I bought some long strips of lumber，and wanted the stuff to cut item for me. I do this at every other obi store. But the staff said they couldn't cut it for me, without any reason. And told me to go to another store to buy and cut, no service here

Worst customer service ever. The girl who was sitting in the desk didn't know what "bag" means in English and reacted in an aggressive way.

It's huge. I cannot imagine needing any home repairs they cannot service. They have it all.

Clean, big and has wide variety of goods but a bit pricey

The staff were really friendly, and helped choose the right tools to buy. It is not the cheapest shop for hardware but they have a wide range of brands. Sadly the one I initially chose was out of stock, but similar products were available.

Large selection of items which is great. Problem comes if you need to ask for help. Staff run away or tell you to find someone else to speak to. Really bad customer service. Probably worth avoiding if you are looking for help or some guidance.

The best place to buy construction and electrical tools and supplies.

Extreme poor customer service. Asked to cut of piece of left-over wooden shelf and the bored guy working there - who had nothing to do - refused to help, hiding behind "rules" saying they cannot cut wood which is already discounted. Managers rather apply fear than training their employees what good customer service is. Avoid this place if you need help from the staff, because they rather get paid for doing nothing.

Nice, big, spacious home improvement store. 8 out of 10 times we find wówhat we are looking for.

I was offered help and I found what I needed, but single type products (in this case, glue) were scattered across 5 locations on two floors, with no apparent logic. Also, shelves are disorganised and poorly ordered - it took 15 mins and an assistant to find that the 3.5x20mm wood screws were actually between the 4x20 and 4x25mm screws, but the 3x12mm were next to 2.5x12; and boxes of brackets were mixed and some not associated with their price tags. Could definitely be better organised to minimise frustration. Otherwise we'll stocked and decently priced.

There's a very broad category of DIY materials available, the price is good, although Praktiker is often cheaper. Parking and wheelchair access. Staff are efficient ( maybe I got lucky), returns went perfectly. Less busy than the other Obi by the river.

Worst obi ever. Never ever go there. None of them help, you have to pay for their mistakes and years to wait for the delivery.

Huge hardware and home furnishings store, akin to The Home Depot or Lowe's in the U.S., if you're familiar with those. Pretty much anything you can think of related to home repair is here. Roughly a five-minute walk north from the Pillangó Utca stop on the M2. As with many places in town, try to use correct change, if possible. They can be sticklers for it here. They do accept Euros, too.

Most employees are ignorant (except two ladies at the gardening area).I asked three of the staff at the tools area and all instantly said sorry I cannot helps find someone else somewhere... But they keep some Dremel which is good and rare and their prices are not as bad as Praktiker's

Not easy service for English speakers. Would be good for obi to do some training. Everyone seemed impossible to understand the word toy-let-ta

Stock is good but customer service is awful. Employees screaming at you when the cashier is closing. (in the worst way possible), employees giving you orders to put your dog inside the caddy (is this by norm of the place?) and today as reply when I said "jo napot" an employee was moving the head without saying a word, while making a face of "what the hell do you want?". There is a huge lack of educated employees in this place.

A great place for pretty much everything. Their gardening centre is fantastic, also good for all of your cottage needs. We picked up a Karcher steam cleaner and it works perfectly. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we highly recommend this Obi.

I like the place. Well organized. I usually find ehat i am about.

They have a pretty much wider selection of products than other obis, however the staff doesn't speaks english, my advice would be to look for a young cashier or advisor

Great selection of products, and staff are generally friendly and helpful but if you're unlucky you may encounter one or two grumpy staff especially on tills and customer service desk, hence only 4 stars. On the plus side the plant section is great this year - super selection plus the majority of plants are healthy and are good value - actually better on both counts than in some of the plant-only 'nurseries' in Budapest. My favourite OBI in Budapest and I've probably visited them all.

Amazing experience! One of the workers even removed some plastic I accidentally melted from a metal piece I brought to the store (not sure how to call it). Very friendly staff!! :) Will be coming here instead of Ikea whenever possible
