The hostel is well kept and in a quiet area of Budapest. The staff wasn't there but did an decent job communicating via email to make sure all was good. The only issue I had was that when I arrived, the doors were locked. Had it not been for another guest, I wouldn't have gotten in until extremely late.

I dearly loved this hostel but I suspect most travelers to Budapest will have one issue, and that is location. It is easy access to the airport but quite a ways from town, an hour by bus. The owner is wonderful though and responsive to emails. She also speaks a number of languages well. She recommended a restaurant, printed my boarding pass, chatted with me about my career, and even made my bed when I arrived. Small rooms were nice and two facilities so I never had to wait. If you like quiet hostels out of the party scene with only a couple rooms, you'll enjoy this hostel.

Perfect place to spend few nights in Budapest, especially if you have a flight from the airport because it is close to it and reachable with the bus. To go to city centre, I recommend to take a bus + train, it takes around 30 minutes. Ági is very interesting person, very friendly and ready to help. She gave us a lot of useful tips about the nearby restaurants, ticket machines, transport etc. When you see all the notes in the hostel, you can see Ági knows a lot about customer service. Everything is pretty much clear, you got the real information in the real time, you can buy some things in the hostel like postcards, some beverages etc. if you forgot to bring it... People who are low budget travellers will love this place and I will be definitely back :)

Very nice little hostel. We stayed there for a night because we had to take a plane early in the morning. The host arranged for a taxi to come and pick us up early. The host is very friendly and helpsome. We can recommend the hostel.

A lovely little hostel! Very cosy, small and out of the way but still easily accessible by a short (and very cheap) train journey to town. Lovely fully kitted out kitchen, very clean throughout. Beware that drunkenness isn't really allowed but discretion covers many sins

We stayed here about five years ago. The location is the only issue, really handy for the airport, but once you get the hang of travelling into the city centre it's no bother. Agi, as a host, is so generous and helpful for tourists who don't know the city, so it's a good place to stay from that point of view.

It was almost 8 years ago that i visited this tiny hostel with a friend. If i dont remember wrong, the owner was named Agni. I dont even remember how i found it, but we sure had a special experience during our week long stay! Arriving late at night was the first challenge and when we forgot to step out from the train in the correct stop on one of the evenings, we got stranded out on the way to airport- if there wasnt a taxi driver to save us from that dark evening with no batteries on our phones, we would be in some trouble. I will never forget the cherry cake the owner made us from the cherry trees in the garden. I think budapest is an underrated city and this place proofs already my feelings.
