Sugar! Is a very upscale, trendy and joyful confectionary with an emphasis on sugary sweet cake and mignons. While non-added sugary products are also available together with some fun memorabilia and rarer for-the-region (american) sweets, they stand out with their self-made products. If you go here you MUST check out the bathroom. The whole place is designed like it’s straight out of candy crush or sth.

I am buying my birthday cake the third year in a row from this shop, the cakes are so delicious, it's prices are a bit higher than average but also looks amazing

Not bad. Before we ordered a birthday cake wanted to try the place so we went to buy some cake. We choose the red velvet and the fudgy chocolate cake. However the chocolate one was fine but too much for me but the red velvet's sponge was burnt and it was taste bitter. 😔 For the price this is not what i expected. Update!Fudgy Chocolate birthday cake with strawberry 🍓 means only on the top has it (5 pieces cutting into half) and no more. The 10 slices rather just 8.

Cakes are very good, but most importantly : the macarons are of the finest quality. Having been raised in France, these challenge most of the ones you can find in Paris, even some of the Ladurée shops. The Nutella ones are a bit too much, but the rest is very delicate.

We were excited to see this place and had some expectations. This place is nice, but mostly gimmicky and not worth a a special visit. If you were nearby, it could be nice to see it. But other candy stores offer better collections of products.

Sugar! is a nice place, all things considered. However, it was advertised online as a place that sells sugar-free products and that online assertion is mostly wrong. They had one type of ice cream and two cakes that a diabetic person could have. Their products are obnoxiously sweet and lack in taste otherwise, how-ever beautiful they may be aesthetically.

The cakes were the most delicious, but I was so disapointed with the upper part of the shop, the tables and menus were not clean. The only thing I loved about the upper part were the toilets- clean and super stylish. Despite a bit of negative things, I have to say, I enjoyed my stay there.

the lemon cake had to much flavour. Not sure if it is arificial but it feels that way maybe just tone it down a bit The other one, i think was blackbeary, the sponge is a bit to dry, but the poppy-blackbeary combination is very good

Very pretty shop but nothing special. If you happen to pass by it’s nice to look at but don’t go out of your way to go here. Candy was a little overpriced for what your getting. The younger employees seemed nice but the women who i think was the owner seemed to be rather unfriendly towards me and in general.

Excellent tasting, super beautiful cake made the little ones very happy. I ate a milk free slice of cake and that one was extremely good too. Best choice in the city.m UPDATE: After the excellent cake we celebrated next birthday on the weekend so we selected the same shop as we were very happy last time. This time we were completely disappointed. My sister has a milk allergy so we selected the milk free pistacchio cake: Pistachio therapy was just cathastrophic tasting but ehat we found even more outrageous is the size of the cake. See the pic for yourself: they sell this as an 8 slice cake ! 😅😆😂 Is ut for dwarfs from Snowhite maybe?! 😆😂🤣

Delicious ice cream shakes and lots of various sweet goodies to purchase. They've got some really old school sweets that reminded me of my childhood. If you're in Budapest, pop down the shop.

It's a nice place, definitely has a lot of candy. A bit smaller than I thought, but still nice. If you're nearby, I recommend taking a look inside.

A sweet shop with a good selection🍭. The red velvet cake is really good. We ordered it 2 days in advance for a friend’s birthday, and paid at pick up. I recommend ordering in advance if you’d something beyond their menu but otherwise they always have ready cakes in the fridge(that are decorated) or you can order from their menu.

I'm a big fan of their cakes! They're wonderfully moist and just the right level of sweetness. The variety of sweet treats they offer is impressive, and the shop itself is incredibly charming and inviting. Plus, the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

I love this place, just entering in you already take weights. Good English-speaking, helpfull staff with birthdays cake (If you look them you will want to eat them all) prices really correct for cakes by the way. You can't be around and didn't stop here during your trip in Budapest, specially if your kids were nice and you want to reward them.

I had my daughter's birthday at sugar shop and also ordered the cake from there, we had a great time and the cake tasted wonderful until my daughter was eating the figure on the cake (peppa pig) which is usually edible, my daughter was sitting next to my friend and to my extreme good luck my friend noticed after my daughter took a bite that there's metal sharp pins inside the sugar figure! Yes pins inside a child's cake! When I told the shop they apologized a lot but I don't think it's the type of mistake you can accept apology from. I have ordered cakes from different places and never find this! And even if they need this to put the figure together they should at least informed us to not eat it! If we weren't in Hungary I could have taken them to court but I know nothing will happen. Very very very disappointed with this place and I recommend to avoid it for your own safety.

The whole design is make you feel like you are in a candy house.... I mean a house made of candy. The stuff is sweet and helpful, the cakes are beautiful. The ones we tried (cheesecake, some kind of chocolate cake and macarons) were really tasty. This was my second visit here but not the last. Plus two things:I really loved the design of th toilet and also the food and drink carts. :D

Went to check the place with my kiddo. Expensive place. Crew not too welcoming and rude. We went in and noone bothered to say hello or hi to us. They were busy chit chatting with each other. Bought flavored smoothie and instead of properly giving me the receipt, the crew just throw it to me. Try to be more customer friendly guys.

Been visiting for 6 years on a monthly basis. They have fantastic and unique cakes with friendly/fast service. Their Nutella cake and Deluxe Tart are my favourite classics. They often have new cakes that are very good.

the shop was really fun to look around, and the desserts all looked so amazing it was hard to choose. i am a big kid so i chose a rainbow cake slice (because why not?) and a bubblegum macaron. both were delicious! also got a small “ice mush” or slushy to take on the walk back home. definitely go and sample some things!

The pure whiteness is interesting and giving the whole room the athmosphere of a hospital. But a delicious hospital. The cakes look and taste good, the macrons as well. Staff was not too friendly but maybe that was because they are open until 22:00. Prices are ok.

This coffee was excellent during many time with delicious deserts (vers original) and nice employees. Since 2 years, deserts are commun, nothing special and the service is horrible. Prices are increased every year.
