I came to Centrum with bilateral heel pain for two months. After the fifth treatment, I can feel the positive change. The pain changed continuously during the five-week treatment, where I felt better, but there were times when the pain intensified as a result of exercise. In March 2022, a sharp, stabbing pain appeared in my right heel as a result of a heavy load. At the time, I thought that if I rested, it would go away, but since the pain didn't go away and didn't decrease, I started reading up on things and already suspected that I might have plantar fasciitis. I remember browsing the Harmónia Centrum's website even then, and I knew I was going to visit them, but unfortunately I postponed the decision for a long time. Until October 2023, by which time the pain in my right heel had decreased somewhat, but overnight my left heel also started to hurt terribly. When I couldn't stand going down the stairs without support after a movie, I picked up the phone and asked for an appointment for shock wave treatment. Since then, I have made 5 suitable passes, and even two extra occasions for encores before the holidays. My therapist is Fanni Franciska Molnár, who is very cooperative and kind, always interested in how I am, and pays attention to me even during the treatment. The treatment itself is painful, but the pain in my right heel disappeared after the first (!) treatment (perhaps the inflammation was not so active there, so it didn't take much). The healing in my left heel was very fluctuating as a result of the treatment, sometimes as if it never hurt, sometimes worse than ever, but I was informed in advance that this was normal, so I never had to worry that something was not happening as it should. Thus, the stabbing and sharp pain in my left heel was replaced by a dull pain, which has already brought about a significant change in the quality of life, and an improvement is expected in the coming weeks, since the healing effect of the shock wave therapy continues for many weeks after that. I regularly do the stretching exercises I have learned, I bought comfortable medical slippers at home, and I also had custom insoles made for me at the Harmónia Center, so that I can support the recovery as much as possible. P.S. at the beginning of November I fell at home and fell on the vacuum cleaner with my knee, and since the pain did not decrease enough in two weeks, Fanni and I also shockwaved the knee area one time, the result of which was that after three days there was NO pain in my knee!
