Salmon was under cooked but that was ok. All the other food was cooked. entertainment was ok although my video is short and unfair to judged by. Service was fast and friendly. Hotel was not overly busy on the Saturday afternoon. Plenty of outdoor seating, some undercover and others not. Hotel looked fresh and clean. Loved the great big tree outside. Nice location. Meals were overpriced for the level of quality and that was the downfall for me.

The newly renovated pub looks great. We stopped in for lunch on a lazy Sunday drive and glad we did. The menu is diverse and sure to appeal to just about everyone. My wife had the Salmon poke bowl (with sashimi salmon) and loved it. I opted for a Chicken Caesar salad and wasn't disappointed (crispy croutons, sliced chicken schnitzel, bacon etc). Friendly staff, good selection of beer on tap, and live music on weekend afternoons. Definitely worth a look-in.

First time to my old local after the new owners did major renovations. Very impressed just ate from the bistro can't wait to try the new restaurant upstairs

Nice and cosy in winter with the fireplace. New owners, so new menu. First time I ate here , (after renovation) there was 2 vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. In (BISTRO) Not much but something. I had the vegan tacos and they were delicious. Second time only weeks later ZERO. They were removed??? So go to lunch there as a vegan and eat hot chips. Not great for the vegan people I recommend it to 😒 So disgusting not catering to everyones food choices. Even though the website says vegan options, ( BISTRO) which I checked before going. But got told not the case when we arrived. No vegan options. Not 1!!! Such a disgrace for a newly renovated pub trying to attract new clientele. Won't be going back. Shame because the staff are awesome. Guessing its a management decision, and a bad one at that😒

Amazing food, well priced,, honestly food fantastic and the staff ( Greg and bar lady) so friendly, will help with anything for you to enjoy your time there.. welcomed by all This is pub to visit .Thankyou Greg for your service. Haven't tried the food yet, however hands down can say probably better than any pub in Newy! Dog friendly beer garden too plus plastic containers on a water table to help yourself. Will definitely come back, good stop for a biker specially if you own a 🥷 no bias here ha ha

Had the BEST nachos here 2 weeks ago. Son had chicken nuggets, real chicken! Mum had a burger and she loved it. Great food, service and venue

Staff were absolutely amazing, super attentive and friendly. Outside area looked really nice to sit in if it was a sunny day. Food came out super quick and was nice. I did feel like the prices were a little high but I guess it is what it is these days with the cost of food being so high.

Food was good, had rump steak and lunch burger. Beautiful location, beer garden gorgeous - staff a bit meh. Woman at bistro was a bit curt, initial bar person (female) didn't offer to bring the cocktail out despite there being 3 people in here (!!!) BUT then Taylor came out. She was personable, friendly, engaging and enthusiastic. 5/5 for Taylor, 1/5 for all the other staff. Lovely experience, looking forward to seeing what they do with the place. Definately an improvement.

I’ve eaten here 3 times and the food and cocktails are delicious, well priced and good serving sizes. Tonight was salt and pepper squid and pulled beef nachos which I shared with my other half. Fresh, well cooked and yummy, big thumbs up.

Loved the experience here. The setup and food upstairs were amazing. I would recommend if you are in the area. The only negative was that the older security guy at the back door was not polite or helpful.

Great looking beer garden the lovely ladies behind the bar recommended the Fettuccine lunch special and it was great! She even came back and checked that we like the recommendations, great touch! The weekday lunch specials are great value and super tasty.

Absolutely worth going out of your way for this restaurant! Fabulous food, outstanding service and lovely decor. We will be back for sure. A hidden gem!
