Penang's favourite 'bak kwa' shop! I like it that it's a proud Penang brand and the store keep on innovating on different bak kwa taste, like this year there's a Mala and Tomyam taste that is addictive and tasty! Support a local brand, come Penang and try Tuck Kee!

First time in Penang and went to the famous chowrasta market, passed by the Tuck Kee stall in the market and smells the very tempting dried meat. Gave it a try, it was so good as the meat is so juicy and fresh! Its CNY festive so I got some as a gifts back to KL for my friends and family! The boss let me try their pork floss, the taste is so much better than the bee cheng hiang and oloiya!!! I love it

Tuck Kee Bakkwa I would say is a must try in Chowrasta Market! The friendly boss served us and told us that their Bakkwa is grilled by charcoal the traditional way every morning. he also share with us about his son used to help him when he was young and now he moved to London started his own fashion business name self portrait! The boss is so proud of the son and framed his son's photos all in the shop!

Indonesian customer here. Whoever need to get pork meat as souvenir from Penang, I’ll recommend you this shop. The store is so clean. It has display racks with price list on every product, so you can easily choose whatever u like. I visited this store accidentally on October 2022, when walking around Chowrasta Market. Turned out get some pork bacon, skin, and floss. All of them are well packed for flight. Didnt know that it’s really tasty! Esp the bacon, OMG new obsession. So when my friend tells me that she’s going to go Penang, of course I ask her to bring me some bacon more. Will regularly ask someone later then! (Bonus the bacon, laying on Indonesian home food platter) :p

Visit Tuckkee in the noon hour when the morning market is closed, which is more convenient for me cause morning hour the Chowrasta market is so packed and hardly get a parking. Tried their CNY special gold coin, it taste so different with other brand. The meat taste very special with the taste of lap cheong, unlike other brand just normal bakkwa taste. They only do it during CNY, worth trying!

Their slice dried meat is superb! Taste a bit similar with our Singapore brand Lim Chee Guan, the traditional taste. The shape may be a bit odd but the taste is pretty good! so dont judge the book by its cover! :D btw, the pork floss is good too, very crispy!

Expensive and arrogant. Staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Since they pride of producing everything themselves, we sked for advice and only to be given repeated answers of item names without any helpful explanation. Time to tone down the pride or get someone with a least more passion.
