Odd store. Its huge by Buenos Aires standards but has one of the most limited selections I have encountered in the produce and grocery sections. Good for finding those one off specialty items that expats are always looking for. A better place to find housewares than most grocery stores. Always a line and always slow - but that's just grocery stores in general in BA.

Clean, large, and well-lit. Variety of household goods, fresh fruit, and more. Prices for a few promo items better here than at Carrefour. Now for the bad. They need to improve the process when items ring up at the register with the wrong price. The Customer shouldn't have to go to customer service to get the difference. Fix the price on your register while the customer is at your register, and stop trying to punish people for speaking up when your prices are wrong and you are the one at fault. They also need to roast the rotisserie chickens longer (so meat isn't pink), and use a different packaging. The current packaging is thick plastic and it's impossible to see quality of chicken when steam coats the plastic unless you open the container. I've seen customers do it, and after buying a chicken that looked a day old when I opened it at home, next time I will check the quality of the chicken as well before I buy it. They have cashiers and self-service checkout. Self-service doesn't accept cash and they compare your items and receipt, so it can move slowly after you pay for your items. I watched an angry customer storm out when Luzmila was working self checkout - she was checking their receipt, then back to their items, then their receipt, and on and on. Not like she was actually verifying, but like she was intentionally being difficult. They need to train her better.

This is definitely the best grocer I have found in BA. The prices can be a bit higher but still reasonable, especially for the quality. The produce, meats and deli items are high quality. If you're familiar with Whole Foods or Fresh Market, this is a good comparison. They have really good rotisserie chickens. Also, the only place we have found jalapeños.

Nice super reasonable prices and wide range of product. Very clean.

As some people mentioned, enormous for BA

A large store incorporating supermarket and clothing and white goods ... and almost everything else. The selection is large without being special in any way. The wine selection is probably the best in the store but prices not always the most competitive

Sooo for a month and a half these guys were accepting my driving license as an id supporting my credit card and today they are telling me they only accept passport and "it's not possible that it was other way before". Nice service, nice!

Every thing you need, Stock of every products, milk all flavors, cheese, meet, vegetables, cooked food, some cloths, bread toasters, electronic ovens, towels. Forks, knifes.

What a bummer. One hour shopping for our stay and they only accept credit card purchases with passport. First ever at Jumbo for me.

It is big but it is almost like the local Jumbos - they just have more of the same. I miss some quality products that can be hard to find, and they so not have that here.

Bigger supermarket. Make sure you weigh your produce items before going to the cashier, that was new for us.

Great location, convenient parking and good variety of products. Very helpful employees and pretty well organised 👌
