful throughout the stay. Location is even better.

This is a solid 3-star hotel. Pros: - the staff and front desk are spectacular. Marcel is extremely nice and helpful. I think my 4 stars are mostly attributed to the genuinely, kind staff. Good people. - pretty clean - hot shower - spacious - location is good - quiet for sleep - strong wifi - powerful heating system for winter - cool lobby setup with affordable drinks and some snacks - right next to subway system - right next to a Burger King, literally next door Cons- 1. Shower water can spill everywhere 2. The rooms are very very very basic (like no coffee maker, no hot water boiler, no extra cups). It’s very bare bones, no “fat” whatsoever lol. This is not luxury hotel but it never represented itself to be luxury either so it’s fair. It’s a great, solid, safe, pretty clean hotel for travelers with a great staff (especially Marcel) at the front. I would stay here again.

Ibis is a well known brand and provides a good 3 star (European standards) business hotel experience. I like that it's eco friendly with no single use items in the room (toiletries, slippers etc) Bed was comfortable, wifi fast, shower powerful and heating worked well(much needed) . Breakfast was satisfactory with lots of gluten free options which was a nice touch. Fast check in & out, walking distance to major attractions. Overall a very nice stay.

Best Ibis experience so far! The room was bigger than expected. The staff asked us beforehand of we would like a rollover bed for our toddler and when we arrived everything was set up. Breakfast was very good with multiple choices, enough not to get repeated for 4 days. Very convenient underground parking at decent price. Also decent prices at the hotel bar! No complaints, highly recommended.

We had a fabulous stay in Budapest which was enhanced by the great location and the very helpful staff at the City Ibis. Laszlo was extremely patient and professional, thank you. The breakfast was good and the rooms are clean. Great hotel.

Stayed here 5 nights. The Room service was not good, they come only around 11 when we still were in the room. We asked them to come a bit later but that did not happened. Also, the breakfast is not very good.

Nice and clean hotel. A little far from the city center, but it is ok. Good service and fair price.

I am very loyal to IBIS , I only stay in your hotels wherever I go , this loyalty has developed for over more than 15 years now. So it is such a feeling of belonging to the place and being familiar with it.

I stayed here for 4 nights. I went to travel alone and feel really safe here. Breakfast is really good, have many choices I don't eat sweet in the morning.. they have scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, cheese. Good coffee machine. Room really comfortable and quiet. Service is depend on the person you meet. 1st night when check-in, I met one guy is not good service but other are good.

The room was quiet, even thought the hotel is in the downtown area. Very comfortable bed, and great breakfast.

excellent location, excellent atmosphere, the lobby is so nice, the rooms not facing the street are the quietest i've experienced in recent years in a hotel. other than that some rugs in the rooms will make this hotel perfect. the breakfast is very decent, the service is great, the coffee is delicious

This was a very clean hotel, the rooms were ideal for a few nights with comfy beds (only one spare pillow for a double room which wasn't great) Staff friendly and helpful, with coffee and snacks available all the time. Location wise great for exploring the city. Would stay again

Near to city center. Breakfast was very delicious and varied, I need more fruit, in the menu, but it is personal. Our room was clean and we were able to sleep peacefully.

Large, clean, spacious rooms - a must for such a prestigious hotel. But what determines success are people - a cordial, friendly team made me feel at home. We will be back for sure!

Solid option. Housekeeping only on request right now, but no issues for my weekend stay. Room has some minor issues expected with an older hotel (paint peeling near the window) but staff was helpful and you can’t beat the location!! Also wine by the glass for less than €2 in the lobby.

Nice place to stay. Staff was really nice. Just few steps from metro and bus station. Parking spot available for 15€/night. Very good and cheap choice close to city center. Special thx for outstanding offer to park par here before check-in. Super special thx for having room ready before offcial check-in time.

We had a great stay at Ibis Budapest City! The room was exactly what we were searching for as a base for our three day trip, it was comfortably sized with a nice bathroom. We opted in for breakfast every morning and we got a discount for doing so and booking all at once at check in, which was a pleasant surprise! The food at breakfast was fantastic and there was loads to choose from, definitely set us up well for our days of walking and exploring the city. Lastly, the staff were brilliant! Everybody we spoke to was so friendly and helpful, and they really made our stay a very comfortable one. Thank you, Ibis!

There are stairs at the entrance of the hotel. For this reason, you have to carry your suitcase up 9-10 steps by yourself. No one is helping. Hotel breakfast is average. I can say that the room is the worst when I compare it with the ibis hotel rooms I have stayed in before. cleaning was good.

A great property to be hosted at. The manager resolved our booking issue on Friday replacing our mistakenly booked room in August to July while it was impossible you get a room during the formula 1 dates. Highly recommended, money value.

I was pleasantly surprised how clean the hotel was, we stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were good, spacious, although basic they too was very clean. The breakfast was really nice, fresh and the staff both in the restaurant and the reception are really friendly, attentive and always willing to help. I would definitely come back here and recommend this Ibis. The location is good too.

I enjoyed my stay at ibis Budapest City. The location is very central and there's a metro station right next to the hotel. Buses and trolleybuses also run close to the hotel. The hotel is small, but my room was easily large enough for one person and would comfortably accommodate two. The Wi-Fi worked well and the room was very clean and well maintained. The room was quiet, with no noise coming from either inside or outside. The only thing missing was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was good. There's cooked food with items like scrambled egg, hash browns, sausages and porridge. Plenty of cold cuts and cheese, cereals, bread, fruit juices etc. I would stay at this hotel again if I returned to Budapest.

The hotel might be little old - but the rooms are quite spacious! The location is great - it is right around the M2 metro line station as well as the tram stop. It was quite convenient. The bathing area is a little tight (and I am a tiny guy who says this). The breakfast was superb, great value for money with lots of options. The staff is really friendly and nice

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and nice room. Location is good but also close to bars etc so if you don't want to hear drunk tourists on your doorstep may not be the right place.

Very slow at answering potential customers. Ended up booking a different hotel as it took them 5 days to answer my question. Bad customer service

Good clean hotel in the city center with walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Subway just around the corner for longer trips.
