The pasta was unbelievably bad as the menu stated parmesan on top, but instead, it was mozzarella. The duck breast was the most overcooked I ever had in my life. It’s more than well done. I hope the owner of this restaurant can see this and find a way to improve the food. We feel pity for wasting our time in such a beautiful setting restaurant with such terrible food.

Good selection of G&Ts though they are light on alcohol. Pleasant and polite waiter. Be aware that 12% service charge will be added to the bill automatically. Check the bill before paying. Ours had an item we didn’t order (from the neighbors’ table). Resolved quickly and politely but still unpleasant.

Great personal, and the food was TOP. I ate Salmon with gratin of potato/spinach and were both soooo tasty. My friend who is fan of steak commented that it was the best steak/rump he ever had in Budapest. I highly recommend the Little Budapest and I will surely come back!

We dined at 7pm on a Thursday and was treated with live piano during our dinner. The pianists sang very well and in English, playing a lot of the classic jazz hits. The duck liver pate was my favorite dish of those we ordered. The portions are very large compared to other restaurants in the center and with very reasonable prices. All in all, an amazing experience.

We came for the live piano but were early. The food was ok - the carrot and potato in the ghoulash was not cooked all the way and the meat was not very tender. The poppy seed sauce with the steak was not very good although the steak was adequate. Overall it’s a nice atmosphere but downgrading them because the service staff is more snobby than the quality of the food and place makes sense. Downgrading my rating…they said piano starts at 7pm and no piano at 7:30pm and they tell us the table is reserved.

I had the pleasure of tasting a A5 wagyu rib-eye a couple of years ago, and the steak I got at this restaurant sits firmly at #2. It was incredibly well seasoned, cooked to perfection, the way I asked for, (medium rare) and pre-cut against the grain like it should. My friend ordered a different steak. Because of that, we got the pepper sauce and a jus(gravy). And the jus is the way to go. It complements the steak better that any other sauce. If I return to Budapest, I will return to Little Budapest as well! Excellent!

We had rib eye steak & venison, both so tender and well seasoned, so tasty that they exceed our expectations !!! After dinner we requested to transfer to the bar to have more drinks and dessert there so we can enjoy the live music, our server quickly helped us settled there. He was so efficient!!! We enjoyed so much for the rest of the evening, the sponge cake dessert has surprised us that it’s unusually delicious! The music was so enjoyable that we didn’t want the evening to end!
