One of the best impression from Budapest. Old fashioned stations, little subway cars... It looks like you were in the old days.

This square is the biggest square in Budapest. The Heroes Square was constructed for the minimum time of Hungary in 1896.

It's an awesome place to visit once.here, lots of tourist attraction are available like heroes square, both sides have a museum , beneath heroes square there is a city park, lake, vajda castle and thermal bath.on other side zoo and restaurants are available to visit.. heroes square is open 24hrs but please check the timing of zoo, museum etc.mostly they close at 18:00. So ,visit there and feel the experience .

One of the oldest subway line in the whole world. Great place to visit and they haven’t change their designs too much and authenticity is guaranteed here. Just a meter underneath but quite impressive according to that time point of view. If you are in Budapest and you don’t get on this metro then you will definitely gonna miss something very special.

I just enteted to see if it's the corect side of the station, it wasn't. I spent 5 sec on the station, I didn't know that you have to validate the ticket once you entered the station even if you're not using the transport and they gave me a fine. I doesn't make any sense. There is no information outside the station which the direction of the train is going.

This square is a symbol of Budapest and it's very important for hungarian people. As a tourist is an amazing view, it's huge and it's also close to a green area (Város liget).

All stations worth a visit! Line 1 is the oldest of the metro lines in Budapest, having been in constant operation since 1896. The line was inaugurated on May 2, 1896, the year of the millennium (the thousandth anniversary of the arrival of the Magyars), by emperor Franz Joseph. The original name of the operator company was "Franz Joseph Underground Electric Railway Company" ("Ferenc József Földalatti Villamos Vasút Rt.").

Probably one of the cutest metro stations in Budapest. If you are going to the Heroes Square, I'd recommend taking this old fashioned metro to this cute little metro station.

One of the biggest squares in Budapest. Monuments, museums, park and public transport all converge here . Must see!
