Love special rolls. Picture is Dynamite roll. So fresh! So delicious. Kitchen is pristine clean. We ordered dynamite, bamboo, shrimp crunch and Chelsea rolls. Everything was super delicious. Service is friendly. Highly recommend this place.

The sushi was good. The place is kind of cold though because of the winter time and they don't have a heater really where the dining tables are. It's pretty cold when someone walks through the door and you're sitting at the tables. They don't have a big variety of vegetable rolls though for people who do not eat meat or fish. But the staff is really nice and friendly.

Amazing Sushi! Friendly staff! Not fancy but very casual but very clean restaurant. They have great party platters too. The couple who owns and runs the place are friendly and make amazing sushi. Our family came here since 2012 and never had a problem!

LOVE this place! My husband and I go here often whether pickup or eat in. It’s a small place, not much seating but the lady there is SO sweet and the staff is really friendly too! This place made my like sushi. My favorite things to get are the spicy tuna crunch and gyoza. It is amazing!!! Highly recommend this place. Can’t get enough of it.

Humble establishment with great quality fish at affordable prices. We came in ay 2 pm and we had the place to ourselves. Nice staff. Got the sashimi combo, the Ono fish was the best. Happy I checked this out and will definitely be stopping by for lunches in the near future. Mostly take out but has 3 tables for dine in. Easy parking.

First time here, the place is clean and organized. Ordered food and was served within 5 minutes. Food was also very delicious and my taste buds were singing. 100% recommend to people looking for a nice sushi place for a small price.

When walking in, another customer shouted out, they have the best sushi in the area. That’s how you know this place is good. The food here is delicious. Got the fish spring roll and tuna seaweed roll. Will definitely be back.

I lived in Buffalo Grove for 23 years, and never knew about this restaurant until a few days ago. At first I was hesitant to try, but rolled the dice and decided to go with my cousins. As we walked in, the owner greeted us with a big smile, and seeing all the photos on the wall.. I knew the owner had a big heart for their customers, extremely family oriented. I ordered the Japanese Curry, and my cousins tried their sushi and gyoza. Also the sushi clock decor, I love it! I normally don't write reviews, but they have THE BEST gyoza in Town. 10/10. The sushi did not disappoint, nor did the japanese curry. Prices were just right as well. If you are hesitant to try, take the leap. Its damn good. You got yourself a weekly customer! THANK YOU❤️

How did I not know that we had a 43-year sushi chef from Japan in our neighborhood?! The quality and service reminded me of my travels to Japan and the local sushi spots decorated throughout Kyoto. Now that I know about Masa, I’ll soon become a regular!

Doesn't look like much from the outside-- they predominantly focus on catering and take out, I think. Eating inside is a treat, however. The sushi chef, the husband, is a master from Japan, and the food shows. The portion is large, perfect temperature. The server, the wife, is the kindest and friendliest, and she works really hard to make you comfortable and get you what you need.

Just moved to the area, looking for a sushi spot. Loved this place! Will be returning! Tuna and salmon sashimi was delish, maki rolls were perfect!!! Edamame and gyoza were very good sizes/portions for the price! Very happy with Masa’s!

The people there are so nice and the sushi was delicious. Inside kind of looks like the table and chairs were an after thought, but it's clean.
