The
Physical
therapist
gave
up
on
my
condition
after
a
few
weeks.
He
literally
said
"Physical
therapy
isn't
for
everyone"
at
the
end
of
one
of
our
appointments,
and
then
I
never
went
back.
I
tried
another
physical
therapist
there,
but
scheduling
got
difficult
with
my
traveling
and
we
ended
up
just
having
a
falling
out.
I
have
been
seeing
a
much
more
experience
physical
therapist
who
is
Mayo-clinic
trained
and
has
been
way,
way
better
than
Dr.
Park
and
his
staff.
The
new
PT
actually
figured
out
many
new
things
that
were
never
brought
up
during
my
time
at
Ascend.
My
situation
is
unique,
but
this
has
been
my
experience.
My
original
review
below
(which
was
5
stars).
I
was
so
disappointed
when
I
was
turned
away
because
the
PT
just
didn't
know
what
to
do
with
my
situation.
No
recommendations,
no
anything.
Just
a
simple
"well,
physical
therapy
isn't
for
everyone"
and
ended
our
appointments.

Original
review
I've
had
Dr.
Joe
Park
(he
has
a
doctorate
in
physical
therapy)
for
a
few
sessions
now,
and
he
has
been
nothing
but
professional,
helpful,
and
best
of
all,
thorough.
I
have
had
some
ongoing
upper
middle
back
pain
for
years,
and
I've
tried
a
multitude
of
services.
Doctors,
chiropractic
treatment,
pain
injections,
anti-inflammatory
pills,
cupping
therapy,
and
all
sorts
of
lotions
and
topical
creams,
not
to
mention
all
sorts
of
self-medicated
and
self-prescribed
"fixes"
desperately
trying
to
find
a
solution
for
this
pain.
For
the
few
weeks
that
I've
been
seeing
Dr.
Joe
Park,
he
has
helped
me
to
make
sense
what
is
going
on
with
me.
This
pain
has
stumped
quite
a
few
professionals
and
honestly
has
left
me
feeling
a
bit
apathetic
towards
treatment,
but
Joe
is
helping
me
to
see
a
light
at
the
end
of
the
tunnel.
He
is
receptive
to
the
feedback
I
give
him
in
regards
to
how
my
pain
is
daily,
and
he's
been
great
at
recommending
particular
exercises
and
habits
that
get
to
the
heart
of
the
issue.
When
you're
in
chronic
pain,
you
need
a
light
at
the
end
of
the
tunnel.
I
truly
believe
that
Ascend
will
get
me
there.
Be
upfront
about
your
goals,
your
experience
with
the
therapy,
and
do
your
recommended
exercises,
and
they'll
take
care
of
the
rest.
The
girls
answering
the
phones
and
setting
up
appointments
were
very
professional
and
quick
in
getting
my
insurance
and
records
together.
Check-in
has
never
been
a
long
wait.
And
the
facility
is
in
a
new
building
that
is
quite
nice
-
appears
to
be
a
lot
of
Korean-American
medical
practices
in
it.
Highly
recommended.
