Due to my dietary restrictions, i requested to change certain aspects of my dish and was surprised by how much attention they paid to my order; even going the extra mile to give me better recommendations. Alas, the food was absolutely amazing: both the goulash and beef stew were cooked to perfection :) my only regret is that I did not visit Parisi 6 more Special shout-out to Lika for her amazing service! truly the best service I have received in budapest so far :)

Delicious food though on the pricey side in Hungary but I think it is worth it. The waiter made a mistake with our order but was very apologetic about it and gave us some free shots which was great. Food came quick, wine was a great pairing, and the Dreher beer was fresh. Nice open air seating inside but the sidewalk seating is also nice on a warm evening. Can’t recommend enough!

Best slow cooked pork I ever had, and paired with innovative sauerkraut that's mixed with crunchy barley. Then there's the amazing chicken served with crepe immersed in this house made paprika sauce. The quality and the efforts put into the meats would have been hours. I can't figure out their secret to the chicken, braised then oven or boiled then pan fried but there's no signs of grilling. This is top notch Hungarian cuisine served with class. And the home made strudel is with cinnamon. And they have local brews. Plus, wonderful service and reasonable prices.

I've tried a lot of Goulash soup, Despite my love for Goulash soup, the one at Parisi 6 takes the cake for being the worst ever. If they can't get the basic dish right you can guess the rest. It's nothing but a tourist trap. I saw the manager approach tourists from Taiwan at the table in front of me, Shamelessly offering them free shots in exchange for a five-star review. That's how they must be keeping their ratings high. Don't be fooled; Budapest has plenty of better restaurants. Look for places where the locals eat, and you'll be fine. The best food experience in Budapest! Located in the calm street, you enjoy sitting there with great view. I got amazing juicy tartar, and crazy delicious duck leg with garnish. The duck leg was with crispy skin from outside and light meat from inside, well baked. Stuff was very careful, attentive, they recommended me great Hungarian wine. Prices in this place are much lower than this taste of food deserve. my best recommendations and I'm definitely dreaming to return back and try something else. Notice, that they don't work every day 😁

What we really liked is the service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and kept us informed about why our food took so long (over an hour) and apologised for it. About the food: the tartar was very good and the salad not bad, but the duck was just average. Unfortunately, the beef wasn’t good at all, it tasted like cheap canned meat and the potatoes were not cooked. The house wine was average, but understand that for this price it is more or less what you can expect. In conclusion, the fact it took long to serve the food is ok, everyone can have a bad day, but the beef was just not edible.

Would highly recommend coming here for some fantastic Hungarian cuisine, we had the sausage starter followed by the beef stew, pork steak and paprika chicken. It was delicious! I would recommend to book a table in advance as we saw many walk-ins turned away.

The paprika chicken was well flavored and balanced, the potatoes dumplings not too heavy, chicken tender and crispy skin. The apple Strudel is absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had on this trip. Not too sweet, just enough tartness to contrast aganist the sauce and whip cream, yet very cinnamon.

We came 1h before opening time, and instead of turning us away Boris welcomed us at his restaurant to have a drink and wait for the food. We had a chance to chat with him and enjoy his vast experience in food and was so generous to share his ideas and cooking books recommendations. The wines were very pleasant, and the food was simply cooked to perfection. Although the dishes are simple but we were very happy with the quality of the food and service. For a foodie like myself, I can genuinely say this restaurant was the highlight of my trip, food and hospitality wise. I am certain, the next visit to Budapest I will visit Párisi 6 again and again.

Best place for Hungarian food in the area. There was a local standing outside with his family and he mentioned to my friends and I the chicken dish is the best. He ranked it as second best Hungarian restaurant but the other one we looked at had pretty much the same menu. Had a delicious, comfortable dinner here in Parisi 6. The pork neck is divine! All dishes are delicious, we love the duck leg and ratatouille too. The service is excellent. Staff are friendly. I recommend you make a reservation as it is a small cozy restaurant.

Good quality food. We really enjoyed the goulash and the chicken dishes. The beer was also on point. Waitress really kind and quickly set us up at a table.

We came to this restaurant after a friend recommended it to us. I am so glad that they did, as this place was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for better dinner for night 1 in Budapest. The chicken paprika, and beef goulash was on point🙂. So was the wine.

Had an excellent dinner at Parisi 6! Very attentive service and we met a lovely, patient server named Zita who was helping us split the bill. Enjoyed the food and everything. Will come back again!

Service is excellent as others have noted. Food is authentic and delicious, prices are higher but about the same as most eating spots in the center, portions are small to medium -- but with one app, one starter, and one main we fed two people without being too stuffed. Sausage selection is charcuterie with thick slices and a pate, lighter dish. Recommend as a food stop along the way, not just the only place to try goulash and traditional dishes! Also note they do politely ask guests for Google reviews so that may account for the larger number of reviews. They also include a 10% service fee.

I gotta say.. service was amazing! ❤️ I loved the Paprika Chicken recommended by the nice blonde girl who was responsible with the food order at our table. The positive vibe and the overall atmosphere makes this place worth visiting. You’ll experience an interesting blend of traditional food with modern influences and you will definitely want to revisit it. Wine selection is very nice and my rose was pretty good.

The service is what makes this place special. The menu is limited but carefully crafted to give you a full flavor tour of Hungary in one spot. Goulash on their outdoor patio seating is a must. Keep in mind there is a 10% service fee added to your bill so it does add up! They also ASK for reviews and confirm you have added one in order to give you a free shot on the house, so it may account for the high number and quality of reviews.

Gorgeous food and good beer, just a tad slow if you're in a rush which we were, took longer than you'd expect. Had the paprika chicken which was delicious although no spice at all, and the guys had duck and sausage, loved them all. No sides needed and a good thing as they don't have any!

What a pleasant surprise, right in the center but not the regular over tourist oriented restaurant, amazing service, not too crowded, quite sitting even outside, we tasted few dishes and had a hard time to decide what was the best one.. we reserved a table, and it was waiting for us as we requested.. all tables were reserved.. so make sure to book in advance.. and don’t forget to leave room for the delicious desserts.. This will without doubt become our go to restaurant in the center.. Thank you for a lovely evening

We walked in, without reservation and were lucky to get the table. We ordered pork neck "steak" and it was delicious! Place is small but very cosy. Service very nice and professional. Highly recommended

I loved the look of the resturant as soon as I walked in and the host was fantastic. This was the best duck I have ever had and I will definitely be going back soon. Prices are excellent and wine selection is also very good. All around amazing experience

Very good duck leg and apple strudel love their homemade ice tea as well. Service is very good and very cozy atmosphere. Recommend to book table especially for the weekend.

First time visiting Budapest and found this gem thanks to all the raving reviews. Great dinner and wonderful wine recommendation. Love the chicken - crispy and the pasta roll was a great surprise.

The food was very good. Definitely recommend it! Apple strudel was my favorite. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our time here. We came here mainly for the duck and goulash and it didn't disappoint. Both goulash and duck confit was very well cooked. Definitely order it!

Great music, great food, fair price and very cosy. I read a review saying that the music was a bit loud, but I think it was on point. Unfortunately, I didn't try the duck which looks like the most exciting dish, but the pork was also very tasty.

I would totally recommend this place. Food is very tasty and service is super quick. We tried the salami mix as appetiser and the gourmet stew and everything was delicious. Also, people are welcoming and nice. I really appreciate it did not feel like a touristic place.

The best restaurant we have been to in our visit to Budapest. Great food, great service. We ordered the beef stew and duck. Both were excellent.
