Great people working at this high end hostel that is more like a group hotel. Lots of activities and chances to meet others. Super value and location to get to many of the City's highlights in art, culture, government, eating, shopping and more. Very sweet, kind and attentive staff. Thank you Gerermo and Kenny in particular for your assistance, guidance and answers to all my questions. Very good, fun, lively rock band on Saturdays

For sure the best hostel in Buenos Aires. Pauli is the best bartender ON EARTH and Dante always plans amazing activities for the guests. The food is delicious and made by the sweetest guys Salva, Juli and Facu, the swimming pools are super cool, everything here is simply amazing ❤️

This hostel is excellent. It is clean and has an extensive list of activities for travelers. I was initially hesitant and thought it would be a non-stop part hostel, which is great some of the time, but on this trip I was hoping to have some solo options as well. There is no pressure to participate in social activities, and there is plenty of space to unwind on your own when needed. The rooms are clean with excellent beds, lockers, and shower/sink. The staff was friendly and helpful. The downstairs pool was unfortunately under construction, but the surrounding outdoor area was still great for relaxing near the bar. Location is walkable to restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. I would definitely stay again.

I loved the hotel, everyone was very polite, I felt very welcome. The hostel has an excellent location, great for making several visits on foot, and at no time did I feel unsafe. The hostel also has several day and night activities. The swimming pool is incredible and is great during the summer. Breakfast has several good healthy options. The room is spacious and very comfortable.

Everything was great. The reception was very pleasant and helpful. Entire establishment was always clean and warm. Lots of events to keep you busy and meeting new people. Dante was a phenomenal host on his tours and lessons. The girls at the bar were always great and smiling. Only negatives were that the bar closed at 11pm and that the indoor pool is not operational currently for maintenance. And the key cards were hit or miss. Would (and probably will) stay again and recommend to everyone else. Big enough to find privacy if that's your things with enough happening to get a bit of a party vibe with lots of events planned daily for those who prefer to socialize and mingle. A very nice vibe for all types of travelers.

The people are terrific. Hosts made my stay in Buenos Aires a thousand percent better! All of them were eager to help and kind. They recommended me incredible places to dine, enjoy, and do errands. Breakfast is good if you are lazy or are on a business trip or conference, as I was. However, you will have several cheap and beautiful options in the surroundings.

Amazing hostel! Had such a good stay here. Really nice dorms and beds, really social with lots of places to hang out. Activities and events arranged every day. All the staff are so friendly and helpful! Went on a brilliant tour of Boca and Dante was a great guide!! Would definitely recommend a stay here :)

Stayed here 6-7 different times, and the staff is amazing, the place has great facilities and the experience is much better than the other hostels in the area. Caro made me feel extra special when always saying my name and asking how I was when walking past.

Viajero is easily the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. I stayed here 4 times over the last month and would come back again in a heartbeat!! Agus, Kenny, Maira and Caro are top of the line and some of the best people I have ever met. Would come back just to hang out with them! There is never a dull moment, dance parties, mate drinking, sheer happiness!! The vibes are great and the sense of community is amazing!

This hostel is a mix of chill and hype. Very hype at night and weekends for the parties and bar downstairs, but chill and quite at nights for sleeping and relaxing. The guests are semi friendly. Not overly inviting but easy to spark a conversation with if desired. The staff are helpful and attentive. And the place is clean and has lots of style with convenient location to bars, restaurants, stores and tourist sites. They offer events every night of the week, light continental breakfast, city guides, and even trips to Uruguay. Definitekt recommend.

I had the best stay in this hostel. The rooms are great, people are friendly, and the staff is the nicest you can find! A lot of fun! On top of that, Caro Maira Augustina and Daniel will do a great job on helping you taking care of your skincare. I highly recommend.

Great value for money, the shared amenities are amazing - including outdoor patio, living rooms and seating areas, downstairs bar, front lobby, everything. It is a chain and feels commercial but the front desk is super friendly and happy to help and I think that makes a big difference. You can't really ask for more in a hostel that what you get here

Great place! I don't really care for all the activities, but I assume they're cool. I just needed a nice place to stay in a good area, and it was definitely that. I stayed in a private room that had its own shower, and I really liked it. The lobby area and staircase are all really well designed. My only complaint would be the noise sometimes. Music is almost always playing, and you can hear it from the room, but they shut it off at reasonable hours. And through my door you can heart to the hallway really easily, and that woke me up a few times when people came back from the late night stuff. But would definitely come again! 5/5

My stay in Viajero has been excellent. I booked a private room which has a comfortable bed and a private bathroom, which is great. There's daily activities and the staff is always happy to supply you with any information you need regarding the city, whether it's for exchanging money, restaurants in the neighbourhood or a night out. Big up to Agustina and Maila who have made my stay even more pleasant. 10/10

Fantastic hostel! Friendly people, lots of activities, and good services (WIFI, pool, luggage storage, breakfast, ticket bookings etc). Can be a bit noisy at night with the social activities but settles at midnight. Really enjoyed the hostel and look forward to coming back!

Very popular hostel with tons of activities and awesome staff. Facilities are very clean too. Scheduled activities and bar are loud until midnight though, so sleep isn't guaranteed (quiet hours 12am-7am).

Amazing location in San Telmo, very central. A good range of rooms (dorms, private etc), which are clean and everything works well. Two pools - indoor and outdoor - and good communal spaces including kitchen with free water refills. Staff were lovely, helpful and really friendly. Lots of activities and opportunities to socialise with others. Overall, a fab hostel!

Simply the best hostel I've ever stayed in. You want to stay there all day and live there. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, especially Carlos, Maia, Daniel and Caro who were super helpful. The hostel cares about activities that promote integration between guests and they are all a lot of fun (parties, dance and yoga classes, etc.). The structure of the hostel is incredible, the outdoor area with the pool looks like one of those advertisements with young hipsters enjoying the summer. The cleaning is impeccable. I recommend everyone who goes to BA to stay there, I will definitely come back!

Without any doubt the best Hostel I've ever stayed in. Nice pool, clean rooms, plenty of group activities make it easy as a solo traveler (same for couples or groups) to feel welcomed in a new city. But the heart and soul of this place is the Staff. From front desk over Bar to the cleaning personnel - you find amazing, warm hearted people wherever you look. It was actually not easy for me to leave. Thanks for the wonderful time. Ale

Very nice Hostel with lovely staff. Especially thanks to Geronimo! The beds are very comfortable and the curtains in Front of the bed give a good feeling of privacy. The showers are lovely and have a Lot of pressure. Also there is a very nice chillout area and two Pools. I would definatly recommend it.

Really nice hostel - loved the free activities, rooms were clean and staff were very friendly. Good beds in the dorms with lockers with charging ports. Always hot showers. Having so many activities on offer was great. It also makes for a very social environment where you can make new friends etc.

One of the best hostels, especially for solos! They offer both a place to stay (private or dorm) AND tons of activities to do if you want to explore with fellow travelers. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here when I visit again!

Even in a shared room it still felt private because all of the beds had a curtain. The bathroom being in the shared rooms is super convenient (no walking down the hall just to go to the bathroom). The lockers are big enough for a carry-on suitcase. The hostel has stuff happening every day of the week. Some of the activities cost money, and the prices can be a little on the expensive side, but it’s worth the money if you’re a solo traveler wanting to be social. Also, as a solo female traveler, I did feel safe staying at the hostel. For the price, experience, and location, I’d definitely come back!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in! The rooms are clean and nice. The bathrooms are up to date (showers could be a little cleaner) but everything worked and was clean! The staff is super nice, friendly and willing to help you. The location was near lots of great restaurants and landmarks. This hostel is super social and has great events people can join.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in! The design itself would be enough to be outstanding. The vibe created by extremely friendly and attentive staff (you are welcomed by name and the hostel is big, just to give an example) is amazing. There are activities day and night which I highly recommend doing. Great bar, great breakfast. I will remember the time I spent there with a big smile. Hugs from Germany!

I had a number of complaints to sort out with the manager of this hostel, namely sorting out a refund for the cancellation of my stay, which has been ignored. I have sent three emails and have no reply. In summary: very noisy, single glazed private rooms overlooking terrace bar with music from bar going on late into the night; staff helpful but passed the buck to manager who is ignoring my messages; shower and bathroom dirty; generally area pretty run down. Make you pay in USD too. Would not recommend

We had initially booked for 2 nights here but in the end extended our stay twice and ended up staying for 3 weeks. I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere with the quality of staff that Viajero had. They would always go above and beyond to give you the greatest experience you could possibly get. When we arrived they had only been open for 1 week and even then the service was still amazing. They were more like friends than staff by the end of our stay. They were always very helpful when looking for things to do around the city and always wanting to help. The buffet breakfast was cheap and delicious! The rooms had their own bathrooms with fantastic showers, everything brand new, great lockers, even curtains on the bunks 👌 The pool was awesome, especially after returning on hot days with plenty of room to relax. The kitchen, although small, was very handy and had most things needed for cooking. The Casa Jaguar Restaurant and bar made the most delicious food and drinks, only wish it was open longer during the day. This hostel is still very new and while we were staying, there were many new things happening around the place so I can only imagine how amazing it will be in a few months time when it's completely finished. We definitely recommend Viajero to everyone planning on visiting Buenos Aires!

This place is good in some ways and bad in some ways. Check-in process wasn't smooth at first. Window in our dorm doesn't close, so once the music outside downstairs stops at midnight, then you can go to sleep. The bathroom in our dorm room is not the best, and no hand towel to dry your hands. The shared bathroom didn't have toilet paper in 1 cubicle, and the second one didn't even have a dispenser. When I went to report that - I had to stand at reception looking at all the staff, that just ignored me, wouldn't even look at me and say "won't be a moment". They just let me stand there as they looked at their computers and chatted socially to each other. Pool is all shade, no sun after 4pm, due to the huge building next door, and the pool isn't 100% clean. Bartender and cocktails are amazing, the foods great but overpriced. The hostel is overpriced. Beds are brand new and comfortable but they're not closed in, they just have a little curtain. Just an irritating stay, compared to places im Palermo (much nicer area) that are half the price.

Absolutely incredible hostel stay. Premises are very stylish with great architecture, design and very well-kept. The room itself was very comfortable with every amenity one would need and a great little balcony to view the beautiful pool/deck/socializing area below. Hospitality from all staff was incredible and Lucas went above and beyond the call of duty to offer advice on what to do around Buenos Aires. Not much more you could ask for from a boutique hostel. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Buenos Aires.

Definitely the best hostel in town! It's completely new and has everything you would wish for in a hostel - a pool, tasty breakfast, nice staff, activities, clean and good rooms. I would totally recommend it!

This hostel is new and is still renovating and it’s huge. The rooms are big and have bunk beds. The beds have a small curtain which makes it private. Each bed has a small case to put you phone in it and it has a lamp so reading a book is easy. The showers are great and working fine with cold and warm water. The bathroom have good working toilet. Also they have an hairdryer:) The hostel is famous by party people so sometime it can be noisy and very busy.

For an Hostel extremely pricey but it's a great location, it's really easy to meet people and they have a lot of activities you can participate in (some even for free). But has I said, it is extremely pricey (almost triple the amount compared to other hostels in Argentina) and for that the rooms are extremely bad. Really cramped, no space to but anything, the sink is in a corner so no door wich makes it extremely noisy if somebody is using it. Also the lockers are extremely loud so it is impossible to open or close your locker without waking up everyone. You get into your room with a card that almost never works so you have to go down to the reception. I stayed in the second floor so it was extremely annoying. Also the breakfast is a la cart and it's not enough to be full. You could fill up on cereal and fruits but one morning they just hadn't any of that without any explanation so I got one slice of bread with scrambeld eggs. For the price that's just unreasonable. Wouldn't recommend staying there.

Staying at Viajero BA has made my trip to Buenos Aires an unforgettable one. The hostel is a great place to meet people and is very social-with activities planned daily. There are many places to hang out in the hostel itself, and when the weather is nice there is a big outdoor space with a pool. The beds are comfortable and have curtains for privacy. The highlight for me has been the people that work there- they are super helpful, friendly and very accommodating. Shout out to Lucas, Agustina, Matias, Myra and Dante! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Loved my stay at Viajero Hostel. Great, friendly, atmosphere where everyone felt super approachable. Other travelers from other hostels in the area ended up changing reservations to Viajero due to its great reputation. I felt safe and received great recommendations about places to go and see. Special thanks to Dante, Augustina, Rodrigo, and Lucas for their attention and care.

The place is really stylish and easy to feel comfortable in, with a lot of space and opportunities for either hanging out with other guests or doing remote work. The receptionists are also really friendly and helpful. One downside during my stay was that the keycard stopped working literally every time I went out with it, so I had to go down to the reception and get a new one very often And the last day I paid like 1200 pesos for breakfast, and there literally wasn't any food there. But I hope and think these are exceptions, and would gladly come back.

I've been staying at Viajero several times during this year and I've always had such a great time. The place has a very cool vibe and it's an awesome place to stay either if your doing tourism and/or working as digital nomad. Heads up for the staff who are very kind and helpful, especially Rodrigo who's very welcoming and does his best to provide you the best tips about the city. Highly recommended!

The 6 bed dorm was a bit small and the shower tile was broken and moldy. The main floor bathrooms smelled terrible. Faucets in the pool bathroom didn't work. Service at the bar was slow when it was busy because they only had one bartender for a fairly large hostel. They also didn't allow you to bring in alcohol which was annoying if you wanted a drink before 6 when the bar opened. The location is great, and the staff is cool, but I feel like they could improve a few minor things for the price that they charge.
