    I booked a trip to the airport, got confirmation and was charged for it. No one contacted me to let me know the car would NOT be sent! I had to contact them, they kept me awake waiting for them to find someone to pick us up at the hotel. Then no ono showed up, I received no feedback and they disappeared and don't send me my refund!!! I was charged, no one showed up and they disappeared!!

    NEVER EVER AGAIN! Pick up was 3 HOURS!!! before departure for a 35min ride and we didn‘t even had any luggage. They decided per email, the phone number the bored girl gave us at the Airport, wasn‘t answered. The driver on our way back was very rude. Treating his passengers like cattle. I recommend not to Go with this Company! There are public buses and taxis taking you to the City.

    NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! First of all, the driver on our way back was very rude. Most important to him was his own comfort. Having enough space for himself in the front. Next thing was the pick up time… 3 HOURS before takeoff!!!! For a 40 minutes drive and we didn‘t even had to check in any luggage. You cannot decide the pick up time at all… they do it depending on their interest of profit. And by the way… Nobody was picking up the phone for making the appointment for the return ride… we had to do it online… not like the bored girl told us when we bought the tickets at the Airport. I will not honour that they speak english… it’s normal working at an Airport in Europe! I woulndn‘t Even give one star for this s*** if possible!!!!!

    No! No! No! Almost everybody working for this company is either bored to death or rude. The rides take to much time playing uber pool, picking up or droping everybody anywhere. Our pickup time was 3 hours before departure, having no check in luggage. The ride took 40minutes, like expected. Now we do have a lot of time to spend at the airport. Even the phone number for booking the return ride wasn't answered. We had to do it on... the send you an Email and decide when you will have to leave... never, ever again!

    Terrible service. And even worse customer service. The driver was abusive to both my mother and aunt (both over 60 years of age). He dropped another passenger off to an incorrect destination and threw him out despite his protests that he didn’t reach his destination. Upon arrival to their destination, my mother and aunt have had their bags launched deep into the boot by the driver’s erratic driving. When they reached their destination he refused to get their bags from the boot & had my mother with a bad back have to climb in to retrieve the heavy bags herself. All the while he was using vulgar language to denigrate them. All in all it was a horrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to inflict themselves with this awful service much less their loved ones. That was one thing but what followed then was really infuriating as when we contacted the customer service to inform them of this terrible employee. We had also changed our address on the booking prior to this trip and it was only when I was contacting the customer service about the terrible experience had that to my horror I realized the actually messed this up aswell. And didn’t change the return leg of the journey. Something that if I hadn’t have contacted them to complain would have led to a missed flight and been completely a result of their incompetence. When we got in touch with their web chat.. it initially seemed as though they were very empathetic and willing to compensate us with a refund. Even asking for our bank details via the website chat. However as the days went on into weeks and we didn’t receive compensation for this we messaged again. And then they informed us that we won’t get refunds and that this is only communicated via their email. So we registered an account about all this to their email to which they used stalling tactics telling us they don’t have to reply for 30 days but our complaint is being processed. Alas now they tell us that we are not due a refund. So from what we can see their idea of customer service is to hurl abuse at customers, have pension age women climb into the boot and carry heavy bags by themselves. Then promise a refund to keep you quiet while hoping you just forget about it. Trash service.

    We ordered an airport transfer for my brother and his family. We asked before how to book to make sure they have a car seat for my 4 year old niece. On the trip from the airport to the city there was no extra seat. We complained through their chat and they promised us to make sure that there will be one on the way back. Turns out they didn't do that. Again no seat. I cannot recommend it if you travel with children. I recommend taking the 100E bus if you need to go to the city center.

    The Return pick up was very bad. We were 11 people and they sent to us 2 mini bus and the drivers drove too fast and not safe. They were unfriendly too because we sad to slow down. It was the date 11.11.2023 The pick up of 16:50 from Gozsdu Hotel. I hope my review get heard and never again happen with other people. The photos are from the busses that picked us up.

    Super bad experience! We ordered a spot for 4 adults and 3 infants incl car seats. Turns out the bus we had to wait 20 minutes for couldn’t fit 3 infant seats. So we had to take our children without the seats because there was no other option. Besides that it took super long until we arrived to the hotel because we first had to wait for 20 min for the bus, another 15 min until all the passengers boarded at different terminals, and then it took long until all the hotels were reached. So all in all 1,5h from airport arrivals to the city. It’s a joke. I don’t recommend this company and I would absolutely not book it again. I am stupid, I should have read the reviews before.

    WORST shuttle ever. Do not waste your money. Our hotel confirmed out pick up. We realized our apartment was a block away from office. We changed location well before 36 hours before pick up. ( 1 block ) We had too much luggage to walk. For my mothers pick up at 3 am they were an hour late. Was about to get her taxi. For my return pick up at 6:40 they never showed up …. Highly stressful, I was travelling with a child. Thank God a taxi drove by and I was able to get it. Got to the airport barely 1 hour before. No apology, no refund. Was waiting and assuming they would refund as I emailed my hotel confirmation with pick up address. Wasted money on my ticket and a taxi. O stars.

    We had a good experience - December 2022. Booked for 2 at 3.30am from District V. I booked this service before checking the reviews and then the morning of freaked out because the reviews were so bad but we had no issues. I also had booked an extra 30 minutes early in case it didn't work out. The bus came within 2 minutes of the confirmation time. I had double checked that I had a confirmation code (may be the reason others had issues with bookings not existing?) . Our lovely elder gentleman bus driver helped us with our bags, was friendly. I felt safe with him and his driving and we got to the airport at the expected time. I was impressed with the company when another passenger didn't show up on time the driver got out of the car and went walking around to look for him for 5 minutes. I thought this was great service. The latest we picked up a passenger was 5 minutes late (likely due to the no show). I think it's probably better price to catch the 100E bus from the city and quite safe even at 3 in the morning but we found this door to door shuttle service to be exactly as we expected.

    I used the MiniBUD shuttle service several times. It is very convenient especially when you have bags: door to door service. The staff are very polite: the front desk staff speak decent English and drivers always help with the luggage. Most of all, the price is reasonable and affordable.

    My sling bag fell in between the seats and it had my Passport, 2 cellphones, credit cards and cash. At 1st it was frustrating to call the Call Center and to be told that there's no way of contacting the driver until he returned to the Airport. An hour later we received a Call that the Bag had been found & the Driver was on his way to deliver it. What a Relief, Everything was still inside. I'll give miniBUD 10 stars & the ppl of Hungary for their Honesty & other passengers🥰

    Terrible service. Lied and said was cheaper than taxi, and about wait time. 8 mins turned into 20. Driver switched the drop order as well. Not to mentioned terrible shifting in manual transmission (poor clutch, poor us 🤢🤮🥴). Train would have been faster “door to door”. Don’t waste your time, don’t waste your money, don’t listen to the guy at the counter. Listen to these reviews.

    we booked the shuttle for 4.10am pick up for our flight. the shuttle came 20' late, no call or msg in advance to inform of the late arrival. this resulted in us booking another taxi. very disappointed. The shuttle came and the driver said he has a different time?! do not book this company. the phone number listed on the website cannot be called either. very frustrating.

    I booked online prior to my trip. The counter was right in the baggage claim area as it said. They spoke perfect English and directed me to the outside counter. I waited for about 10 minutes for the van and while I waited, I booked my return from the hotel. The only thing was, I couldn't pay for it then, I had to pay on the morning I arrived, but it was really no bother at all. The van was full, and I was the second stop - right outside the door of my hotel. The driver was very helpful and courteous. I was picked up at my hotel at 5:40 am right on time and again, the driver was very courteous and helpful. He walked me in to the area so I could pay and then directed me to where I needed to go. I would definitely use this service again.

    If your objective is to be fast at the airport, this is not the right company; the Mini Bus has to get fiilled up, and it travels all over budapest picking up people before heading towards the airport. Same is when you want to go to the City coming from the airport; the Mini Bus waits for the Mini Bus to get full...and the divers are not polite...

    I strongly advise against using this transport company. The bus dropped us off 40 minutes from the address we had given to the reception of the MiniBud company at the airport. The driver was extremely dangerous driving and dropped us off after dropping off all the locals. (i.e. 1h30 later, actual journey: 30min) When we expressed our dissatisfaction at the reception of Minibud, the employee told us that it was our fault because we should have checked the address with the driver.. AVOID

    Terrible service. I advice you to take a normal taxi ( e.g. bolt) instead of ordering MINIBUD. I am using it quite often for my business trips to go to the airport. Almost every time I have a bad experience. They collect a lot of people from city center and completely fill the car with approx. 8 people. The normal way to the airport with taxi will take approx. 30-40 minutes from the city center. Minibud trip takes 1 hour so please consider it, because sometimes you will wait for someone who might be late. Last time we waited for a passenger for a long time. Other passengers were nervous because they were afraid to miss their flight. The driver constantly called someone, spoke very load (almost screamed) in Hungarian and explained nothing. He ignored all the questions in English and just continued to scream. You can also lost a lot of time by collecting people in the city center in the morning just because you got stuck behind the garbage truck. When you arrive to the airport and want to go to the city center the waiting time can take more than 20 minutes (usually it is like 5 minutes for the normal taxi, for example Bolt). Maybe even the regular bus to Deák Ferenc ter will bring you faster to the city center.

    Skip this. Especially if you are staying in district V, the public bus that goes specifically to the airport is honestly much more reliable. Waited a very long time to get our shuttle into town from the airport, and on the way back had a suspicion and called and they had no reservation and no availability despite paying for a return trip and putting in our departing flight information upon booking. Not worth it.

    They advertize this shuttle service as a high level service. But usually you have to wait a lot (avarege 20-40 minutes) because of the bad logistics. But the price is high, same like any taxi. Today I had to wait with others more than 1 hour watching the monitor . The lady at the desk tried to help us but the system wrong itself. Sometimes the drivers are rude with tourists and not speaking any languages or just on a basic level. Do not recommend them. Better to take a taxi or a public bus. ( Buses are even faster and cheaper)

    Unacceptable - Waiting 45 minutes for the return to the airport. We had to take a taxi so as not to miss the plane. An email was sent to customer service who offered to reimburse us. After which, no response and no refund despite numerous reminders. Absolutely avoid! They are thieves.

    This is based on my latest experience using this service. We had to wait a whole hour before our driver arrived, I am still willing to put this down to traffic OK. But then, I don't know if this was because I'm Hungarian or a woman or both, I asked the driver something and he responded incredibly rudely and impatiently, dismissively, which I am no longer used to, not living in the country. The kind of tone a jerk would use with someone they have known a long time. Not only that, we both had to take our suitcases out of the boot ourselves, no help whatsoever. Also no English on the driver's part and my partner is English. I don't expect a conversation but the basics at least besides hello.

    We paid for this service when we arrived on the Thursday and was picked up from the place we were staying at. We had no complaints throughout the whole journey until we arrived at the airport where the man asked to see our receipt that we had been given. He confirmed it was fine so we headed into the airport where he caught up with us to tell us that we needed to follow him downstairs. We were taken to the desk of miniBUD and they were asking for proof of purchase but wouldn’t explain what the hold up was, every time we asked the driver he said ‘one second’. Luckily we had kept the receipt from the purchase and they said we could leave. If we had not kept the receipt for this, after looking at other reviews on here we believe they would have tried to charge us more money, do not use this company!!

    This is really a good option if we want to travel from BUD airport to City. Book in advance which is helpful. The apps are not the best. It has some technical bugs. The customer care support is great. Always there to support in case of any issue.

    We paid €500 from the airport from Budapest to Vienna, when the driver dropped us off, my boyfriend dropped his sim card on the seat and while he was looking for the card, the driver came and pushed him away and said that it was not his problem. Also, my boyfriend forgot his sweatshirt in the van. The driver was very rude, he didn't want to communicate with us with the excuse that he doesn't speak English, but in Budapest he spoke it. He was driving van number 122. Bypass this, better take the bus wherever you go.

    Ordered the return transfer from the city to the airport, upon my request to set up a convenient pick-up time I was rejected. As I decided to cancel the order and look for the service which fits me better I was not warned that service fees are not reimbursable. Eventually service agent canceled my order and afterwards referred to their T&C and sent me off when I came for my money. Total disappointment.

    Unfortunately we prepaid for our return to the airport and while we had called for an appointment at our hotel they just never showed up. Not only was the money essentially stolen from us, but we missed our flight whenever we paid for new tickets. There were also the expenses for the taxi we finally took. A real inconvenience.     The river and shuttle itself was absolutely ok in our case. What made me angry was that the lady at the counter told me it will be 5min waiting time. It was 45min at the end. Price same like Bolt taxi so you make a choice.

    Absolutely unreliability and makes false statements . We were a group of 5. They said their 8 seater car comes quickly and their will be max 1 more. When shuttle came their were 3 other passengers . 2 people have to uncomfortably sit in the front along with the driver. It’s much better to NOT trust them and take taxi.

    No complaints at all. 15 minute wait outbound, none at all on return. My tip is that you have to check the screens at the minibus desk in arrivals, just inside the pick up point, you don't just get on the next minibus available. Also, do remember to confirm your return details at least 24 hours before your departure date, you can do this online. £5 each way is good value.

    Slags Told me 5 minute wait, waited 1 hour. Asked for refund slag on the desk kept saying the bus was coming which was very concerning. Would not trust them to pick me up so asked for a refund again after about 10 attempts was finally given my money back. Get the bus into the centre instead it's about 5 euros per person.

    It is a great option mostly if arriving at midnight 🕛 at the counter where we bought the tickets were very helpful and kind but the driver’s service were fully awful, it was an elderly man that was rude, disrespectful and instead of following the route according to the addresses gave preference to a local young woman. Also the service offers to bring you at the front door but instead he did left us two blocks away arguing and yelling it was the instructions in his computer even thoug our ticket has the full address… THINK ABOUT TWICE BEFORE BUYING or maybe it was just the driver

    I used miniBUD service 3 times during my stay in Hungary, twice for return trip from the airport to Budapest Deli and vice versa, and the last one was from an address in Budapest to the airport. And I can totally say that I’m a very satisfied customer. The customer service at both their desk at the airport and on the chat on their website were amazing. They went all out to make sure I got to be on the shuttle, as once my train from Fonyod arrived pretty late to Budapest Deli but then the driver waited patiently after the customer service I contacted via chat reached out to him. And then when I made a booking only 4 hours before my flight and my credit card failed to made the online payment, they also did their best to accommodate my request. I really feel they’re very reliable and will definitely use their service again if I visit Hungary. And the drivers were also very nice, polite, and helpful. Thanks, miniBUD!

    Worst experience. Driver and staff very rude. They gave me a minivan number that arrived fast. But in fact, the driver ignored some of passengers and accepted only the Lufthansa members. Had to wait extra 10 min because sure they didn’t offer a refund. Never take again!

    Dear All, I would highly recommend this service's from miniBUD. It's worth the money and service. One way to my hotel was costing 48 euros where as I got to my hotel and back to the airport near half price. Great service from the TEAM as when I emailed I got a response in minutes. Well Done and one happy customer.

    Counters both in the baggage area and at lobby. Wait time was less than 10 min to board right van. At counter, a bus number is assigned, wait for the bus to register on the monitor at waiting area and then step out to the right of the exit door.

    ITS A SCAM THEY DONT DO REFUNDS! Had the worst experience of my life. Tried to book a bus and their whole system is weird because they want to calculate the time you need to be at the airport instead of you telling them what time you want to be at the airport. We didn’t know this was the system so then when we tried to change our bus pick up time they said they would book us a different bus but in the end they couldn’t provide us with any transport. I have been trying to get my money back for over 2 MONTHS now and they refuse to refund me for a service they could not even provide for us 😡😡😡. Don’t use this company use bolt instead! Much more reliable and you get your money back instantly if you have to cancel.

    Shocking service. From arrival at the airport no one cared, miss sold tickets and basically had to sort ourselves. The drivers road craft skills are non existent and dangerous. We were thrown into the seat in front multiple times. Also there is no customer service or manners. Just got grunted at. Avoid these cowboys at all costs. If they were uk based I would be speaking to the traffic commissioner. Get a proper transfer company then buy Budapest cards and Hop on hop off tickets from the many vendors in town.

    I was afraid to take it after reading the reviews, but everything went perfect. I came almost midnight and in less than 30min I was in my hotel. I came back to Budapest Airport for a very early flight, they picked me up 2h 30min before departure and 2h before my flight I was ready to check in. It is good to come early because in my case airfrance did not allow to check in online and the X Ray line took forever.

    Fraud! Better to use another service provider. The hotel has organized transport to the airport at a fixed price (voucher). Since you could only pay in cash at the hotel (just for that) (why is also incomprehensible), I was supposed to pay the same price (extraly agreed upon at the hotel) to the driver using a credit card. When we arrived at the airport, at the counter, an unfriendly lady asked for almost double the price, with the argument: "the price is like that!"
