Most trainers are actually really nice and helpful, and even give special attention when necessary as all the classes are in Hungarian. Equipment and the facilities are ok too, though a bit on the smaller side for the price. But the reception staff and rules are just disappointing. On my first day, I really wanted to have a quick look at the gym before I paid the highest fee in town. After I asked, the receptionist- and I'm not kidding- rolled her eyes at me and then asked me to just pay for the membership. I insisted that I would like to see the gym before I pay, and after a while a really nice colleague came and gave me a quick tour and I paid the fee and joined the gym. But this whole interaction and the eye-roll left a very sour taste. On another occasion, during the tram ride to the gym I realized I left my wallet at home with my gym card in it, I had registered to an early morning class and I had no time to go back. I had my passport on me and I was sure that they could just check my name ( as they have done in other gyms in the city) and let me in. However, when I got there they asked me to pay the fee for my lost card, but my card was not lost, and I didn't actually have any money on me. They just pointed to the rules and that was it, there was no attempt of trying to help or figure this issue out, there was no real costumer service or care for a returning costumer. After my membership is up, I don't think I will be returning.
