Bed bugs, not cold milk for breakfast, non-adjustable AC in the rooms and poor maid service who always "forgot" to leave new towels, so we had to take the lousy elevator from 8th floor to pick up towels... On the other hand the hostel is very central and with good security.

I stayed here years ago and really enjoyed it. Met new people and the staff was friendly. I’m writing this review now because it’s closed and has been since the pandemic started in 2019. I work on the same block and people arrive there not knowing it’s closed. They didn’t call prior to coming to the hostel. Just wanted other travelers to know. If and when it opens, I’ll post another review. Something HostelSuites Florida should have done.

Staff were friendly but the room I had was below expectations. The room smelt of mould and it was visable on some of the walls. All of the doors were very sticky so there was constant banging through out the night as people got back to their rooms and tried to close their doors behind them. Not a bad price but a couple of small changes could make it much more enjoyable.

Friendly staff and good location. The room was more or less clean and minimalistic. Heating was not working and the windows don't close properly. But at least we had an extra blanket. Good for one or two days stay of you don't have high needs.

Top location, good prices, friendly staff. Rooms are not very clean though and the Breakfast doesn't deserve more than one star, but you get what you pay for, I guess. What really needs to be criticized though is the plastic. Bowls for cereals, spoons and cups are all plastic and thrown out daily. Being part of an organization like youth hostelling international i would hope for stricter environmental standards. You can do better, especially staff at breakfast does definitely not seem to have too much to do ..

I think it was built in the 70s and they just left everything the same. The place is seriously worn down, but room is clean and staff is mostly friendly. We arrived early and we could get access to our room prior check in time. Breakfast is simple, breakfast buns, butter, jams, dulce de leche, yoghurt, cereals and coffee but it is fine for starting the day. The kitchen is a serious let down, pots, pans are worn, should be binned and not to be used anymore, bowls are broken so cooking anything simple like an omlette or fried egg is a challenge. Location is very good, right in the centre, landmarks are walking distance.

Great location but all the other things could be better. No recommended for those looking for a bit of comfort and cleaness. Watch out for room service- they will eat your sweets if you leave it on the shelf.

decided to come back after a good experience at this hostal a few years ago, to my dismay found out it's now become a total ruin. We quickly left and found a much better place nearby after 1 short night there. In short, reception jacked up the price and didn't honour the price clearly posted in huge letters on the board. The shower doesn't work. Room is tiny and dirty (we had a private room in upper floor). Air conditioning doesn't work. Very dusty and dirty everywhere. The only good point is it's quite centrally located (noisy street), and the oranges at breakfast are tasty.

Ok place. Beds and sheets are good quality and apparently walls between dorms are anti-noise. There are two pcs in the lobby, and also theres a bar down the hostel that has a stage and as a passenger you get a nice drinks discount. On the other hand.. place is quite gloomy and has some money saving measures that i did not like. Also doors locks are not that safe

The rooms are a bit old and seems to have lack of maintenance. The same for the bathroom. However, the bed is not bad and the shower is not great but does the job. Staff very good and social space also very good.

The place is near everything , that's what it has going for it. You need a credit card to make the reservation even dough you pay in cash. The breakfast is very poor. The service from a a scale 1 - 10 , 10 being the best I give them a 2 and that is being generous. I may come back due to location nothing else. The rooms are poor not fair.
