Before
you
enter
the
Blue
Bird
Cafe,
stop
and
carefully
rethink
your
decision.
There
are
several
cafes
nearby,
so
turn
around
and
walk
towards
them.
If
it's
a
nice
spot
of
breakfast
you're
looking
for,
this
is
not
the
place
to
find
it.
When
we
first
entered,
we
were
lured
in
by
a
smiling
member
of
staff.
She
invited
us
to
sit
by
directing
us
to
the
seating
area.
We
entered,
expecting
to
see
a
free
table,
however,
there
wasn't
a
single
one
in
sight.
Wondering
what
to
do,
we
stood
around
awkwardly
for
a
moment,
a
little
confused
as
to
why
we'd
been
guided
into
a
cafe
with
no
spare
seats.
For
some
reason,
perhaps
we
were
still
lacking
caffeine
and
common
sense
at
this
point,
we
loitered
for
several
minutes
until,
by
chance,
a
table
became
available.
Once
seated,
we
sat
for
fifteen
minutes
until
a
member
of
staff
finally
came
to
take
our
order.
But,
first,
they
made
it
very
clear
that
we
had
inconvenienced
them
by
giving
us
a
big
sigh
and
a
good
dose
of
attitude.
In
the
time
we'd
waited,
we
had
tried
signalling
members
of
staff
several
times,
and
even
pushing
the
service
button
attached
to
the
table,
but
we
seemed
to
be
invisible.
In
the
meantime,
everybody
else
in
the
cafe
received
service,
including
a
couple
who
were
sat
adjacent
to
us
who
had
entered
five-minutes
after
us.
If
the
cafe
had
been
under-staffed,
I
would
completely
understand
that
it
might
take
a
little
longer
to
take
orders,
but
the
cafe
was
very
well
staffed.
If
fact,
it
was
so
well
staffed
a
number
of
them
had
time
to
check
their
text
messages
and
WhatsApps
while
they
were
standing
around.
When
we
eventually
did
receive
food,
it
was
cold
and
disappointing.
Eggs
Benedict
is
a
classic
breakfast
dish
and,
usually,
you
can
expect
a
couple
of
slices
of
freshly
toasted
bread,
a
couple
of
slices
of
bacon
or
ham,
a
poached
egg
or
two,
and
a
good
coating
of
hollandaise
sauce.
That
would
have
been
great,
but
that's
not
what
arrived
on
our
plates.
If
you
order
this
dish,
expect
a
lonely
slice
of
bread,
one
slice
of
cold
ham,
and
a
strange
mayonnaise-based
sauce.
Savour
the
egg,
it's
the
best
bit.
My
advice
would
be
to
save
your
forints,
or
take
them
elsewhere.
The
attitudes
of
staff
in
this
establishment
are
appalling,
and
based
on
our
experience
the
food
isn't
much
better.
