Amazing bar in the Budapest downtown. Only had drinks there but next time will definitely tru some food. The atmosphere is great, it is quite eccentric but very homely, on the gallery you can sit on the floor even as it’s covered in carpet! Love the decor and real plants too. The staff is very pleasant, the prices are great (650 huf for a pint of lager), overall highly recommend and will definitely come back!

A chill cafe bar ... imagine a bohemian answer to Trader Vics! Luckily, if you're not a cat lover, the feline theme is not central to what this place is about. The Asian feline idols were cleverly purchased from an art importer that was closing down. Everything about this place, from the artwork, to the dimmed down lights and stripped bare brick walls with vaulted ceilings and from the eclectic music mix (reggae rhythms, Asian and arabic strings, tribal beats, jazz, rock and anything in between) to the reasonably priced vegan food and local wine, makes for a chilling ambiance and an enjoyable time!

Honesty, out of 42 countries, it is the best laid back, hospitable, comfy pub with a superb selection of locally made alcohol (20%made out of elderflower, raspberry and such) + much needed simple yet incredibly useful salty snacks (e.g. cheesey pogacsa) + the seating composition is relaxed, varied & comfy.

Lovely vegetarian pub! There was a small menu but with a good variety of options - we enjoyed the quesadilla and burrito. Friendly service and atmospheric decor - I would recommend coming here :)

Nice relaxing space for beer and conversation. Great range of drinks and great staff. Nice and arty and bohemian. The upstairs is very cosy. You are requested to remove your shoes. Well worth checking out if you don't want a rowdy evening, but want to enjoy company.

Nice food, really nice staff. The food was "international" (of such thing exists?), vegetarian and I really enjoyed it. Zero Hungarians though, except for the staff. Why don't they come I wonder? Oh and their toilet was funny, that's why four stars.

Great food (specially the quesadilla) and my personal favourite drink - the ginger hot pot! couldn't imagine a better non alcoholic winter drink. The ambience is suave and cosy with engaging music - includes vintage rock & roll, Hungarian folk and more! the main manager/bartender was extremely helpful and genial (we were new foreigners and a pain I imagine). Very fun and homey - definitely going back to this one <3

Expensive but great. Good beer selection, not a craft heaven, but you have variety. They have a pillow place upstairs a very cosy no shoe experience. Overall great, not a place to get hammered, but a place to have conversations.
