I've visited a few Claim Jumpers in different cities, by far; this was the most unpleasant. I ordered the country fried steak , "lacked taste & the meat was tough." Honestly, Dennys Country Fried Steak was waaaay better! I also ordered the Buffalo wings, "it was good!" The bathroom was unkempt! There's just something about a dirty/filthy bathroom at a restaurant that just doesn't sit well with me. Although the food portions were large, I probably won't be coming back to this location.

Always have a great meal at Claim Jumper's. This visit didn't disappoint me either. Started with a Caesar salad, then had a cup of soup, followed by the herb butter grilled salmon withered the veggies and the creamed corn. The corn was outstanding. The salmon was delicious.

We came here late for dinner after we got out from Knott's Berry farm. Haven't tried this restaurant for a decade and decided to give it a try for a party of 5 We ordered the Widow maker burger, the Farmhouse burger, the Lobster Mac and cheese and the Black tie pasta. Portion is big and food are delicious. We finished everything on the table with a fully belly. Even though we arrived late and sit all the way at the back table, but the server check on us periodically. However I gave a 4 star review is because of the restaurant interior deco. Our table is a bit dated and greasy and hope the restaurant will get a remodel or makeover soon. Will definitely visit this location again after it's renovated

Came here with the family to celebrate Father's Day. Made a reservation for 5pm. We actually arrived 30 minutes early because it being Father's Day knowing they were going to be extra busy. They were definitely extra busy. We didn't get seated until almost 6:30. Service was a bit on the slower side too which is what we expected. They were definitely slammed for the holiday. The restaurant started to clear out closer to 7. Nonetheless our waitress was really friendly. Dinner and dessert was delicious.

The waitress had us sit outside even after we asked to sit inside. There were a lot of people smoking in the parking lot and it really bothered us but she still wouldn't let us go inside even though other people were eating inside. She was not attentive and we always had to try a lot to get her attention. They get two stars because the food was really good even though the service was terrible.

Suggested by a local friend, I did my own homework into the establishment and was very pleased by the simple French fare offered. Sampling the chicken cordon bleu on Hawaiian rolls with a unique mustard sauce that was a pleasant experience, accompanied by the Cat's Paw club soda with cranberry and lemon. Portions were small, but appropriately priced, satisfying to appetite, and filling without a sinking feeling. The outside provided safe distance dining for customers, and outdoor heating was graciously included against the winter atmosphere of night. The interior speaks perfectly of the establishment's name in true classic Halloween witches' decor, with a fantastic lounge-like section with a fireplace, and a magnificent frightening mirror that created magical spooky images of a large eye and ghoulish figures, with various portraits of witches, ghosts and goblins and things that go bump in the night. I call this excellent place many times since I like the good mood that is outline this place. The team is very cordial and well trained. The service is remarkablywonderfully quick. Needless to say, the food you get is great. I visited more than once and I was never disappointed. The rate is fair. I suggest this place to to all.

I haven't been to Claim Jumper in a long time. We visited the restaurant for dinner after a day of fun at a nearby really fun place 😉. I was hoping to end the night on a good note with a delicious meal. We arrived at about 9:15 and was seated at around 9:30. My kids enjoyed their food, which is why this place received a 4 star score from me. Otherwise, it would have been a 3. I ordered fish and chips, my wife ordered buffalo wings and the rest of the family ordered assorted macaroni dishes, a pasta dish, a gluten free burger and a side of clam chowder. Off the bat I have to say my fish and chips was overly salty, to the point where it overpowered the taste of the fish. My wife's Buffalo wings were a bit bland and the clam chowder we received was also salty. My boys macaroni was well portioned and tasted good compared to the adult's dishes. We also had pasta and that tasted good. Our server Nick was great and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Overall since this was actually our kids day and they enjoyed their meal I would say it was a good dinner even though I didn't enjoy my meal as much as they enjoyed theirs. Would we go again? Maybe for the kids... but I'm sure any adult would agree going to a restaurant to eat macaroni kind of defeats the purpose of eating out 😄

Old Favorite still has it! Although I recommend reservations the wait could be a while. Greeted and quickly seated by a friendly smiling staff. Gave us the booth we requested, nice touch! The menu has depth and is kid friendly for this dinning with kids. It's a but loud so for the little sleepers maybe not a so good. Overall experience was just like it always is Fantastic. Angel our server was TopNotch, even while handling a party of 15 across from us, still handled our order and the follow up was awesome! Clean, organized, good food and great service stood out tonight. Thank you Claim Jumper.

My server Karima was AMAZING! so warm & attentive. She made sure I had a glass of cold water right away, before I even had a chance to ask for one. She was ready to take my order without being intrusive. Great personality, poised. I was also impressed by the team work, positive vibes between the whole crew. Made the whole place feel so welcoming. It's a great place to enjoy great food & drinks with friends, family or on your own. The positive energy was Spreading. Customers from different tables were congratulating each other on their Birthdays.

Seems like they keep making changes but they have yet to disappoint my finicky kids. We've been coming here since they were toddlers a special birthday treat. Now as 19 and 21 year old adults, we are still coming here to this exact location. Hands down one of our favorite family time meal places.

I can sponsor Claim Jumper to be a great dining experience. The menu is American cuisine and it has a great variety. The desserts are truly better than most. The dining room isn't too loud when it's crowded and the lighting is OK. On the rare occassions that my family and I can all agree on a place to eat, Claim Jumper is always an unanimous YES!

We had a wonderful dinner that included a three-course meal featuring tomahawk steak two salads and a dessert. We added lobster and a baked potato for the perfect dinner. Try the spicy bacon appetizer it's incredible! Our server was Angel, and he was super attentive and professional.

Claim Jumper used to be great, big servings and delicious food. Bust yesterday i got very disappointed with the bowls of soup i ordered (very small). The creamy chicken tortilla soup had only two very tiny, thin pieces of chicken and no tortilla strips.

I liked the witches brew and something named Kid, its made with cotton candy. They bring you the glass with cotton candy fluff and then pour the drink over it. Really cool to watch. The kitchen closes early, around 10pm for a Friday but still open for drinks until 1pm I believe. All in all, great place for drinks. Oh and the vibe is witchy gothic but the attire is casual. Try it if you're in the area.

I was surprised by the brunch but I'm happy that their everyday food and service was as good as always. The manager on duty Brandon and our server Austin were perfect examples of customer service. I'm only basing this review on their brunch which they offer only 3 times a year. Went there for a Father's Day brunch and would never go again for brunch. It was $45 and soooo not worth the price.. plus another $4 for a Coke. $49 for a meal that was horrible. Sad because normally I do like their food. First time at their brunch and definitely my last. They even add a 3% surcharge to the bill for what? It was a party of 4.

This is the one on Beach Blvd , by Knotts Berry Farm.

Everything about Claim Jumper in Buena Park felt like its heyday was in the late 90s and it had been falling ever since. From the sticky tables, seats and menus to the flavorless yet very salty food and the oddly dirty and unkept restrooms - this feels like it stays in business because of Knott’s being right next door. Did I catch it on a bad night or is this normal - I’m not sure I would visit again to find out.

We came here for happy hour. We ordered the lemon pepper zucchini, and pretzel bites. The zucchini so was good, and the pretzel bites were perfectly cooked. Happy hour cocktails were amazing. The only downside was the draft beer was flat. Otherwise a great place to stop in for a quick bite and some drinks.
