Lovely place for camping or bbq with family. Parking is $5.00 per day. No in and out. Parking option has $80 per month. There are lots of site for meeting. Great place for weekdays and weekends. No overnight allowed but its enough to enjoy the nature and refreshing at the park.

Beautiful park!! Great place for a picnic. Decent amount of shade. You do need to pay for parking $5 but it's worth it! They have volleyball court, tennis courts, etc have multiple playgrounds for kids. It's pretty big big to have different activities like soccer or some other sports.

This well-maintained park is one of the many Orange County Regional Parks. You can get annual passes to support the maintenance or per entry tickets, $3 during weekdays and $5 on the weekends. There is a Little Free Library at the vehicle entrance. When you turn left, there is a small parking lot right after a baseball diamond. Lots of school and organization practicing sports-- running, baseball, softball, and even senior exercising groups. You can stroll along the central ponds (with many bench seatings right by the water), a bigger looping sidewalks (mostly runners, joggers, dog-walkers, and group walkers), or take a hike along the park perimeter. There are many wild lives, such as the mallard ducks and Canadian geese. I saw many adult geese honking at passersby to stay away from their juveniles. There are small fishes in the pond. Even though there were signs that stated no fishing, I saw someone trying to fish still. There is also a Interpretive Center for you and your love ones to discover local natural and cultural history. At the day and time I went, it was closed. You can read the other local guide's reviews for their perspectives on this Interpretive Center or go check it out for yourself! There are several playgrounds, two volleyball courts, pavilions (needs reservation), picnic tables, and restrooms. Playgrounds have raked sands, many swings and slides, and clean seatings nearby. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked with toilet paper. All in all, I'd visit this park again. Highly recommended to go early in the mornings. You can find parking along the side of Rosecrans. Enjoy!

On our recent visit to Orange County we had an absolute blast visiting this park. The vibes were unmatched as there were lots of people outside playing walking and having parties. As we walked around we stopped into the dinosaur museum thingy and there was a very very knowledgeable staff member there that took about 20 minutes of her time to talk with us about the history of different fossils in the area. I learned a ton that day and was very appreciative that she stopped to take the time to tell us more.

Great park for exercise... ball park for baseball.. trails for walking and running.. stairs for exercise... clean and friendly. Lovely place to enjoy a family day out. If you are by the tennis courts, you'll see an entrance for a running path on the other side of the street. It's part of the park, but a trail that travels into the hilltop. Enjoyable hike with great views.

Very beautiful park with a waterfall, lake, and hiking trail. There is also the Ralph B Clark Interactive Center (Ralph B Clark Paleontology Museum). Loved this! Although it is a small center, it showed the fascinating ancient history of the area and that much of the land was underwater during certain epochs. Fossils are nicely displayed. It isn't open all the time: 1st and 3rd Sat and Tues (last known schedule). The center is free; admission to the park is $5.

This park has a lot of picnic tables and a great view of the Coyote hills cliffs. It has a lot of open spaces and a lake in the middle. There's also a great walking trail that goes around the whole park.

My family used to come to Ralph B. Clark to fish and have picnics when I was a kid. On a recent trip to visit our old stomping grounds, I was so happy to see the park and the lake still looking so beautiful after all these years. The $5 daily parking charge was reasonable for a southern California weekend, and it was a gorgeous sunny day to walk around the lake and spot fish, turtles, ducks, geese, and even a couple pelicans. A beginner fly fishing class was being held in one nook, while kids played in the play area and families enjoyed picnics along the water, like mine used to do. If I still lived in the area, I would also look into reserving the group picnic area for gatherings, because it accommodates such large groups and allows for the kiddos to run around without getting antsy. This visit brought back some happy memories, and I'm glad that others are able to continue enjoying this beautiful space.

What a difference a County makes. This park was clean. The lake was beautiful and the restroom by Lot E was clean. Unfortunately I don't see this in Los Angeles County. Even if I go early when a park first opens. Perhaps they are putting my parking fee to good use.

Easter Saturday was great for a family reunion in a beautiful park. We got there early to get a nice spot. Little museum was open and families everywhere were enjoying the weather and the amenities at this park. Saturday was packed, so I can just imagine how full Easter Sunday was 🐰.

It is nice having something like this within a short drive. I don’t think I would pay the entrance fee to go here, but since we have an OC Parks Pass, I will be spending a lot of time here. The trails are good for moderate exercise, but don’t expect any major hiking challenge or interesting wildlife. Also, take note that there isn’t much of a view, unless you like gazing down upon golf courses. If you like tennis (or playing badminton on the tennis court), this is a good place for you, as we found an open court both days we came here. In fact, pretty much every sport you could play outdoors is accounted for here. We even saw what appeared to be Korean baseball teams. The walk between different areas is pleasant and has a few nice views, though nothing jaw-dropping. Just make sure you watch out for goose poop.

I have been coming here for a few years now. Definitely a nice escape from reality. My family and I came for a walk recently. Mostly everyone had a mask on and kept at a distance on the walking trail. Lots of parking and $3 cash to park inside!

Decent outer perimeter trail. About 1.3 miles long. Just a nice stroll, not really a workout. Good for kids to get out (thus 45min length)

Nice park; deceivingly large. Lots of picnic tables which pretty much all being used. Many bodies of water with one or two oddly enough having people fishing. This was a very busy park but didn’t feel crowded. Trash cans everywhere help keep the area clean. Multiple water fountains along the walking path. Street parking available with lots of parking within the park. Saw pelicans, geese, ducks and squirrels. Lots of plants made for nice photos. Fair number of leashed dogs.

Weekend routine includes taking the dog out to this park for a good mile walk. Great, well maintained park in the area that includes a mostly shaded easy hiking trail, walking paths, huge grassy fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, a fishing pond, picnic areas, and parking spots. Pay to park or reserve a picnic area for groups (all goes to help upkeep this beautiful park). There is also street parking which is free.

Five stars for the park itself. I've been doing daily trail walks there for over a decade. My comment: STOP BUILDING THAT AWFUL FENCE!!! on the west end of the park. When I asked the Ranger about it, she said it was to "establish the trail". (I had to contain my laughter at that point. The trail at Clark Park is obvious.) Now as you enter that section it's like entering a cattle chute; a Disneyland/Knotts ride; a hallway. Healthy trees were removed to accommodate the fence and that stand of trees supports hawk, owl, hummingbird, and songbird populations plus various insects, squirrels, etc. The fence really affects the natural beauty of the area. What has always drawn me to the park and that trail is how it portrays wilderness among our essentially urban environment. Please stop building the fence. Better yet remove it. There have been wonderful improvements made to the park over the years. The horse trail fence is NOT one of them. Lots of money and effort spent with terrible results.

This park is huge and has many areas (aka “shelters”) to have a picnic or BBQ party with your family/friends. I love how there are different types of trails (grassy, sandy, uphill, downhill, etc.) and open field areas for sports and dogs. My toddler has so much fun exploring 3 playgrounds and I love that one of them is designed for young toddler (age 2) so I don’t have to chase my toddler to prevent from falling. The pond is beautiful with many ducks and you can even fish here (catch and release only). The parking is $3 on weekdays, $5 on weekends and $7 on holidays but unless you’re unloading gears for picnic/BBQ party, you can just park on the street near the entrance.

This park is fantastic. It has everything. It has a large lake, it has several playgrounds (for multiple ages), it has a mild hiking trail, it has several baseball fields, even an art center and amphitheater, and lots of open space. There is parking all around the perimeter. But it does require a fee to park, $5 I think. But well worth everything this park has ot offer and its well kept. I highly recommend this park.
