Service was quite slow, the room service without knocking and asking if there are people inside the room enters it, also cleans it even when we do do not ask for it. The breakfast was quite nice.

Great location as a base for a city break. Close to all transport links and within easy walking distance to a variety of eating and drinking establishments. The hotel rooms are clean and suitably designed. Staff are extremely helpful for when you need tourist advice.

Dont buy into this fakeness. Everything look alright until you start to notice things. The food was uncooked and had diarrohea for the entire week I was spending in Budapest. Never again.

We stayed one night and it was ok. Very good breakfast. The hotel doesn't have parking. The paid parking is 200m away but it is on a one way street. Same street the hotel is. You have to go around to get there, after you reach the hotel. No restaurant also but you can find good terases/restaurants not far away.

Well, there was abit of a hiccup. Because when we first arrived at the hotel we were given a downstairs disability room. And in our booking we had abeen allocated a room with a the hotel view. When we did query this, we're were told that the hotel was at it's full capacity. The wardrobes handle were broken... the room was not suitable, so after a few minutes, David who had checked us in came and advised that they were moving us rooms. And we went upstairs to another room that had a beautiful view of the hotel. One downfall is that the room have no windows so there is very bare to minimal air... we did have air-con but that was not working.. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable and bathroom very clean. Breakfast was absolutely amazing when I did make it down. The shattered working in the kitchen were absolutely amazing Klara, was really very helpful and lovley lady. So we're the rest but I didn't get there names... Upon check out we were able to leave our stuff whilst we got make a day of the last day there. This hotel is absolutely amazing it seems to be at the heart of everything. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Köszönöm!!

Very nice, well located hotel. You can enjoy the city perfectly from this place. Breakfast was rich, room was nice and clean. Only thing I missed there was a normal window, I had just a one that was not able to open. Taking into account the favorable price and provided quality, I rate 9/10.

My main gripe with this hotel is that there is little to no leeway for any special requests! I asked for early check-in, answer is NO! I asked again and leveraged that I was a highly ranked Google reviewer, the answer again was a more light hearted NO! I arrived to check in at 1pm. Sorry room not available! I ended up changing in the disabled toilets and leaving my bags there as I had an event planned. I wasn't even able to shower after another unsatisfactory EasyJet flight! I returned back at midnight to eventually check in, finally shower and sleep. I also asked for an extended check-out as we had late flights. Answer was NO. I asked again and they provided me with a complimentary 60 minutes. Then then offered and tried to charge me a higher rate to prolong the stay - 60 Euros until 2pm. 120 Euros until 6pm. This part really was frustrating as I was happy to pay but not double my current nightly rate for a few hours! If they had no availability then that was a different story! Good points (because it's only fair) Breakfast was good for me personally as I'm not a fry-up guy but like to make toasted rolls/baguettes filled with lots of salad, olives and few slices of turkey. This did the job quite well. Rooms are average although the extra for the City view really is not worth it, you don't get much of a view at all! Beds and pillows are okay. Bathroom was clean. Would I visit this hotel again. In true Atrium Fashion style: Answer is No..

I stayed in many hotels in Budapest already and this is one the good ones. Although I can see many mixed reviews, but overall I am satisfied. Everything is great, from the checkin process to the checkout. The staff are great and friendly, the place is somewhat clean and okay for me. The bed is comfortable. The hotel also located at the central area which is Blaha Lujza ter and very close to the tram stops. Many shops and restaurants close by. If you’re muslim, halal place is just nearby too. One good thing is the free flow drinks - coffee, tea, juices at their breakfast area that you can enjoy all day long for free. The breakfast is good too, a few different menus everyday. Small minor issues probably the cleanliness of the room, it’s not the best but still quite okay, if you have problems with the cleanliness, you can just ask the staff to redo the cleaning. My room is quite big for me, I don’t know other rooms that people have been complaining about. And the area can be a bit scary sometimes but just be careful, nothing very serious actually happens.

The hotel is ideally located for easy access around the City. Bus and Tram stop outside or just a short walk into the centre. Rooms are small but tidy, although they are getting a bit dated, guess it keeps the price down. Tea and coffee in the room too, albeit with no milk? Breakfast was the usual, small euro sausage, eggs, beans etc. or the salads and meats or cheese. Unlimited coffee and juice, nice touch there. Staff all great from check in to check out. Definitely recommend it and hope to return again.

Location is great. Rooms are amazing, spacious although there are no outside windows. Only overlooking the atrium and reception area. Very clean and nicely decorated. Free coffee and juices all day long. Highly recommended

Hotel has a solid location in the middle of the city, excellent breakfast, it is very clean and has very friendly and helpful staff. The minus is the rooms are quite small and you have to pay extra for a room with a window(!!!), which means it is highly likely to get a fever or cold (like me after 2 nights) from the ventilation system that replaces the windows.

The hotel looks nice, rooms are big and comfortable and the location is great: around 15-20min walk to the main train station or to the center and a lot of public transport stations around the hotel. The only thing that would need improvement is the bathroom (at least in the room that I had) because it looked a bit old (cracks in the tales).

Reasonable for a 3 night stay. Pros: friendly staff, good location (quiet but the main nightlife and attractions between 15-40 mins walk away), clean, amazing water pressure in the shower. Cons: uncomfortable bed (squeaked on every slightest movement and not the comfiest), limited breakfast options, satellite TV was only Hungarian channels, no bar or internal entertainment.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Close to public transport and near enough to all the sights if you want to walk. Breakfast was a bit strange at times but there was plenty of choice. Free coffee and juices available all day which is a nice touch.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean and well presented always, and the staff were lovely and helpful. No matter the time of day there always appeared to be someone attending to the communal areas. The breakfasts were excellent and though served between 7-10:30am nothing ever seemed to run out! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of juices and pastries were available throughout the day for free, on a help yourself basis which was a lovely bonus. The room was clean and spacious, with a mini fridge, kettle and hair dryer. Only criticism being the lack of proper window (ours was opaque and did not open) which made it feel like night time no matter what time of day and meant there was no fresh air to the room. Despite this, the bathroom/wet room dried quickly which was unexpected. Our room was clearly an accessible room on the ground floor so this may differ room to room. Of course this isn’t something that can be helped and we enjoyed are stay nonetheless. Location was great as no more than a 30 minute walk to the Széchenyi Baths, Fashion Street, Riverside, and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Would definitely recommend! 😄

Great Hotel, very close to the centre of the city and cheap. The breakfast is continental and is all you can eat. The staff were very friendly and helped with English when we couldn't understand Hungarian.

Very clean place. Rooms are a bit small but well designed, you get all you need, including desk & easy chair. Nice bathroom with shower. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast has quite a range, bacon & eggs and fruits and cereals of all kinds, nice bread. This is a great place to stay, esp. with this price. They get you value for money. And it is so central. Metro, busses, tram all just around the corner. We even walked to a lot of attractions. Enjoy Budapest!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Atrium Fashion hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the rooms were modern and spacious. Towels were replaced regularly as was the bedding. The breakfast was of a very high standard and the staff worked very hard to keep it topped up and everything tidy. The hot food was different every day and we enjoyed it all. It was easy to get to the centre for shops and markets and there were also trams and buses right outside. If I had to pick fault it would be that the noise travels through the adjoining doors but this was only a problem on our final night when a snorer moves in next door. A great stay that I would recommend!

Very noisy hotel, most rooms don't have windows, was in room 414 which had a door going thru to the next room, you could here everything, moved us to room 401 which was just as bad, staff were good and some nice local restaurants near by!

This hotel was a bargain at the price we got it. The staff was friendly. I liked that the halls are not small but rather have a view of the entire hotel. The breakfast was really delicious with a wide range of options, good coffee and great juices. The only thing is that the window was looking at the hall and the curtains couls hardly be closed all the way so there is a bit of a privacy concern, but we managed to get it closed with a lot of trying.

The area is not luxurious but has great transport links and is quiet and peaceful. For those who want to spend time in the room relaxing there are better hotels .As a tourist going around the city is a great choice .

Best Location for tourists We reached on 12th January 2024 late hours, guy at reception was wonderful, soo helpful and good at his job. Girl in a day duty at reception was not professional, even not responding good.

The rooms are small and doors are not well soundproofed so can hear noise from the corridor when people walk past and talk. Can occasionally hear staffs working at breakfast area early in the morning due to the design of the building. Other than that good price, location and breakfast, will still recommend to others as long as you bring earmuffs to sleep!

This place is amazing. I love the interior of the hotel. This is not a high end hotel but what makes it amazing is the people that works there. Especially Tomash( I hope I got his name correctly) of the reception. Budget friendly hotel 👌🏽

We stayed at this hotel this weekend and it made our trip to be honest! I really highly recommend this hotel. It was in a great location to the bars and restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the tube station which is ideal when you are coming and going to the airport. The hotel itself is decorated so smart and it is extremely clean. It’s quiet and kept warm which is important considering Budapest can be quite cold during this time of year. We had the standard room and it was enough space for the two of us (we are a couple). The bathroom is modern and there are a lot of mirrors which is great for when you’re getting ready. The staff are friendly and they don’t bother you unless you need them. Really comfy beds and duvets! Honestly for the 4* rating that it has, and considering the price of the hotel.. we were shocked. Absolute bargain! I recommend it for people looking for somewhere close to the nightlife as it is very close by!

A little out of town, just how we like it. Quirky. Building and internals offer much of interest. Helpful front desk. Service with a smile. 'Smartphones' provided which can be taken out, to help you find your way around. A lovely hotel in a great city. Winning combination!

A clean and safe feeling hotel. Small and cosy. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English. Good shower. Shame we didn't have a window that would be my only comment.

Stayed here both times I have come to budapest and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Very kind and quick to cater to your needs. Cleaning staff also very very good and lovely. Breakfast is always interesting and exciting! Rooms are lovely and very good value for money! The wifi can be slightly slow, but the city is so amazing you never really use it anyway!!

It is a nice modern hotel with rooms facing inside the atrium, so no outside noise. We find a parking spot near by free over the weekends so it was great. Their breakfast was yummy and you could choose many things, we loved it. Small room, TV was not working, but we didn't come for that. The bed was hard so for me not very comfy to sleep. Overall we liked the hotel.

The breakfast was awesome! The main problem for us was that our room hasn't window and it was a bit small room. However our experience was overall good

A rather dismal location (& with no window in the room) but the hotel was compact, clean and had very good staff - efficient, courteous and pleasant at all times, - and I thank all for same. Buffet breakfast was good quality if just a little limited. The 10.30 (rather than the usual 10.00) finish for breakfast was appreciated being there on pleasure, not business. Our room was on the small side but acceptable. If in Budapest again I would not be avers to staying here again.

Good location, room was small and despite many trips to reception the staff did not fix air Conditioning which was broken the whole trip. In 30 degree heat not pleasant! Breakfast was ok with choices each day and staff friendly, nice touch of drinks 24/7 which made up for no water in the room Location was best thing close to walk to main areas

Lovely hotel in great location. The tram stopped nearby and there were several bus stops close to the hotel. However, we walked everywhere and it took us approximately half an hour to walk to the riverside area, the Szechenyi thermal baths and the Vorosmarty area christmas markets. There are lots of places nearby to eat ranging from a Chinese restaurant to MacDonalds, to the famous New York Cafe (massive queues) to a great Italian restaurant called Trattoria Venezia which is about 20 mins walk away. The breakfast selection was extensive and changed daily, all of it was delicious and plentiful. It was an unexpected bonus that guests are welcome to help themselves to tea, coffee, juice and water throughout the evening. The only criticism I have is that the rooms only have internal windows (due to the terraced nature of the hotel building), so you can't open a window for fresh air. This was an issue for me as I found the hotel unbearably hot and I had to keep the cold aircon switched on almost all the time, resulting in a very sore throat and a headache from the constant hum of the unit! Obviously this is something which can't be changed and it won't be an issue for many people, who may enjoy the tropical heat of this hotel! I still give the hotel 4 stars though as I liked everything else about it. It was clean, had everything you needed and the staff were friendly and helpful.

What a lovely place to stay. Staff are very welcoming and genuinely kind. They truly made me and my family feel at home. Rooms are exceptionally clean, very good breakfast. The hotel is quiet and the bed is comfortable, peaceful sleep guaranteed. Location is great as well, very close to the train station and a short walk away from all main attractions. Value for money.

The hotel is at very good spot close to all public transportation and city center. Good breakfast, clean rooms. In my opinion the bed mattress was a little uncomfortable. All staff was very friendly and helpful.

It is a good hotel. Great receptionists. It is in a good location, it is clean, breakfast is very good, and INTERNET IS GREAT!!! Internet is so strong, that it can be used on the street, 20 meters from the hotel. All was ok about my styay in this hotel. Just the thing that it has no possibility to open the window is a little bit disadvantage, but the ventilation and the air-conditioning is ok, so it is not a big deal. It is a quite place to sleep as well.

This is the 3rd time we are staying in this hotel. It is located in Blaha Luiz ter which is not the best central ter (aka square) but it has very conformable & easy public transport around! The staff is polite & helpful! They upgraded their breakfast, which is amazing!!! Great variety!! Rooms are simple and spacious! Will come again!

So I liked the room, it was okay, but the breakfast was terrible. The cutlery was dirty as well. The salami was smelling and the bread was mouldy. The coffee cup was dirty too.

  • 4/5 Magnus S. 1 year ago on Google
Modern clean room, a fair amount of noise from the atrium finds it's way into the room and walls between rooms are not the thickest. Breakfast was really good with a good selection. I would be happy to stay here again. __ I asked the guy in the reception for any good Hungarian food restaurants: We have a binder with a few pamphlets that you can have a look at, and he handed over the binder. I flipped trough the first two and then decided to ask Google...

The location is good and you have parking options: on the street (there is a tax, but someone told me that foreign cars don not have to pay) or a garage nearby (<1min walk). The breakfast is good and with enough options. The room is clean even though there is a strange smell in it. You are close to the subway (best option to go to the center).
