I've been wearing specs for about 30 years but in all honesty I've never been treated to such a professional eye-examination before! These guys know their stuff. Also the design and build of these eye-pieces just spells high-quality. Also I got to drink an old-fashioned at the bar in their showroom afterwards :) So a 5-star experience all the way!

Very thorough eye examination, Zeiss machines for objective + subjective tests and slit lamp exam so you are sure you get the lenses that you really need. Pleasant surroundings, professional staff. Their frames are made of recycled plastic and designed with records - really cool. They have the red dot designer award. If you need new specs, this is a place you can be sure they will know what’s best in terms of lenses.

I'll start with the fact that I'm not a Hungarian citizen. I was traveling, staying in BP for a month and experiencing problems with my left eye. I now know that I had/have a detached retina. I stopped here randomly w/out an appointment but the girls here talked with me and even checked my eyes to see if they could tell what problem was. Unfortunately it required an ophthalmologist but thankful that they were nice here and gave it a try. If I ever need a new eyeglass prescription and in BP, I'll definitely go here.

I am travelling and lost a small screw for my prescription sunglasses. A lady at Tipton eyeworks repaired them in seconds and didn't charge me at all. I'm not one to write reviews but their kindness was above and beyond! Thank you again!

Absolutely phenomenal! You know the place is good when the lowest review has 4 stars, and the positive reviews back this place up. I was here to get new lenses and eye tests, and it was absolutely delightful! The shop has a fantastic atmosphere and both of the staffs I met were absolutely amazing, super kind and thorough. I love the showroom and staff works there, I get all the attention for my needs. My very first multifocal/progressive lenses in a Tipton frame:) I had to ask a few adjustments, while getting used to my new pair of glasses, but the staff members are always smiling and willing to help with every details. Amazing store with original selection of frames made from records of famous bands as well as old film, plus as a variety of colour frames. An incredible unique concept. One of a kind designs. Fantastic staff help pick so many perfect styles to fit your face, it is difficult to chose only one. We bought three! They also make sure the glasses fit you perfectly. If you are visiting Budapest and need prescription lenses they will give you an eye test and then ship the glasses right to your home. Highly recommend them!
