Astonished by the amount of snow I saw today. Zero expectations before I arrived. Try it.

Stunning views of the city to be found. Plenty of cafes and bars along route. Clearly marked trails. Multiple play parks and toilet facilities. A brilliantly kept park which is easily accessible from central Budapest by bus.

Very nice place for picknic and outdoor activity. This time they had good parking with enough area and lots, though understandably not free during weekend. Overall my experience was good. I would still recommend to put clear direction signs for entrance parkings.

There should be public transportation to Normafa, or accessing it from Zugliget. But you can also cycle to the park. With a mountain bike you can try the challenge, it's really amazing 🤩. Those gradients will for sure leave your legs Stinging and you gasping for breath. Though I did it on a road bike which I wouldn't recommend, some of those decends got lots of uneven surface. But generally the veiw is amazing once you are at the top. It's worth visiting.

If you want to enjoy the snow as in the pictures, this is not the time. Better to visit during the peak winter times when show is there. Else if you want to spent some time with the kids in the park or to have a walk in a calm and quiet place, this is it.

They have snow at the play ground. And we saw a lost kitty cat.

Nice park with a really good view and some fasfoods and restaurant, possibility of grill and also playground for a little. It's also good for a walk, you can visit the Erzsébet lookout point or use the sitting lift to get up to the ridge.

Definitely worth visiting. Fresh air, spacious, calm place with barbecue possibilities and car parking. Easy to get there with a bus too. A little bit far from the center, but this is the key 🫰🏼

Can be accessed by public transport. Beautiful panoramic view, perfect place for hiking or picnic. Also there are playgrounds for children, public toilets, fountains with drinking water.

A beautiful Park. I just walked part, but it is really big. Trees, grass, play ground, bathroom, places to eat or for do your own grill. Inside the park it is not allowed cars or public transportation, but I fined out a golf cart for go to Elizabeth Tower 🗼 just beautiful.

A beautiful budapest sightseen from normafa! You could do picnic, barbeque or just chill with your family and friends. They have some food corner but prepare cash money cos when I went there they didn’t accept card, cash only!

It is truly a blessing that it is so close to the city. It also has a car park. Especially for night walks, it is a very pleasant environment in touch with nature. You can also find coffee and food places.

Normafa is one of the must-see places for nature-lovers who visit Budapest. It is just an hour distance from city center. The park has pretty everything for vacation, places to fire, to sit and eat, play with friends. You can also bring your pets. But I couldn't find a water source here. Better to bring with yourself.

Very nice to visit. You can make a fire and cook on your own for free over there. Very green and chilled, pretty nice views on the hill as well. The downside is that there's no water anywhere around, hence can get pretty hot without relieve in the summer.

A forest paradise just one bus ride away from the centre of the city. What more to ask for. The views on Budapest are breathtaking, and the walks on the many tranquil paths extremely relaxing. In summer I find it much less busy than during spring and autumn, so it is rather peaceful (and cool, with all the trees). Can't see why not to come in all the seasons.
