Nice park, well kept. A few bottles but could have just been left. Splash pad is big

Its so therapeutic by the water and the rush of the water streaming down the lake. First time today visiting and will definitely coming back as long as the weather stays decent. Very good place for meditating. Hidden treasure. I have lived around this area for over 30 years and never crossed my mind to come here.

I was here for the Taken It To The Streets Festival. It was a wonderful festival at MLK park. The park was clean and fun. It was probably the safest park you could be at. Right in the heart of Buffalo NY, yet very safe. It was very clean and everyone was really nice. They have a lot of things for young people to enjoy. Plus the picnic areas for cooking and spending family time. If your hot they have a huge water area. It's just a beautiful park. I really enjoyed being there and festival or not I will go there just to enjoy the park.

Considering it's Buffalo, it is a great place for family. Buffalo's Mayor Brown really needs to clean up his city. Buffalo is not far from Niagara Falls. I really don't understand why it has to be so run down. It can be a great tourist place to visit.

I just love this park. Hoyt Lake is very pretty and the park has a fantastic vibe that I love. It’s hard to describe but it’s a wonderful feel to the place. We love to ride our bike around the lake and I’ve even caught some fish there

MLK park/Splash Pad is One of my favorite places to go with my kids on a hot, sunny day..they always make new friends; there's a beautiful vibe here of family and safety. I also love the diversity, people of all ethnicities come to BBQ, bike ride and cool off in the splash pad. I always have some throwbacks playing while watching all the kids play...transports me back to the 90's when I would play outside with neighborhood friends. This was a fun Memorial Day Weekend

There wasn't a lot of activity when I was at the park, but it was very clean. I tried to post five stars, but my app won't let me.

We have our family reunion here almost every year since I was a kid. Love this park. The playground is a great place for all of the children to have some fun. And the splashpad is a wonderful way to stay cool.

Perfect for a stroll or a quick walk, there's benches all around to eat and snack while your kids play in the playground. Very nice and relaxing experience with all the grass and trees around you. Can take hoverboard or electric scooter too.

Good parade this year it's been awhile due to COVID-19 we couldn't have the festival however everything was great even the Buffalo Police were very polite and concerned for the lost children. Awesome this year the best of all time.

Childhood memories. Now that I finally have a son I want him to come here and love it like I did. Science museum right next door too? This place was my sanctuary when I was a kid and people used to allow us to go places on our own.

I like the setting, it's a nice Big Pool Area. However, there's only a few sprinklers on. Most of the kids are crowded around the few available ones. When they built it, they should have incorporated some more WATER FUN EQUIPMENT for the KIDS. It also seems that the bathrooms in the locker room should be open, like they do in the suburbs. No One wants to use a Outhouse.

This park is totally inviting. Avarity of things to choose from on a daily basis while in the park. There is aerobic classes, east-side slow roll, beautiful walking places/& sceneries, etc. Park is also kept extremely clean.

Was there for an event. It was very clean and taken care of. Some of the individuals playing ball could have chosen more appropriate language, especially having young kids around.

Love this park, it's gotten fixed up and beautiful again little by little. I was up here on Saturday for the Juneteenth. It was a great event, but as usual, there were a few fights happening, and despite heavy police and security presence, it didn't get dissolved fast enough. There were some areas where multiple police and security guards were too congested in my opinion, and there were whole sections where there was no police. There needs to be a better dispersement. Also, there was an incident where I overheard a child was missing and with the police for over 2 hours, and it seemed like they weren't adamant enough on finding the parents in my opinion. I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for a concerned community member walking through the crowds herself.

Beautiful park to walk around in and relax. Well cared for. And a great Bike riding destination. Also, while you are there, check out the awesome Science museum in the parks back yard.
