It’s hard to screw up Indian food, I mean I love Indian food so it’s hard to not find it delicious, but for this place I’d say it’s average. Nothing special, nothing bad. Felt like it was way too over priced for the quality though. First time I ate at a restaurant in Argentina and felt it was over priced, and by quite a bit. I don’t like having regrets so I look to the positive side, and that’s the fact that it’s Indian food. I won’t ever go back, no do I recommend it. If you’re desperate for Indian by all means go, but there’s a price to be paid in desperate times. For the price we could have eaten a couple times at places with food that tastes better. The ice cream sucked but everything else was pleasant, just not special. If it weren’t Indian food we’d probably give this place a 2 or 1 star.

We have been Travelling South America for last 10 days and really wanted to try authentic Indian food in Buenos Aires. This place was recommended by the concierge so went along. We ordered saag paneer and chicken tikka masala w jeera rice and for appetizer samosas. Samosas were okay, not anything to brag about! Saag paneer was mediocre! Chicken tikka masala was terrible! Basically it was poorly cooked chicken in tomato sauce. Normally gravy is thick and well spiced. Also it was relatively cold! Paratha was not up to standard! Do not recommend this place! Also not a nice location!

We found the restaurant to be a big disappointment. We ate the menu of the day. Ordered 2 of this, got a very little portion of naan bread (a very little portion). The chicken curry was decent but the butter chicken was not good. When we asked the server why we got such a small portion of the bread he said this is the portion. We paid for another nann bread. Overall we didn't felt this is a way to treat your customers. Will probably won't be back.

This is the worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve have eaten Indian cuisine all over the planet. This is the worst excuse for Indian food you will ever encounter. They absolutely destroy chicken tikka masala. It’s like they don’t know what it’s supposed to taste like and they just made up some thing that looks kind of like it. This is bland sauce, tasteless rice, absolutely, no flavor and no resemblance to Indian food. They should change their name to something other than Indian cuisine. They serve overpriced, awful food. That they have all these high ratings can only be attributed to the fact that the people who are eating the food don’t know anything about Indian cuisine. I guess they found the perfect place to pass themselves off as an Indian restaurant. Absolutely horrible.

Pretty good; stopped in for a late dinner after seeing an opera at El Colon. I went with lamb (fantastic!) and the wife went with chicken tikka, which was pretty good as well. Place is small, yet quite cozy, friendly staff. Only complaint was the naan bread; always my favorite experience of Indian cuisine, however it was lackluster here, didn’t seem fresh.

This was my go to place while my time in Buenos Aires. It serves the best Indian food in BA. The staff is very friendly Sameer and Asif gave suggestions to try different dishes that were delicious. The owner is also very helpful he gave suggestions where to find important things at a good rate in BA. And the best part is the food.Their Mix Entrada is a must try and Palak Paneer is also too good. Pista Kulfi and Ras Malai I would recommend if you have a sweethtooth

You won't be able to work there unless you are a rude person. Reply to a client in an unpolite manner? Why not! Disaster! We came 30 minutes after scheduled opening and the stuff were still busy with the cleaning. We were asked to come 30 minutes later. Ok, we came After another 30 minutes. And the stuff in a very rude manner told us that we have to come in a 30 minutes!))) Jajajaja. Here are you 1 star rating! Good job guys!

After visiting south of Argentina and missing Indian food, we were so happy to find this place and went for dinner as soon as we landed. The food was quite good. It was spicy, flavorful and tasty. We were back once more because we liked it so much. While the food was good, there is one guy there quite unfriendly. He goes out of his way to be unfriendly. They got our order on time since we had to catch a show but he made it seem like its better if we leave since he would take long. He could certainly change his tone. Also it says they open around 7:30pm but they don't, we stood outside till 8 and even then the food didn't come out before 8:30 or so. He did make those expectations clear but he was rude about it. All the other waiters are friendly and polite. By 8:15 it got quite packed. I recommend the food here but don't expect everyone to be as friendly.

My experience was not positive. The beef curry was ok, but not spicy at all. The rice was really cheap. It’s embarrassing for an Indian restaurant to serve such overcooked and starchy basic rice. The free tortilla with 3 delights and wine were good. Staff don’t even dare to give you a smile.

Went for dinner again to this wonderful restaurant. Once again very high quality food. Their chutneys, Lassi, naan, rice, subzis and desserts were really tasty. As before Sameer served us with a personal touch! This is the Best Indian restaurant in town for sure! 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎

Very good and large portion given. Some prices have gone up from the pictures (or potentially dinner price vs. lunch). This place was so good I decided to come back a couple days later.

Way too expensive for very bad tasting food, I do no recommend, there are several better options for Indian/Desi food.

    1. On the house: provided two cold pieces of nan with two tasteless chutneys out of a bottle. 2. Half the things on the menu were not available - no saag dishes, no cauliflower, no tandoori dishes, .... no Lassi, no beer, .... 3. We ordered garlic nan, chana masala and veg jalfrazi. Nan was not good - fat and not uniform, and barely a hint of garlic. Chana masala didn't taste anything like chana masala. Looks like it was made out of matar dal, instead of kabuli chana. Veg jalfrazi was tolerable. 4. Ambiance: very basic. There were lot of mosquitoes inside. Horrible loud music played all thru. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Delhi Mahal, San Telmo. This has to be the worst food I have ever eaten in my life, not to mention what appeared like bad hygine. Plate had fingerprints to start with, knife was not clean (tho' I did not use it), the waiter was standing near the kitchen and eating his dinner, then serving, mosquitoes were biting us. Cover charge for all this, seriously?? Then came two cold and white pieces of Naan with ugh and watery chutneys and the worst chole' that had no resemblance or taste to call it chole'! Maybe this establishment works for those who have no clue about Indian food but hygiene being universal, I would not recommend it to anyone. Some quality control person needs to look into it.

Food was good but waiter was super rude and had an attitude as if he is doing us a favor by serving food. Tandoor few minutes away is much better in terms of environment, food and service.

We came here on November 24th/2023. The waiters were rude when they converse. Food was not fresh. The sagu paneer was definitely spoiled. Portions are small. They also charge table charge which is not common for this type of restaurant and not charged by other outfits we ate. Today being Sunday nov 26th and we being vegetarians, it was difficult to find a place to eat. With no choice, decided to eat here. We came in and sat for 2 minutes. Owner came and yelled at us at the top of his voice saying, we are closed, you get out. We said the door was open. He was so rude, we felt even beggars would be treated with some dignity. Hated ourselves for coming back here not having used are best judgment and gut feeling. DO NOT COME HERE and WASTE YOUR MONEY

Ordered from this place, a delicious chicken tikka masala and a vegetarian dish for my girlfriend. Absolutely exquisite, and generous portions. Also, the garlic naan is the bomb. Go eat here !

2 items missing from my delivery order. Called to notify them, to learn that they would send someone with the items. No one arrived. Called the next day to remind, and they just hung up and stopped picking up the telephone. Shoddy service! Strange because the food that did arrive was good.

The curry fish coconut is simply amazing. The somosas are also very good. Lamb was a little dry, but tasty. Portions could be a little larger. The place itself is very small. Not very welcoming I'd say, despite the nice decor.

The food is prepared very well and is of very high quality. They adjust the spice and flavor as per exact needs. For our entire stay, the owner was kind enough to make sure we had a variety of wonderful Indian food. Highly recommended! It was our go-to choice for Indian food for our entire stay in Buenos Aires!! Special thanks to Mr. Mohd. Istayaz for his kindness!

We arrived in the city very late at night and this was the only place open around us at the time. We were concerned that we were inconveniencing them, arriving right before closing time, but the staff were very accommodating and warm. The food was ready in literally minutes; quick as fast food! The food itself was absolutely phenomenal. Hands down, the best Indian food we have tasted. Great staff and amazing food, definitely would recommend.

The korma and pakora were excellent--some of the best I have ever had. The lamb vindaloo was a disaster, however. Gristly, fatty meat (one notices because there were so few pieces of it that the disappointment was hard to contain). There was absolutely no spice. The service was surly and unsmiling, and we had to remind our server several times of what we ordered.

Chicken served is halal but not the beef. Luv the Lamb & Chicken Briyani . They served a huge single portion which ( for Asian) could comfortably feed two.

Excellent place to eat Indian food. It is sometime crowded because it is small but the waiting worth it! Good food, good service, nice place!

  • 2/5 Stephanie M. 1 year ago on Google
Make sure to ask for spice. Ordered a vindaloo and it might as well have been a tomato pasta sauce... Not a hint of chili in it. I'm Irish and this has been a reoccurring issue in BA. Make sure to request that the food is spicy.

In a country where Indian spices and flavours are hard to find, this place is a great find! Amazing flavours, great service (Sameer was the man!), and pretty decent quantities of food. You won’t regret it :)

Had a Fish Curry with Cumin rice. Asked for spicy and it was perfect, not that hot, not that bland. If you like it spicy, make sure you ask for it. Mine was great

The food is decent but they put the wrong hours on google and on their door. They don’t open at 7:30pm. And they literally shooed us away when we showed up at that time….really rude for no reason

  • 1/5 DSB D. 1 year ago on Google
We showed up for our reservation at 19:30. We were turned away and told to come back half hour after our reservation because they’re not ready and are still cleaning. We had already paid for a cab to get to the restaurant and didn’t want to wait half hour outside the restaurant. Why advertise that you open at 19:30 and allow reservations if you can’t be prepared for your opening hours. We left and took a cab to go elsewhere.

Delicious food, being vegetarian I like the taste as good as home. Pakoras are good. They are flexible to minor changes to make you happy.

I normally don't leave bad reviews but on this occasion I feel like it's a must. I have been to many restaurants but I must say this is the worst I have ever been to, Very disappointed with food and their customer service.

Authentic Indian food. The staff was very friendly. We had the chicken jalfresi and the lamb gosh which both tasted very good. We will come here again in the next days.
