For a $20 a night incidental charge, I feel like they should be paying us the money to stay at such an awful place. It’s basically a motel6 with the continental breakfast! Where to start, their windows don’t open at all therefore the whole second-floor smelled like smoke and mildew. The only ventilation was an air conditioner that made noise as if a semi truck was parked outside my window. The fridge was very wet and unclean inside! I had to find a pillowcase that wasn’t stained to sleep on. The curtain in the shower has no stoppers so it slides to the middle and allows water to leak out! The gym was dirty even from the night before, there’s no thermostat in there so it’s like running in a stuffy room. The breakfast sucked, and the coffee they use are manual like you’re camping! And let me say, for the snoutiness and arrogance some of the staff has portrayed at this hotel is way beyond me! If you really do things by the book at this hotel then you would look into these small details, obviously they have escaped hotel management and I would really like them to spend the night in their hotel rooms so they know what guest are dealing with!

I stayed here 1 night only and experienced excessive noise all night from other guests. During the night, doors slamming, loud talking in the halls, noise from the rooms next to mine. You will not get a good nights rest here. The bathroom is very small and sink area even smaller and old. I spend $180 including tax. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Room is decent. Location is great for OC area. Free parking. Free basic American breakfast. This place is way overpriced for what they had. Reception was aggressive. They didn’t even suggest or tried to upgrade my room per my gold status benefits with Marriott

While visiting LA California. This happened to be a reasonably priced extended hotel to stay at. The customer service was just OK in the mornings, but at night definitely everyone was very kind and courteous and very warm and friendly. The one thing that I was not a fan of was at the pool. It’s kind of outside. You have to walk around the side of the building to get there. I wish it were more attached to the property. The Jacuzzi was nice, but it was a little too cold to swim so we were hopping from one to the other. There were no towels outside, but we were able to get some from the customer service counter at check-in. The nighttime attendant offered us some free cookies, which was nice of him. The room was very clean, but the bathroom was a bit small. We did have to request extra towels, but it was no issue for them at all. The breakfast was not my favorite, the eggs and sausage I could’ve done without. But they had your traditional continental breakfast.

Warren was amazing. He made the stay quiet pleasant even after having to switch rooms. The beds are comfortable but the shower space needs to be to be updated. This place is great for a quick stay but no longer than 3 days before the room starts to smell from the moisture in the shower.

The family and I had a fantastic stay at Fairfield Inn and Suite Anaheim North Buena Park. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near many attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Louie at the front desk. He was always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. He made us feel welcome and appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and frequently refilled. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Anaheim or Buena Park. It was a great value and a great experience. Thank you, Fairfield Inn and Suite Anaheim North Buena Park, for making our family trip memorable. 😊

Upon entering the lobby and approaching the front desk, I was not greeted but rather stared at by an agent named Michaela as she continued to use the paper cutter. I waited for approximately 5 minutes while she glanced at me periodically before my presence was acknowledged. Even then, it took for me to initiate contact to let her know I was checking in. Upon checking me in, she asked for my name but didn’t confirm with a photo ID and did not acknowledge my status. While checking for rooms, in a very rude manner tells me that no rooms are ready and that they might ready around 1PM. She didn’t offer luggage assistance and didn’t confirm my contact details. I did provide feedback to the agent stating that I felt she was very passive and had no desire to interact with me. She failed to anticipate my needs as a guest, and ruined my check in experience with her poor attitude. With the traveling experience I have with Marriott, it was disheartening to receive to a below-standard experience. What makes it more disappointing is that upon leaving the lobby, I observed that her behavior towards the guests after me were not the same. Even when giving her feedback, her response lacked empathy. I made an attempt to reach out to a manager to share my stay experience, but did not receive a follow up. I will never stay at this property again

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while attending a wedding in Fullerton. The room was dated but clean. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The front desk clerk Rosa was efficient in getting us an extra night because of weather. Very professional, friendly and capable. The breakfast was great. The breakfast lady Rosalba kept the area clean and well stocked. What a friendly lady. Would definitely stay here again.

Late check-in, a liquor store open until 2 am. right at the corner. Cross Street Denny's is the only one open for late dinner. Breakfast is pretty good food and services. My room was ok except the dirty toilet on the bottom. Nice hotel for 1/2 nights business or emergency. Overall, it is ok. Front Desk Agent and all employees have a nice attitude and attention to the customer.

I would not recommend this hotel. (a) Upon my arrival the front-desk attendant was rude, but people have bad days so I can look past that. (b1) Hotel maintenance leave a lot to be desired. When I got into my room, the A/C unit cover was off and laying in front of the unit. Okay, easy enough to put the cover into place. (b2) A separate maintenance issue was my bathroom sink had no hot water when I would turn the hot side ON. I followed the water line to the wall and the valve was OFF. Strange, but I turned the valve back to the ON position. Now I had water at the faucet, but when the hot faucet was turned OFF, the sink would drip. I put in a maintenance request for this at the front desk when I left for the day. I come back in the evening, maintenance just turned the hot water valve OFF at the wall again. This is plain lazy maintenance.

Room we had was the larger two room suite. Some of the room looked like it needed updating. Paint was peeling and tiles were broken or popping up. But the staff was great and the breakfast was good and had plenty of variety.

The street noise was loud to moderate. When the cleaning crew came in to clean the room they left a pile of dirty wet towels in my bathtub or shower. The bathtub drain completely came out of the bathtub. I took a towel off the towel rack the towel rack fell off the wall, and onto the floor which means I had to take the towel rack down to the desk and handed to them along with the stopper for the bathtub. Because of the road noise had a very difficult time sleeping would I recommend this place to people who have difficulty sleeping NO!

The remote was missing from our room. Called the front desk, they said to check around the tv and in the drawers of the nightstands and dresser, which was already done…no luck. They said they’d call back as they were with a guest…no luck there either. I also could not connect to the wifi with either my phone or laptop….I didn’t even want to bother with the front desk since they were so unhelpful for the remote control. The bed was hard, not the typical Marriott bed. At least I only stayed one night!

Roaches crawling on the nightstand. Incompetent staff. Old, smelly. Homeless person out front and in the lobby harassing guests. DO NOT Stay here. Stay away at any costs, many other hotel options in the area that are at minimum clean. Asked to speak with a manager on multiple occasions. When the manager Jex finally called me back he stated that he was “tired of customers calling to complain”. He also stated that he would not be willing to do anything given we had to change rooms at midnight with small children. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never stay at this hotel brand or specific site again. I will be contacting corporate given the experience.

Overall, hotel is excellent and very affordable for the quality. The rooms are clean, furniture is up to date. I had a minor issue with my room, RJ went above and beyond to address it! All the staff were very friendly and everyone seemed like they truly cared. The only reason this hotel is not getting 5 stars is because of the limits on amenities. First off, pool closed at 10. I understand limiting pool hours for children, but I don’t understand why they can’t allow adults to be the pool until 11 or so. The fitness center is open 24 hours, and there’s risk in that just as there is in the pool, but adults should be able to make that determination for themselves, and it’s really nice when hotels give adults extended hours for the pool so they can have some time to enjoy it without children around. Also, breakfast ended at 9. This is one of the earliest times I’ve seen a b-fast end. 9:30 or 10 would be much more reasonable. Also, this is one of the few hotels I’ve stayed at where the coffee actually tasted good, and wasn’t watered down. However, they ruined it because they only had a creamer carafe out until 9am. I simply don’t understand why they had to take away the fresh cream at the same time they ended breakfast. Is it that big of deal to keep fresh half and half available for those checking out who don’t care about b-fast but want a decent cup of coffee with fresh cream? It is the little things that can make a big difference in terms of the stay. Just to be clear, overall, I do highly recommend the hotel, but I am annoyed I didn’t get to use the hot tub and pool because of the limited hours.

This hotel has easy access to the 91 and 5 freeways and was a decent alternative for a Disneyland hotel without paying good neighbor hotel prices. The beds aren't the softest, neither are the towels and the bathroom counter is almost non-existent. The staff is definitely the best part of this hotel. Check-in was a breeze and we received plenty of tips about dining and a coupon or two.

Took family of 6 here for Disney trip. Location is great and breakfast was a nice option with kids. Front desk was fantastic and rooms were fine as well. The issue was that it wasn’t a very safe place to stay. There were homeless people coming in the morning for breakfast, and random people hanging around lobby and in hallways that were clearly not patrons. The hallways smelt like marijuana each of the 3 days we were there. You had to “buzz” in to enter the hotel which is clearly there for the issue they have with homeless walking in. My feedback is no fault of the workers because they were great. I just would recommend them to better vet who comes in and out. Numerous times my wife and kids felt very uncomfortable.

A little drama when arrived at the hotel. I guess the customer didn't want to leave the hotel. So the storm trooper has to break the door down to take her out of the hotel. 😆 The bed was comfortable for me. The room is comfortable, and it looks good and well maintained by visual view. The restroom looked clean, but I looked above the ceiling . have crack and stain from moisture, i assume. The breakfast was great, in my opinion. That is why it passes to five star. Very friendly hostels. There is plenties free parking around the hotel. The price is just right. I just hope they don't jack up the price next visit.

WiFi is hardly available; it is constantly down, and when it is available, it is so bad that you might as well use your data instead. It was like that for 3 days. Would not recommend for business. Bathrooms are very tiny, and the shower off-and-on gushes water on its own. Water left a waxy feeling on my hair, but that is because the pH for OC's water supply is — to my knowledge — unregulated and very high. Bathroom does not have a fan (or at least one that you can turn on or that turns on periodically), so I am not sure where the water is going. AC works great; we were often cold and turned it off. Close by to wonderful food options, especially Asian restaurants if that is something you particularly enjoy. Employees were generally kind, but one employee seemed very disheartened and would talk under his breath (yet very loudly) about himself, coworkers, and guests.

Stayed here (2/19/24)with my pregnant wife and 2 toddlers. When I travel with my family, I always make sure to stay in a Marriot, I want to make sure they have a nice hotel. However, Discovered later in the day the TV didn’t work, was moved rooms and given a $40 discount. Great! Then later that evening, after my kids are asleep, we discovered the toilet in the new room didn’t work, and neither did the microwave. Was immediately told a manager would call me to resolve this. Great! However the manager never called me and I was charged. I then filed a case with Marriot. The Manager of this hotel then called me upset with me that I complained! Really….?! I was then offered a $20 discount for the microwave… but was told the toilet works… I know the toilet works because I fixed it! It was disassembled in the top tank and I reassembled it! I am not a plumber, but needed this to work for my family. I told the front desk it needed to be checked. We already moved once and couldn’t do it again. I was offered nothing for this… the only thing that I was offered was compliant that I complained! The staff was nice, breakfast and free parking was awesome! However the management failed in this case, and it has yet to be resolved. I will keep contacting Marriot until I am satisfied. That Hilton across the street is very new and looked real nice as I was sitting in my non-working room….

It may be a bit dated but that's fine because it was very clean. I think the only thing that threw us off is that the room was much smaller than the pictures showed online. Other than that our stay was great! And we would stay here again if given the chance

The room shouldn't have three stars if Embassy at Brea has three, it's half the quality. Tube faucet leaked, shower curtain falling down, sink slow draining, rust on door frame, bed was hard and springs hurt, no meat on the breakfast bar. I left after four nights and will not be back. Embassy is the same price and was a great change.

I got bites on my legs after sleeping 2 nights. I was invited by my friend and I always think Marriotte is good. But I had trouble sleeping the first night cuz I was itchy on my legs. I used a blanket from the closet. I thought I needed lotion cuz of dry skin but I saw not one but many bites on my legs. They were either flea or bed bug bites. It kinda disturbes me and makes me wonder how long does it take to have those creatures.. also I wonder if they even clean the bathtubs if I gotten bites on the bed. I will remember this experience not just the good service but also the itchy experience.

Check in process was good. The service after that was very rude and slow. I don't like service for my room when I stay at hotels but I will request towels or whatever I need to be placed by my door if I'm not there. I put all my towels and trash outside my door asked the front desk for some and asked that they leave it at my door. I left and was gone all day came back towels were gone but not replaced. I see a room getting service 3 doors down i walk to ask her for some but with a language barrier i couldn't get any. Called again and they said they will let them know. 2hrs later waking from a nap to find no towels. The front desk brings me towels himself but only hand towels. So had to go down to the front desk myself.. I travel alot for work and never experienced such service.

Horrible hotel to stay at. It can pass for a motel 6 at that. I can't even describe how outdated it was. It's oddly hidden in a plaza, almost like it's meant for illegal activity to take place. My boyfriend was very upset at the look of our room. I'd never EVER stay here again. If you're like me and book to have a weekend getaway with your boyfriend then I'd recommend the Fairfield in Palmdale :) Not to mention housekeeping was rude. We interacted with either housekeeping manager or supervisor. She was an unpleasant being. Vieja seca (: Also, they charged us half of what our rate was for getting a late checkout which was only 30 min more. Beds are disgusting. I took out my blanket from the car because I refused to lay in that bed. Don't stay here. Place sucks :)

As usual, Marriott did not disappoint. Room was clean and quiet stocked with everything I needed, Check in and check out was smooth and the breakfast was a great fuel source for a long day at Disneyland! Special shout out to Rosa, the front desk associate. She especially made me feel valued as a Bonvoy member!

As a loyal Marriott guest for over 20 years of my life, this by far was the worst most unpleasant experience I have ever had. Rooms are very basic for the price, from the smell, lack of cleanliness and look of the rooms are very much like a motel style. Spend almost $1000 for my stay btw. The first night our AC did not work at all, we let them know so they did fix it but everything from there was not pleasant. The Hotel policy is to clean the room every 3rd day which did not happen as we stayed for 4 nights and had requested it be clean on day 3, came back from the amusement park to find a room that was not cleaned at all during our stay. Our door lock were very janky and loose which is not safe whatsoever. As I gathered my list of concerns I called and spoke to the GM her name is VERONICA HADROUS, rather than apologizing she had a bad attitude and didn’t care to make it right. I was spoken to in a very defensive manner, she questioned my concerns (ex: so you’re mad cause your room didn’t get cleaned that’s the concern?) she said she would investigate and called back, she said there was a do not disturb sign (which had not been on my door since we requested our room be cleaned). She was extremely rude and unprofessional! I asked her to make it right only to be hung up on! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! save your hard working dollars and go down the street or just stay at a motel. For this being a marriott it is horrible and the attitude of the employees are far worse!

I am a loyal Marriott customer, but I would not recommend this property. We were not able to check into our three rooms until 3:30pm, even though check in is at 3pm. And one room was left propped open by housekeeping while we were at dinner. I’ve tried to speak to the hotel general manager, about my concerns, but have yet to find him, available. This is not acceptable customer service.

I love this hotel and use it all the time. Because when I always ask for a quiet area and a higher floor, they get it. This was the worst first time experience. On the night of check-in, my floor was very noisy. I reported it to the male staff at the front desk. His response was good. There were no rooms available tonight, and they said they would prepare a different room from tomorrow afternoon. In the afternoon of the next day, I confirmed the room change at the front desk. A female staff member responded. She was polite at first. The room we were given was next to the elevator. I told her to change me to a room away from the elevator as I couldn't relax. She promised to speak with the general manager and she would contact the room in 20 minutes or so. I waited for over an hour and still didn't hear back. I went to the front desk and talked to her. I got some ideas, but they didn't meet my expectations. The room next to the elevator, which was first presented, was close to the purpose of this stay, so when I asked for that room, it was already out of stock. It was around 2pm and before normal check-in time. Her behavior towards me was very rude. I don't know what kind of training she received or what instructions she received from the general manager, but her response was unsuitable for the hospitality industry. After all, there was no room change, and we spent time in the same room. The second night was quiet, but around midnight, a marijuana-like smell entered the room. The next morning, I went to report to the same she at the front desk. Last night was a nice, quiet night, but it smelled like marijuana. I told her I could stay in the same room if the quiet continued. She didn't say hello when I said hello, she just relayed instructions from her general manager to me like a soldier. I told her that I would report any problems in the future. She said she didn't want the report. I have not met with the general manager. It's amazing what kind of education can produce expressionless hotel staff. From now on, the feeling of wanting to use it hotel will not change.
