👍👍 It really lives up to its name, taste of home. Overall homely vibe, with great food, awesome service and wonderful food. To be honest we ended up ordering a bit too much. The braised pork belly set was amazing, just the right taste, add on the preserved veg's each mouthful feels heavenly. The next... People often mention home, foods,

It really lives up to its name, taste of home. Overall homely vibe, with great food, awesome service and wonderful food. To be honest we ended up ordering a bit too much. The braised pork belly set was amazing, just the right taste, add on the preserved veg's each mouthful feels heavenly. The next dish worth mentioning is their braised pork belly bun. The bun's texture was so soft and if you're thinking why is there peanuts in it, trust me after taking a bite you'll want more peanuts in it. For some reason it completes the taste. Do order their chai kuih too, both flavours are wonderful and with the thin skin, hard to find good ones nowadays. Overall wonderful time there with great food. As usual, come in early else it will be a pain to find parking.

Great food, very fast service and nice place. Food was quite close to authentic Taiwanese style, and the kueh was good.

I noticed this hidden gem restaurant when I visited a nearby eatery. I was attracted to it as I walk pass the outside of the restaurant. The setting is quite heritage yet seem homely. So I tried to seek some info from the google review and found that Chu Bee seem like serving Taiwanese like cuisine. So I purposely come back to try out the foods after reading some really interesting comments from other reviewers. It was quite hard to select that one meal in this first visit. Everything in the menu just so tempting and on spot to my likeness. Eventually I picked the 1st dish in the menu also one of their signature dish. The Ru Rou rice set; comes with a full meal portion and accompany with a side of home-made meat ball seaweed soup, small portion of pickle that enhance and lighten the appetite while having the stew meat, final wrap up with a good enough portion of pumpkin barley dessert. I am satisfied and feeling fed just like at home. I enjoyed every elements served on the plate especially the meat balls in the soup. Love it!! This is real homely comfort foods which I can really feel the passion from the chef whom takes food quality and freshness into serious consideration. From the foods she served, I can tell the chef loves foods and she wish her diners enjoyed the same. Came in at an odd hour for late lunch, I manage to chat abit with the friendly and passionate owner cum chef. The chef was really nice and here I got to know the menu were inspired by her home cook recipe even though some dishes led me to think it was Taiwanese cuisine. Now I would say this is Chu Bee home-cook without MSG but love. I was told that this place is packed during lunch hour by the local and frequent diners whom know this hidden home-cook gem. Will come back again to try out one dish at a time. And glad to find another good spot to hang out for nice comfort meals. The second and subsequent visit tried different foods in the menu, all are delicious and fulfilling. Never could have enough and always wants to come back.

Small place, you feel like home. Great smooth and quiet atmosphere. We had the signature set meal, which was really well presented, refined taste. We are street food lovers, but that moment was really enjoyable. BRAVO!!
