I love this DIY store, it's the smallest OBI store in Hungary, so I couldn't find what I was looking for, but that's okay.

Took back lamps after 60 day period

I have been doing shopping from OBI Ujpest since July 2021 regularly due to the renovation in my new flat. Despite this is a small branch, you can find most of the things here. Workers here are very friendly, I can mention Csaba and Adam especially. They speak English helped me with my orders many time. They have different variety of delivery methods with reasonable price. I really recommend this shop, especially if it is close to your home.

This is the first OBI store that I am writing review about, as I was very surprised of the good service by the only English speaker there named Csabi, he helped me a lot which product to choose. Thanks again Csabi.

I found what I was looking for. It was a bit hard to find a shop assistant, but was able to. The purchased, compatible items were operational (sink drain and tubes) but leaking a bit. After all an extra sealing ring solved the leak, so success. Cashiers were moderatley slow and the place is a bit dirty, but it worked.

A huge store for almost every purpose you need while renovation or creation something beautiful at home.

I'm not professional woodworker. As a hobbist, this place is amazing. I could find everything for woodworking, construction, gardening. All items were well organized. Enough parking space. Kind clerks.

This store is local to me and I go by bus (I don't have a car). It's very convenient for public transport - the 12 and 14 tram line is not far away either. By OBI's standards this is a small store and they don't carry the full range that the larger stores do, but they usually have what I want- check the website first! The staff are very helpful, and one can get in and out fairly quickly. Don't rely on their speaking English, especially for technical language - learn the Hungarian names for things! I prefer to use local specialist stores near me on Rakos út, which are often significantly cheaper, but it pays to shop around - the Rakos út stores cater mostly for trade and so are not always so price-sensitive.They don't have a timber cutting service, but even their larger store in town no longer does that (and Praktiker doesn't either) so bring -a saw if you need to cut things up to pack them. Mobelix tends to be a lot cheaper for lamps, in my experience. There are customer toilets and an OTP cash machine just inside the door. JYSK is nearby too, which can be handy.

This might not be the most well-stocked OBI around but the kind staff certainly make up for the shortfall in products.

It will surprise you when you find simple things you were looking for in many place and with friendly prices

I recommend the Obi at KöKi center over the Újpest store. Although you can find most things you expect from an OBI store in Budapest, the store is smaller than other Obis, making it easily crowded. The plant selections was way too small and with few varieties.
