I have had to come here for various reasons and never had any issues. There is a valet that costs similar to the parking garage and the garage is located right across the street and has a walkway to the institute that is covered. There is a coffee shop located on the ground floor, a little shop near the entrance with items you need or want plus other gifts to buy and a cafeteria on the 1st. There is also an atm on the 1st floor as some things you might need or want. If you want to look around during appointment wait times there is a area with benches, sculptures and more located outside to the left before entering the building (on the right when leaving) that is very nice.

The Doctors here are incredible. Saved my father's life. I really can't say enough about the level of care received here. It was comforting through everything. It was so scary taking him the first appointment but everyone was there with open arms. I hope someday they find a cure, everybody has lost so much to cancer. They included me in everything and kept me in the loop through each step. I hope you never end up here, but if you do, come to Roswell Park.

I just want to say that we are so blessed to have this Cancer center here in Buffalo. Today at my yearly appointment every person I can in contact with was so friendly and kind. They all went above their job to help me. Mary from Dr. Cappuccino office was excellent. She arranged for me to have an extra test today so I would not be stressed waiting for another year to have it. It impressed me that they just want to make sure you are well taken care of. Also both of my technicians Alicia and Beth were very kind helpful and friendly. I would not go anywhere else now for my mammograms. Thank you you are the best!!

They did a wonderful thing with me. The Dr.s were excellent and had a plan for me that worked. The nurses in the infusion area were very special caring people and made a potentially scary experience easier. All of the staff that I met were kind and helpful. The staff in phlebotomy were very good at their jobs and that was a potentially scary experience made better.

Dr Fung and his people were awesome, but when I had to take my mom to her other appointment with the other Dr not only did they call her back 30 minutes late, but then the first Dr didn't even get to my mom until almost 1230pm when her appointment was at 11. Then when I finally got to talk to someone that said they were a manager her response "we always run late". So I guess the only people who work and have bills to pay and have other important responsibilities must be the employees at Roswell because the patients' time doesn't matter to them.

I was at Roswell this morning for my yearly CT scan. I am always só impressed with kindness and helpfullness of every single employee I encounter. This not only includes medical personel but also greeters, parking ramp attendees, and other staff. It is such an uplifting environment.

Upon arrival at 2:30 p.m, went to my scheduled phlebotomy procedure ; their work was very efficiently done by 2:45. Arrived at the 2nd floor for my 3:00 pm CT scan appointment. The "checking in", , needle insertion, and CT procedure were all professionally performed by 3:45. All those whom I came in contact with were courteous, friendly, and professional. This visit was pleasantly completed, the valet service brought my vehicle around, and I was on my way home I by 4:00.

I always have great experiences at Roswell. Everyone in the Thoracic clinic, is always attentive, and they always ask if I have any questions or concerns about test results, or chemotherapy routine. Everyone up in Infusion, do the very same. I'm incredibly grateful for Roswell and all the doctors and nurses there

The advance practice provider as well as my urology physician were both very affable and thorough. They both took time to answer my questions to my satisfaction. They probably had a very busy schedule, but I did not feel rushed. I only wish that my appointment would have gone in a more timely fashion. My appointment was at 1 PM and by the time I left the hospital it was 2:45 PM and it was only an office visit without any procedures.

I am sorry to say that my experience with Roswell Park was not positive.Until the last 6 hours of my significant other's life, the staff did not respond to the needs to help my SO stay comfortable. I requested a consult with the Palliative Care Team, and was told that they will "squeeze us in". I left that message on 08/09/22. The Palliative Care Team offered an appointment on 09/23/22. My SO finally received wonderful care from the PET Scan staff and ICU staff and those were the last 6 hours of his life on 08/09/22. My opinion is that it is a research hospital and if you're not a candidate because your cancer is too far advanced, you're put on the back burner.

This facility deserves no stars Staff including dr, nurses, nursing manager and social worker are incompetent They treat patients and family worse than trash ! And lie about what medications are actually used for Reaching a MD is impossible While my mother was dying the nurses were in nursing station across the hall laughing. There is no support or compassion for patients and family. If they treat family worse then trash how are they treating sick patients who can’t fight back ? If you or loved one is diagnosed with cancer, go elsewhere ! Even Buffalo’s Jim Kelly went elsewhere

As much as I do not like going to Roswell for obvious reasons... I do love the care and service that the incredible staff provides, from the parking garage attendant, to the volunteers, to the phlebotomists, to the receptionists, to the nursing staff, to the PA and Physicians! We are lucky to have them- THANK YOU for all you do to care for us!

We are extremely fortunate to have such a great cancer center so close to Buffalo, NY. They provide exceptional care with some of the best doctors available anywhere. I'm one person who benefitted twice from their expertise and quality of care by their dedicated patient oriented staff. I highly recommend!

Roswell always provides excellent care. I have a love/hate relationship with them because of the circumstances. Today was no different. I didn't want to go but knew I had to. The women that checked me in and checked me out were very friendly and efficient. My nurse, Mikaela was upbeat and kind. Ruth in Dermatology was thorough and explained every step to me. I have nothing but great things to say about the entire staff. Most definitely A plus people skills as well as medical care. Thank you ALL!

I recently had a lymph node biopsy at Roswell Park and everything went smoothly and professionally. Results were quick. The nurses and doctors were top notch. Although an unpleasant test, it went as well as it could have. Thank you for that.

I've been going to Roswell for my mammogram for the last 5 years and the staff are very professional. The appointment flows well, you're in and out within 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Flores is amazing! She listens, does thorough exam. And she really cares. I don’t know any other doctor like her. I’m having some issues and she was able to reassure and put my mind at ease. Debbie, my nurse was fantastic, she also listened and reassured me. We are very fortunate to have such excellent care givers in the survivors clinic. THANK YOU!

The entire Dermatology staff at Roswell Park are friendly, knowledgeable, and work together as a team providing excellent care. Dr Lima and Dr Brady are top notch. I would have no reservations recommending them to family members and friends.

I have been a patient at Roswell since April of 2021. I have received the best, most professional, compassionate care every step of the way. I have done my best to follow my Dr.'s instructions closely and I feel as though they have done a great job of giving me a great second chance with a high quality of life.

2 calls about the same issue that I felt needed to be looked at. Second call and nurse said to come right in!!!!! Chloe looked at my stitches and removed. 5 minute job and she was happy to take care of it. Different from the first call when they said it would be fine. Chloe 4 stars!!

very friendly and highly competent caregivers. lovely campus outside: gardens, fountains, flowers, walking paths, outdoor art. beautiful interiors, lots of lounging areas, beautiful comfortable furniture, art on walls, live music occasionally, nice gift shop, snack bars and coffee shops in various locations inside buildings. employees seems to be happy and have been thru good training programs. constant upgrades and improvements in the clinic lay-outs. Great place to receive your cancer care.

I know Roswell Park has an excellent reputation and I am sure it is deserved in some cases. However, I am not pleased with what happened during my breast cancer surgery at Roswell. First the good things. My breast surgeon, Dr. poss, was excellent. However, the plastic surgeon recommended by roswell that was assigned to me gave me unsatisfactory care. Dr. Ozturk would be fine for someone who has no other medical conditions. However, she is a very poor choice. If you are a Type 1 diabetic like I am, or have any other chronic conditions. Dr. Ozturk is completely clueless about diabetes. She was obsessed with infection risk for me because on the day of surgery the anxiety and stress made my sugar go to 300. Although this is a high sugar, my A1Cs run between 6.5 and 7, which is very good. Control. Infections do not happen because of one day of high sugar, especially if there is a reason for it. They happen from having prolonged high sugars and pour a1c control. On the day of my mastectomy, she refused to start my reconstruction process during the operation. Although I told her I wanted her to continue with the reconstruction part of the surgery, when I woke up, it had not been done. This means that I am now facing an additional surgery, which is of course more risky than one day of high blood sugar. Addition, I have chosen another institute. To handle my next surgery. They told me if I had come to them first I could have done a lot more with that first surgery. I would have only needed some touch-up work afterwards. Now I have another whole surgery to do. In addition, they offer much more experience with flap reconstruction. They are telling me that this procedure with their team can be done in 4 hours. Very safely, well at Roswell. It would be a 12-hour procedure, and very risky. I feel that ECMC cancer team is much more advanced than Roswell is when it comes to breast cancer and reconstruction, especially when dealing with patients with other chronic conditions. If you are a type one diabetic with breast cancer, please go to ECMC cancer institute. They have much more experience with working with patients who are not your typical cases.

I had a wonderful visit today with my new Survivorship doctor and nurses. I learned so much about what to expect and look for and all of my questions were answered. Dr. Flores was so pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt so comfortable with her. I have always had a fantastic experience at Roswell and I encourage all to spend one day with them!

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is great! They are thorough, efficient, and — most importantly — incredibly kind. I had four appointments there today and every single person I interacted with was professional and friendly. I am fortunate to live close to this extraordinary resource.

I was treated on a holiday. The employees from the dispatcher, to the nurses that set up the appointment, the secretary, the nurse and physicians assistant were tremendous. They all treated me with the utmost respect and provided the care that they would provide to a family member. God bless them all. Thank you!

My experience was outstanding. Despite the small size of the waiting area the staff was cordial and polite. The wait time was used for data entry and moved along efficiently. The escort to the examination room and the professional staff were superb There was no delay in the completion of the examination process The professional staff were informative and responsive. No delays Great professional service. The highest possible rate.

I was disappointed with care at Roswell Park today. First of all my appt. Was scheduled 10:00a.m. I arrived 9:37a.m. I did not get waited on until 12:00. The The care I received from the technology doc. Was not satisfactory. He incompetent with his work procedures. I ask to file a complaint, and the receptionist stated she would contact someone. This person was in charge of the technology team in the department. I explain to him that the person who was assign to perform the Injection was incompetent , Did not know how to proceed , he try twice a nd I ask for a another assistant. Roswell Park need to evaluate personnel to determine if they are qualified for the job, before they are hired. Patient should not be used as experimental object, due to Incompetent worker.

I have been going to Roswell for over 4 years. Everyone is very nice. They treat you very well whether you have thousands of dollars 💸 or nothing. The best care. Stage 4 larynx cancer. I didn't have a great prognosis. I am quite certain without Head and Neck Treatment Center I might not be alive. I am very qreatfull for every single person that took part in caring for me God Bless 🙌 🙏 ❤

From day one every Doctor and their teams have been wonderfully caring and supportive. From Dr Hicks my surgeon to Dr.Lamonica my nuclear medicine specialist, every step taken was thoroughly explained and perfectly executed. Leaving me totally at ease at this trying time. I feel as though there is no other option than to come to Roswell Park if you ever face a cancer diagnosis!

From the day I first walked through the doors of Roswell Park every staff member from maintenance to Doctors have all treated me with utmost kindness and respect. The medical staff are very well trained in not only the medical aspect of their positions but they all have empathy for their patients. Surviving cancer is not just possible through science, but mental positivity. And that is what you get at Roswell Park. They care.
