Staff is the best I ever seen in budapest, kind, cautious and super friendly. I felt I was eating at my grandfather's house. Food is a incomparable topic. Tastes, technique, preparation, presentation is all 5 stars. It is a perfect place to came with family, friends, lovers, alone just go and eat. I tried 6 dishes and each one gave me a different sensation. I was missing to eat good food. I always look for tastes what hard to make at home and they have courses what are the best in kind. For example the hummus is a bit different everywhere but this was the best I tried in Budapest. Authentic Lebanese food, welcoming staff. The restaurant is a little expensive (relative to Budapest, for me coming from the US the prices were very comfortable) but the food quality is premium. As a middle eastern person (Assyrian) I've had this food many times, this restaurant does it just right. If you want to have some of the best flavors at a boutique restaurant, this is the place for you. Don't miss out on the knaffe, also I recommend getting the lamb sausages if you want your meal to be a little more heavy, the shish taok was also amazing. We were hosted by Salem and Qais, very warm and hospitable people!!

This is fancy looking Lebanese restaurant in the old town district with beautiful decor and ambience. It's quite popular. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The food selections are wide and they serve the meals warm. The entrees were fabulous and tasty, my favorites were the falafel and the fries! They were crispy and crunchy, which is rare in Budapest. However, the grilled platter was a disappointment, because we were so thrilled about the starters, we expected the main platter to be great, but the meats were dry and didn't have much flavor unfortunately 😔 overall, the food and experience were good, and I gave a 3 star instead a 4, because it's not fair for customers to pay almost 17000huf for one main dish and leave disappointed. We could not have wished for a better way the round up our first visit to Budapest. One of the best dining experiences in a long time. The staff seem to have a great time and that reflected on the vibe in the restaurant. Special thanks to Louay, Ali and Asal for the excellent service. The servers where really kind and explained the menu very well. There also was a guy playing music which really made a good ambiance. The food, the wine and the tea combined with the shisha, all was perfect. Definitely our first dinner when we visit Budapest again!

Our expectations were a little bit higher. However, overall it is a good restaurant to eat lebanese cousine. Prices are acceptable. They have a great shisha bar also.

Absolutely incredible experience. The food is authentic, affordable and delicious. Having grown up in the Middle East, I can definitely vouch for the quality of the food here. We ordered mixed grills and some cold mezze. The hummus is to die for. Mixed grill pretty large so come go hungry. Well done guys and please keep up those high standards.

It was one of the best food places I've ever visited. The food combinations with the spices and everything was an absolute delight. I'll definitely visit again if I return to Budapest. The staff was very nice and friendly, it was a pleasure to be there and eat there.

This restaurant offers high quality Lebanese food, combined with amazing service in a really good atmosphere. The only drawback is that this place is a bit pricey, but it is really worth for dining once during your visit in Budapest. 82€ for 1 cocktail, 2 beers, 1 salad, 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, 1 dessert and the portions were adequate!

We had a wonderful dinner at Byblos. The dishes were very tasty and came in a generous portion. The staff were very kind and attentive, we had a great experience with Barbi and Tamás. We will definitely come back! Thank you.

It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it. It was really delicious. The staff were also very nice and helped us choose our dishes. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you want to eat Lebanese food for the first time (like me).

Good food and nice staff speaking English very well. The interior design is too crowded on my taste and the air condition bothered us a lot during the dinner, but overall it has been decent. Also, quite pricey

Excellent Lebanese food in the heart of Budapest. Service and atmosphere were great and food was also really good. I totally recommend this place and I had a really nice experience. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because, living in the Middle East and eating this type of food frequently, the eggplants missed a little bit of smoke flavour and the hummus, while creamy and high quality, didn’t taste like hummus prepared on the spot. Additionally the kofta was slightly overcooked. But in my opinion it’s still a place worth to visit and I had a great time!

Last week I went to Byblos in the hunt of nice arabic cuisine and I must say it sidnt disappoint me even for a pinch. The location is very nice,. walking from Metro or bus station, quite in the centre of the city. It has two storied sitting space with interior/decor gives ethnic arabic/Lebanese touch. I ordered Mohamara as starter which was companied by bread slices. Its similar to hummus texture wise but taste wise quite diff as adds a pinch of spice flavours and goes perfectly with bread (which comes included). For main course I requested the staff (Balazs) who was very focussed on listening to my criteria and suggested me to go for Kofta, which was fantastic decision as the yummy, juicy kofta made my evening. Both Louay and Balazs are very cordial and showing great hospitality to all guests, a must have for fine dining. Overall, loved the place and absolutely recommended to visit, I will do again.

We ate dinner at this restaurant on New Year's Day. The food was fantastic! Very fresh and tasty 😋 I loved my pomegranate quinoa salad. My husband and son loved what they ordered as well. The service was good and our waiter was very friendly.

Food was really delicious. I was there with my friends we have ordered several dishes and lived all of them including dessert Kanufa.

Highly recommended!! Amazing food, good portions and a good variety of options. The ambience is really nice as well as the staff.
