Was just hanging around and this nice girl asked for help. I gave up to those sad but beautiful eyes. "My good boy has lost his lovely play ball and I'm trying to find it for over an hour", she said. I was play ball seller and there always were a plenty of those in my pockets. But I was also business man and never did a thing with no pay. Hey, just gimme a smile and I'm sold – that was a deal. I came next day with some brand new balls hoping to find her but no luck. I have never seen her again. That could be just some another story of Budapest street life. No one will recall this. Not even you.

I’m not sure what this statue means but I realized there are statues around the Pest side and it’s simply beautiful sculpting.

Not sure when they put this statue up but today was the first time I noticed and I have walked along the river many times. Way too often you see very strange and bizzare statues it was refreshing to see something so simple.

While taking off the tram and walking towards the Parliament building, I spotted on this set of cute sculptures with a girl playing a ball with her dog. This made me smile thinking how simple yet beautiful life we have.

You don't get to see many sculptures of day to day life, We are away now and our beloved dog awaits. This reminded us of him. In front of the sq, there is a nice place to seat and soak up the atmosphere.

Girl playing with a dog is a bronze statue by David Raffay. Which represents everyday life. It reminds me of my retriever and my playing time with her and how I really miss it now. A sculpture where you do not need to look for stories and double meanings, but simply enjoy the moment in which you are right now.

The dog is not the traditional Hungarian breed Comandor, but a small-breed.

I love it when works of art lend themselves to be interacted with. Watching people enjoy this type of art is a joy in itself.

👍👍 Just walking down the street in Budapest and bumped into this guy. Admittedly I had bumped my old business partner and rewound the video footage to fudge the timing but the leutenant stuck to me like glue with all these seemingly innocent questions. I was dapper and polite of course, even suggesting...

👍👍 The statue of Stephen I, also known as King Saint Stephen who was the first King of Hungary from 1000 or 1001, until his death in 1038 riding on a horse is a must see while visiting Budapest. Stephen was the first member of his family to become a devout Christian. He was crowned on 25 December 1000...
