It's OK.. the food and beverage menu is good. Ambience varies.. noisy and fully packed during weekends, weekdays are opposite. Two less stars only because of the customer service. Weird rules and policies.. no laptop allowed. We switched it on for 2mins due to urgency but they immediately asked us to shut it down. The reason not clear! To avoid lengthy hours of sitting? Or to avoid overutilisation of their WiFi!? None of the factors are reasonable enough! People are any which ways occupying the seats for hours and WiFi consumption is not limited to laptops only right? We ordered good amount of food and drinks and intended to finish a quick work after spending 40mins chatting and eating. Still we have been instructed not to use the laptop even after requesting them logically. Not done! Inside pics not taken as we left the place quite dissapointedly.

Nice ambience at railway mall but service from the manager could have been more welcoming. Their chocolate croissant is a complete let down it is so hard and difficult to even cut through.

Vegetarian food availability: 1 star There is no vegetarian food except the horrible, overpriced pasta. Good ice blend and mediocre pasta. We went here for lunch and it was really expensive. The pasta felt raw and the sauce was not that good. The ice blend without caffeine was good though. There is not many vegetarian options over here especially for lunch and dinner. There is only a pasta. It was disappointing to see an international food company not catering to a stainable amount of vegetarian diners. Overall, never coming back.

Have their 1 for 1 breakfast of Chicken Brioche sandwich. It is value for money since it cost $10.90 for 2. Service is a bit slow though.

Cafe converted to study place. Everyone (young ppl) was using laptop hogging the seats. Do not recommend to families. We came with kids who wanted to dine in. Too bad u guys lose customers. Unfriendly staff afraid to chase people who hog table more than 60mins. Update: Dropped by on wkend again all customers hogging the seats using laptop. Goodbye, Coffeebean. Heard some other cafes banned studying in their premises on weekends. 😉

$15 for all day breakfast but gave us microwaved eggs ??? Can understand if service was slow due short of manpower but staff were dismissive too.

Coldest place on earth. Anyway, had their cookies and cream mint cake. Hardly any mint flavour and lacked cookies and cream, so it was basically a choc cake. Their cheesecake is still god tier compared to another rival coffee chain. Hazelnut ice latte is yummy.

I have been to so many Coffee bean outlets and this one has the worst server with poorest service (the woman who worked morning shift at 830am). I ordered the breakfast set and she said it comes with “Only Americano” and didn’t even ask if I wanted hot or cold. It’s stated clearly in the poster that we can also choose today’s brew but she didn’t bother to inform and just say all others will charge and show me a proud face. Management needs to look into their service training.

24h, serve breakfast. Food was average, taste like prepare from central kitchen and microwave it. Will not recommend unless no other options.

Good hangout outlet but always hard to get a seat during weekends nites. Patrons not leaving when they are done. Hogging seats, playing mobile games, studying etc. Management needs to deal with this.

The breakfast menu portions & variety were really good. Place was clean and toilet was surprisingly clean. One thing however that you guys can work on to make the experience better is to work on your eggs. They were really dry!

Understandable that the food took a longer waiting time due to PH, but quality wasnt worth the wait, eggs seemed to be microwaved, sunny side up eggs were almost fully boiled/cooked, even the scrambled eggs had a rubbery texture. First time experiencing this kind of service here after visiting this outlet for years.

Dined in on the morning of 29th June 2023. We understood that it was a PH and they were probably short on staff but service was not just slow and inefficient; the food was horrible. We ordered 5 meals, 4 drinks and 1 cake. We were told that it’ll take 30mins — so we just waited. The drinks were made first but when we went to collect from the counter, there were so many drinks and food on the collection counter. And when we got back to our table, we had to open the lid of the hot cup to check the drinks. (there were no indications/markings on the cup to state what is in the cup.) 2/5 meals came out within the half hour — sausage & eggs and the eggs ben. waited additional 10 mins after for the next meal — scrambled eggs. then came the shokupan toast — which also had eggs. and much later, came the caesar salad — also with supposedly a sunny side up egg. usually they serve with hard boiled egg but idk man maybe its different all the time. person behind the counter asked if i needed the cutleries to eat my salad when i asked for cutleries. (then i use what bro? my hands?) ALLLLLLL of the eggs looked like they were microwaved. I’m not a chef but I am positive poached eggs, sunny side up and hard boiled eggs are DIFFERENT. refer to photos for the eggs that were in our plates. they were all fully cooked. even the scrambled eggs were so rubbery and dry. only the sunny side up on the shokupan toast looked slightly better albeit the yolk alrdy burst before we collected them. the cake only came because as i was collecting the salad, i told the guy that we havent gotten our cake. all in all we waited over an hour for microwaved food that didnt even taste good. i have patronised this outlet so many times over the past years. and this was not it man. ps but i love CBTL for using Oatside as your milk alternative. sis love a good matcha oatmilk latte. +1 star solely for that.

Delivery took so long and delivery grab has negative attitude. Unavailable items was still advertised and by the time customer want to cancel order, was informed merchant has started preparing whereas the order was less a minute ago. Food packaging was terrible. The salad dressing was not separated and portion was so low and many ingredients are not served as usually seen. Cake that ordered was not delivered and not received. Terrible services.

Understaffed => Poor Service => Need to clean tables with dried chilli sauce => Breakfast discouraged by staff because too many orders => Pastry dry & not heated. Probably another overpriced property that's forcing operators to stinge on service & quality.

Not all Coffee Beans are created equal, and they certainly aren't so as each outlet matures. The first distinctive I immediately noticed when I pushed open the doors to this 24-hour outlet was how cold the place was. The window panes were fogging up too. That's definitely not the Coffee Bean I would experience in Suntec, Novena Square, Cuscaden Road, Jurong Point, and other locations. My point is: the chill I faced here is so memorable it is easily a feature of this CBTL. So, please bring a jacket! Secondly, it's not difficult to observe how consistent the baristas are with their drinks. My hot mocha lattes have been served in their rich, thick glory for all the times I have been there. Now, I need to clarify: while I note the negative reviews other customers made about their egg dishes, I have never tried them, so I would not know how consistent they are.

Please train ur staff properly. Taking her own sweet time to pack the cake and took the wrong cake. If there’s a lot of people I can still understand, but there’s no one queuing. And in the end, she gave me a broken plastic bag. Expecting me to use that to carry 2 boxes of cake.

Visited on Sunday late afternoon. Nice place, friendly and helpful staff. Yuzu Osmanthus cake is light and fragrant. Tables and seats were clean, however the toilets need some cleaning up.

Came in around 6.50am in the morning, the café was empty so staff was not busy at all. However, attitude was bad and impatient. Ordered a creamy mushroom fusilli but staff swapped to spaghetti without informing. Only found out because I was paying attention to the order screen. During the entire order process, staff was very dismissive. Ordered pasta, but they gave me a knife to eat with it. How? Food was microwaved so you can’t go wrong with that, tastes decent.

Really poor service for average at best food. Ordered the waffles platter. Took 25 minutes to prepare on a weekday morning when the outlet wasn't even busy. The server didn't bother to offer cutlery and started serving other customer. Had to ask for cutlery. The hasbrows were cold and soggy and the eggs were meh... Won't really recommend. Better off at McDonald's.

It matters who manages the store. Its not a busy place. Its ulu and services laid back. No queue. After seeing many drinks made lijely online orders. I cancelled mine because i cant wait. The manager cant even manage a smile or say anything related to customer service. Wasted ny parking fee there to grab a QUICK coffee

Very poor customer service. I paid for a dine-in set meal (pasta) and the cashier gave me a token without checking whether seats were available for dine-in. When I highlighted to them that there were no seats available they asked me to wait and left me standing for a good half hour.there were tables nearby which could have been set up for me but they did nothing about it. Fed up of waiting after 30 mins I asked for a refund. The service staff in this outlet don't care about their customers. Why should I pay premium prices for such shoddy service. Please avoid this place like the plague. You deserve better.

A nice place to chill after a long walk / trail. A 24 hour coffee / tea place that is definitely worth a stop, maybe even before that long walk / trail. This is located just beside the carpark of the Rail Mall. The rail mall is not a big multi storey complex, but more of a shophouse concept. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is located exactly just beside d mural drawn. And as u can understand, this is at the corner shop or the 1st shop. View from the inside displays the rail bridge that the old train used to pass through in the past. Those seniors or anyone who had taken the old train before, will definitely remember amd reminisce the past here. It was not as pretty as now back then.. But, setting up the current outlook will instill certain memories in a person, where they can relate certain stories to the younger generation. Bring along your kids and parents here for a chilling time and share past stories to relive the old Singapore stories and tales. Cheers!

Poor service. Bad food. Customer service practically ignore you unless you up to her face to shout your order. I ordered chicken creamy pasta. No vegetables at all. Just cheese,pasta and sauce. And it's definitely not cheap. While I was eating an uncouth customer service guy came and removed chairs for my table.Completely ruined my dining experience. Not going there again

Nice. This outlet has turned 24hr. Convenient but don’t expect too much from the food. I got an egg benedict. Obviously microwaved.

Friendly staffs and good service the many times I have been here. The environment is pleasant when there is less crowd. The air con near the door can be quite cold (try to get seated more inside if you get cold quite easily). Also remember to bring your own tumbler to get $1 discount of your drinks.

The atmosphere at the outlet at Rail Mall was really great and the drinks and food served were fresh and presented well. Nadia's service especially was timely as she served complimentary cups of warm water during the rainy period and the outlet was cold. Her attentiveness to customer's needs makes the experience there a warm one :)

Great customer service at the coffee beans and tea leaves Rail Mall. I must highlight that Nadia made my patronage there warm and comfortable. I really appreciate her hospitality and warmth. She was excellent, bright and cheerful and would make sure my orders came to my table hot. The staff prepared my pasta well, it was delicious with very nice warm camomile tea that made me relaxed instantly. I was also served hot water by the staff to add to my tea, so constantly, my tea was warm and soothing. Nice cool place to chill and yes! I would definitely come again.😋🙂👍

Everything is nice here. I love to hang out with my wife at night with a cup of capacino latte and cheese-cake. However, I hate some dinner who are so selfish to leave their drinks on 4 seater tables for hours. Just like yesterday night, depriving other diners; seats for more than an hours (the time we came and left). Hope there are sign stating "seat will be cleared if un-attended for more than 15 mins". Or limit to and hour of patron during certain hours. Management, please look into this or I start patronising 'STARBUCK'. Sick of waiting for something like this.

It is always and pleasant to sit here for your afternoon coffee break. The ambient is nice. The aircon is quite cold 🤣. If you want to stay for long, advice to bring along your cardigan. Cheers

Open 24hrs for drinks and dessert at a nice corner of Rail Mall. Had wonderful breakfast today and free coffee refills! Will be back for more.

Nice outlet at rail mall thats 24/7 open. It is always stocked with all the food items! Their cake variety also changes almost every month and customer service is also great. If you’re near hillview and looking for coffee, you can drop by here anytime!

Ordered the Cold brew oat milk vanilla latte and it taste like purely coffee. Taste differently from what i ordered before at the other outlet. No standard

Ordered avocado pomegranate toast as breakfast. I’m not sure why garlic taste in the avocado jam. I don’t fansy of it personally

The avogado is little and spread very thin. Not same as from other outlet. Usually does not offer automatically pepper salt. The business not so busy so why they did not bother to ask
