We both had gyros (one beef/lamb, one chicken) and fries. It was a short wait during the lunch crush but fast service as soon as a table was available. Great food, reasonable price, wonderful styling throughout the restaurant (including bathroom) and a good experience overall. Fries were especially good though I can’t put my finger on their secret.

The best "scrambled" eggs I've ever had at a restaurant! No brown, moist, soft and buttery! My issue was the pancakes, who ever made them 🤦‍♀️ cooked them too early, then left them in the window too long one of them was HARD, couldn't eat it! And it also had onions on it, come on now! They're supposed to be cooked on different parts of the flat top my dude/dudette! The lamb is amazingly tender and beautifully cooked, it just needs more flavor. The breakfast potatoes could also use seasoning and care. The mimosas are a perfect size!

Food is usually good. I have been going to Kostas my whole life. Breakfast is solid. Souvlakis are very good, wish they offered a pork souvlaki option. Portions are usually generous. Vibe can be a little stuffy sometimes.

If I could give the restaurant 10 stars I would . I visited for the first time on my birthday . The 15min wait was more like 5mins . The food was delicious , the portions were plentiful , the atmosphere was inviting and temperature comfortable , the restaurant was very clean and the servers were all polite and helpful . I will definitely be back again . Thank you Kostas :)

Great food at a great price. Even though we were only there for brunch. the food and service were amazing. If you are in town for a few days, I would highly recommend it. The "breakast pair" is a favorate as well as the "eggs and lox." They have vegan alternatives such as the beet salad, which was also very good.

Good food, good service and a comfortable place to dine. It's easy to see why Kostas has a loyal following. We just enjoyed a nice brunch here. Gyro breakfast was a ton of food and was a protein filled feast. The "House Special Breakfast" was also excellent.

It was my first time dining at Kostas and it won't be my last. Our dinner party consisted of 4 and we opted to eat inside instead of the patio. Once we were Inside the hostess greeted us and asked if we'd like a booth or table. We decided the table would be best and we're seated right away. The air conditioning was set for the right temperature and the inside is clean and well decorated. The waitress did not make us wait and we immediately put in our orders. We starred with the appetizer and drinks. The hummus and warm pita were delicious. Homemade hummus for sure. I ordered a blody Mary which tasted refreshing and had just the right amount of kick to it. The three of us ordered the chicken slavaki and one guest ordered the mediterian chicken All 4 plates were heaped full of food and we all had plenty to take with us. The chicken was moist delicious and the Greek potatoes were served in a large bowl. I know I will be getting cravings for these potatoes and I'll have to come back for more! Were were all stuffed to the max but I did order some baklava to bring home. Needless to say I was happy I did because these are your Grandma's baklava. Flaky phylo stacked up high with the roasted nut mixture served with honey on the side. It was a Friday evening when we visited Kostas and it was extremely busy but we did not have a long wait. Our server was friendly helpful and took good care of us. Thank you Kostas we'll be back

We stopped here to eat brunch on our way to Niagara Falls and omg our food was so delicious. They gave us alot of food to eat and the service was great. You never really have leftovers for breakfast but this place makes sure you do. I recommend the French toast😋... nice and crispy👌🏾👍🏾!

We came here for breakfast before a bills game. The food was great, but most importantly, we had some of the best service I’ve received at an establishment. We were a group of very needy people with a 10 year old boy who wanted endless whipped cream on his hot cocoa. We had Marissa as our server and she was incredible. She was attentive to refills, answered questions with a smile on her face (that you could tell even with a mask on), and just took really good care of us. She was just great. Couldn’t say enough good things about her. Thank you so much, Marissa!

We visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after visiting the Buffalo zoo. I don't give perfect reviews very often but this restaurant and our server deserve that. From the front end manager to the hostess that seated us to our server and the staff that brought the food out, this was a wonderful experience. I'm very familiar with Greek food. My souvlaki salad with gyro meat was Authentic. Our server, Shaina, was a delight. Highly recommended!

So Kostas is one of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. As an adult, I eat here 2-3 times a month whether it’s dine in or takeout. The last 2 times I ordered take out, it has born horrible and I have been unable to eat the meals. I will add pics of a rotted salad they gave me, as well as an undercooked order of spaghetti. You cannot tell it’s undercooked by the pics, but after 2 bites I threw it in the garbage. Such a waste of my hard earned money.

Overall breakdown was good! However my corned beef and hash was perfect! Early you get a great spot in the patio that has covering but open swing windows!

Tasty as all get out. Portions are huge, service is outstanding. Greg/Craig did an excellent job with our large party. I dare ya to finish your whole plate!

This is without question of the best restaurants in Buffalo. Their meat is always delicious, portions always generous, and service always fast and top notch. I usually eat in for dinner and food is always amazing. This is the only restaurant that I can never finish my meal and trust me, I eat a lot. The prices are also incredible. I have never had the breakfast but it always looks amazing at other tables. No not sleep on this place!!!

We were hungry after visiting the zoo and found this gem close to the area. So glad we did! It was the highlight of our Buffalo arrival. We were greeted by nice and friendly hostesses, that took us to our table and then got a nice, friendly and attentive server (Michael) whom made our meal more enjoyable. He checked on us regularly and was helpful with any menu questions we had. The restaurant is super busy and gets crowded, but the food and service made the wait worthwhile. We had the Souvlaki Breakfast with Chicken and Stuffed Pita (added chicken) with fries and both were delish! The chicken was seasoned nicely and it was super moist and tasty! The pita was loaded with feta cheese and it made it so good! Coffee tasted good as well. Thank you for an a great tasting meal and great service!

This has been a staple on Hertel for decades. The recipes have stayed consistent over the years. I always get the Saganaki or beef souvlaki because they never let me down. This time was no different, excellent as usual. Fast, excellent service, and memorable food.

Had a truly enjoyable dinner here. We had a party of 9 and our server never missed a beat and handled our group expertly. The food was also fantastic and every thing we ordered was great tasting and our orders were correct and served hot. Really great place for a good meal.

Come here for brunch! Eggs are cooked perfectly, pancakes are warm and fluffy, good portions of bacon. The fresh squeezed orange juice was wonderful. You can sit indoors or outside. Parking is limited but that is to be expected for the area. The staff was welcoming and great at what they do.

On our way back from Niagara Falls we stopped at the Buffalo zoo and needed somewhere to eat. We came across Kostas and we are so glad we decided to stop in. Amazing service and even more amazing food. We enjoyed everything even our kids enjoyed the food. We would 100% recommend going here if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed. So glad we didn’t end up at Dennys instead.

Well this is long overdue! Kostas doesn't seem to disappoint and has made my random visits more frequent. The food is delicious and consistent, whether dining in or taking out and the portions are definitely fair. If you don't have a large appetite, you are definitely going to have left overs. I've dined breakfast, lunch, and dinner and there are plenty of great options. The staff always seems friendly and ready to assist and you often see the owner helping customers as well, which can be rare at most establishments. Definitely a humble owner who seems to be appreciated and supported by his community. Keep being great Kostas!

The skimpy $9 glass of cheap wine did it for me. For that I would just give it one star. I have never been served such a skimpy amount for that price in a restaurant before. Even after I mentioned it to the waitress, she kinda shrugged it off. Total rip off. I guess, just don't get their wine because at very least the food is okay (a little overpriced for such simple food though).

Came in today for Valentine's Day lunch. We had the calamari to start. Super hot and fresh. Good cuts. I ordered my sandwich with no mushrooms, and it came out with mushrooms. Our server kindly took it back so the cooks could pick off all the mushrooms and rearrange my plate to look new 😂 I only have a mild food allergy, no worries!! I'm writing this, so all is well ❤️ Haven't been there in years, was nice to go see some friendly smiles with no masks! I'll gladly pick our my own mushrooms next time, just to be around those friendly faces again!! Thank you for letting your employees live life, and be able to breathe freely while working!

Been ages since I've went here but the food's still good indeed. The gyrodillas were delightful, I haven't had anything quite like them and I'll be back for more. Nice ambience and price.
