This place is good. Coming from a young lady from Houston, Texas!!! They might have a wait sometimes to get a table but it's worth it. Good it good! Service is good! Drinks are good. I always get the 3 meat combo with 2 sides when I come here🙌🏾😁🙌🏾😁🙌🏾 I can't wait to go back. I come to Rochester when I have to be on work travel but I always stop here. Ribs, cheddar jalapeño sausage, brisket, Mac and cheese, greens comes with free corn bread

Truly the definition of fall off the bone ribs 😍. these were cooked to absolutely PERFECTION and tasted absolutely magnificent. We did a day trip to Buffalo (originally from Toronto) and we saw reviews about this place and had to check it out! we were not disappointed at all !!! From the sliders to the fries and mashed potatoes, everything was delicious. One of the best spots i’ve been to for ribs and i was genuinely impressed AND full. Would visit 100% again! highly recommend to anyone! The service was also top quality as well!

Excellent bbq and nice service staff. My only complaint was our apps arrived about 10min after our entrees, but they were really delicious… so still okay. Highly recommend the wings and the brisket! Fried green tomatoes were pretty good too. Nice spot to pop into.

Stopped in after Buffalo Bison game. Fried Green Tomatoes are yummy! Ordered 3 meat combo. Sides were not as hot as we prefer so sent them back. Without even asking they adjusted our bill. The food was so good that we didn’t care about it not being as hot as we like. Great customer service

-Ribs were one lump of char -Potatoes were not a creamy mash and lacked flavor -I couldn't taste anything over the black pepper in the mac and cheese -Pulled pork was extremely salty If I didn't hate waste so much, I would throw it away. I was told how good this places is. I do not agree. *I followed up after they requested I email them. No reply on their part. 🤷‍♀️

What an awesome place to eat! The waiter was absolutely incredible! So kind; wish I could remember her name! Stopped in driving home from Cleveland; definitely recommend this as a stop if you’re passing through! The devilled eggs were delicious, and I don’t even like eggs! The portions were huge as well! The place gets busy, so I do recommend calling and booking a reservation. Especially if there is a concert near by!

Honestly my favorite thing about this place is the portions. So often you go to a good BBQ place, drop a pretty penny, and get small sandwich and a side. But here your drop, well still a pretty penny, but you get your money's worth. The food was pretty good too, and the sides didn't slack off either, even the dessert was good. Add in a good beer selection and friendly staff and this place is definitely worth stopping by.

Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable regarding the food choices. He was very quick and efficient. Have to pay for parking unless you can get a spot on the street. Food was okay. Ribs were nice and tender except for one piece was kind of hard. Cornbread and Mac & cheese wasn't the best but it was still okay. I was only really interested in the ribs and salad anyway. Was torn between ordering the Cajun catfish or ribs when I first arrived.

We usually go to the Syracuse location on our road trips to NYC and this was our first trip to the Buffalo location while on a day trip... all I can say is wow!! Ribs were so tender and fell off the bone and the brisket was excellent... The bbq fried rice was great... you can't go wrong with anything on the menu... can't wait for our next road trip to Buffalo... will definitely be back!!

We tried a little bit of everything, and our waiter suggested the fried green tomatoes (very good)! There is plenty of food on the 1/2 Family Platter, Brisket was perfect, chicken was juicy, but a little 2 salty, coleslaw, and beans are recommended. Fun atmosphere and decor!

I was really excited to try this restaurant as I saw it featured on the food network many times . My husband ordered the brisket with collard greens , baked beans and cornbread . The brisket was ok - the Smokey flavor overpowered the meat and I was actually disappointed. The star of the dish was the baked beans and cornbread. I ordered a salad with pulled chicken. That was also just ok . The chicken had zero flavor . My daughter ordered chicken wings - those were good. Now , that I went , I probably would not visit again .

The perfect gateway to experiencing American BBQ. Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, Mac n’Cheese, Mashed Potatoes and gravy, Americans know what the heart wants. As a Canadian, BBQ spots like this are rare, so when we’ve come down to Buffalo for the last two months, we’ve made it a mission to come here. The first time we came here was on a whim as we drove back from New York City and wow was it amazing. After driving for so long, this meal did wonders. The Mac n’Cheese is like nothing I’ve had in Canada and wish more restaurants up here did like Americans make it. The mashed potatoes and gravy was just as good, man you Americans do sides justice. As for the meat, I can’t say enough good things. The ribs were excellent, like rib festival type of good. The brisket and pulled pork went really well with the house BBQ sauce. One downside was the chicken, we just felt that compared to the other options it just did not keep up in terms of flavour. The ambience and vibe of the restaurant is what you would envision an American BBQ spot would look like. The service is alright, some servers we’ve had are courteous and check up on us, while some drop menus on the table and walk away without a word. We reviewed it a 4/5 sheerly because upon our second visit to here, we felt that the food was just not as good as the first time all around. The sides and meat were all dryer this time, but the restaurant did seem to be much more busy so it can be slightly understandable. Overall, give this place a shot, because when it’s good, it’s really good.

Passing through and decided to try based on their online menu. Great choice!! We started with 3 appetizers. Creole deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, and the Dino poutine. All were good but the poutine was especially excellent. I ordered the bbs sandwich which is prime brisket, bacon, and Swiss cheese. I got Harlem potato salad and Cajun corn as my sides. My daughter got the pick 3 of chicken, ribs, and pork. And her boyfriend ordered the brisket sandwich. Everything came out hot and tasty. Lots of food so we had to get to go boxes. My daughter wanted to try their pie; she chose the peanut butter pie. Wow it was amazing! So thick and real whipped cream! Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Loved this BBQ Joint Great service. Attentive and good recommendations. Poutine fries were delicious. Ordered the combo platter: ribs, brisket, & pulled pork. Sides: whipped sweet potatoes and Mac n cheese. I thought everything was tasty and tender. Cooked just right. Would go back again and again. Definitely recommend 👍

Went for the wings and they were phenomenal. Best wings I’ve ever had. Smoked, then grilled or put over fire (perfectly crispy and juicy) and all the sauces we tried were delicious. Mac n cheese, brisket, cornbread, poutine, everything we tried was soooo good! Also hands down best ranch I’ve ever had. Service was fantastic, everyone was so nice! And they had some good vegetarian options as well! Zero complaints. 10/10 recommend everyone go there asap.

Stopped here for lunch on our ride from Mentor, OH to Niagra Falls, NY. We had Ashley S. as our server and she was polite, friendly, happy, and always on the spot. The pulled pork and brisket were so packed full of flavor and the fat was perfectly rendered. The BBQ fried rice....I'm so happy I didn't pass up ordering this as a side. It was a pleasant surprise. The Dino Poutine....some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend stopping if you are in the area.

Love the vibe and environment of this establishment. They don't have a cocktail list but do have a full bar. We took our server's advice on the soup of the day, and I also got wings and a roast beef sandwich. Food came out quickly and was very good. All the staff we interacted with was very nice and helpful.

Came all the way from Aftton Wyoming (Buffalo country of the west). Great Bar b que here. Was very impressed even for a late evening meal. Service was very good and the atmosphere has a great vibe

Ribs were some of the best I’ve had !!! Mac & cheese / fried rice not so impressive. My wife liked the brisket & pulled pork a lot as well but again - said her Mac & cheese was disappointing . Potato salad & Corn bread were good !

A great spot for some BBQ! The combo platter came with two choices of meat, two sides, and cornbread. The chicken was juicy and had a great smokey flavor. The brisket was amazing - juicy, tender, and flavorful. This place does amazing brisket. Mashed potatoes were great and the BBQ fried rice was delicious. The half rack of ribs were decent. Unfortunately they weren't the juiciest. Didn't quite fall off the bone. But it wasn't too dry either. I think the BBQ saved the ribs. The fries and the Mac and cheese were really good! Our bartender/waiter was really helpful and attentive. Great service!

A stop at Dino is one of our favourite moments in every visit to Buffalo. It's a cozy joint offering Texas style BBQ. We usually ordered wings, which was great in the land of great chicken wings, but we were feeling rather hungry, so we ordered Family Stylin set instead, with ribs, briskets, and half chicken. It comes with cornbread and two sides, which we picked BBQ fried rice and simmered greens, both at the server's recommendation. The ribs were great, fall of the bones quality, smoked well without being too dry. The chicken were also very good, paired well with the BBQ sauce baste, with the flavours seeping into the meat (instead of being concentrated on the skin). The brisket was a homerun, tender and meaty. All meat items were meant to be enjoyed with the selection of Dino BBQ sauces, which further enhanced the flavours to near perfection. In fact, when we took some leftover items to go, we forgot to take the sauces along with us. We had perfect pair of sides to go with the meal. The fried rice had bits of BBQ meats scattered among perfectly fried rice. The simmered greens were also tasty. Solid recommendations from the server, who also made sure all of our needs were met. This place would be our favourite dig for a long time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this place! We decided to go here based on some other really good reviews and it lived up to the expectation for sure. It wasn't crowded at all and we got a table right away. Our server was friendly and prompt which I appreciated. The food was absolutely fantastic! I had the BBS and my daughter and her Dad had the pulled pork sandwich which was also great. We had fries, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese as our sides and they were all really good especially the mashed with gravy. The portion sizes were large and I didn't think I'd be able to finish my meal but honestly, the brisket was so melt in your mouth amazing that I ended up eating every last bite! If you're looking for good BBQ in the city, definitely try this place out. We will be returning for sure!!

I have been to the location in Newark, NJ back before it was shut down, so I had an idea of what I was getting into. It’s a solid spot for bbq food. Bigger portions and a good selection of beers. The waitstaff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The prices were good considering it was in a city. I am not too sure about the parking situation because we walked from the hotel.

Anytime I'm out there I MUST come back! It was all full of flavor which I should have already known since I could smell it as I walked down the street. We cleared the nachos right as the food came and were both very happy with our meals. This place doesn't hold back not even the pickles or jalapenos are basic here. I recommend trying the brisket tacos 🤤

Fabulous Poutine with authentic BBQ, a tasty brew, good conversation in a wonderfully decorated, historic venue. Built for use by Universal Studios to store their film archives, when film was stored in temperature controlled rooms! The bar staff mentioned that the floor ca.e from a 'Crayola' crayons factory, she teased me when the sun warms the floor you can smell the Crayons!!! A great family venue, I'm so glad I walked down the street from the ALoft to find this wonderful place.

The BRISKET, CORN, and MAC AND CHEESE was delicious. The BRISKET had a perfect pink smoke ring around it😋😍 The SLIDERS were ok. The BRISKET was entirely too thick for the little buns. CHOPPED BRISKET or thinly SLICED BRISKET would have been a better compliment. This was an extremely busy night and one of the few restaurants open downtown Buffalo, NY. They accommodated a last minute 9pm reservation and cleared a table for us. They get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Great food, great service. Mary was such a sweetheart server, please ask for her if you can! I live in Canada but will be back in a heartbeat. The amount of food you get for what you pay is unreal. They ran out the chicken that was supposed to come with our meal, so they gave us grilled chicken instead. The kitchen staff felt so bad they came out to sincerely apologize & the manager working felt bad and gave us some drinks on the house. Won’t even lie the meal we ordered was so much food we took it home and had leftovers 😂 (for more than 1 day).
