The doctor I’ve consulted was knowledgeable and friendly, that’s the only good thing about this clinic. However, the administration is horrendous and needs serious improvement. The last time I visited the clinic, a staff was in front of me entering the clinic before me. She looked back at me and didn’t say anything before shutting the door. The ‘close’ sign was there, so I had to press the doorbell. Another lady came out to told me that the clinic is so full that they have to close registration 1 hour before closing time. I understood the situation and left, but it would’ve been nice if that staff who entered before me, turned back to enquire and tell me the same instead of having this nonchalant attitude and shut the door in my face. The website states that registration closes 30 min before closing, so it really would’ve been nice to have some sort of notice on your website. I did not think too much about that prior experience until I visited again today. I was turned away because there was no doctor on duty for GP consultation. Note that I visited the clinic website to check before coming. There was no mentioning of calls/appointments being required, as I understand that most GPs are walk-in friendly. There was no mentioning of doctors being not on duty today as well. Basically, no useful notice is posted on your website until we’ve arrived at the clinic and it’s too late. If we need to call before coming in to check every single time, then it’s probably best to also indicate this on the website.

Excellent clinic. Kind staff. Not crowded. Close to MRT. You can do things a lot faster than most of the other clinics.

I had my LTVP medical checkup done here at 9:00. There were only 2 other patients when I arrived. The process was seamless from booking the appointment, pre-registering, registration, and the checkup itself. 1. Booking appointment: done through their website which took less than 5 mins. to accomplish. I received an email immediately where I also found a link to pre-register. 2. Location: convenient from the sixth ave stn and the bus stop opp sixth ave stn. 3. Service: I appreciate their patience in explaining the procedure step by step and what to expect next. Everyone was accommodating especially when we were having trouble drawing blood from my arm (it’s a usual struggle for me anywhere i go). They made sure not to insert the needle unnecessarily. When they really couldn’t find the vein, they referred me to one of the doctors. 4. Cost: the LTVP medical checkup (chest xray and HIV test) is $54 (8% GST included). The whole checkup took less than an hour to finish.

Fast registration n did not have to wait long to be called in. The admin personnel at reception were helpful and put on smile when attended to me. I did my LPA certification at the clinic.It was a quick process. I am grateful that Dr Yap explaination was very clear and with examples of scenario where LPA will be applied. Thank you for making my visit a pleasant experience.

I want to say thank you so much this clinic today I do medical they are very good and friendly,,everytime I do medical how many nidle change becoz they cannot find my veins😁 but now wow one once and very fast I dnt fell pain good job 💪🥰🥰

Whatsapp helpdesk says it's not busy and we can walk in. There's only 1 Locum Doctor and probably 20-30 people waiting around. Be prepared to wait 1.5-2 hours for your turn and excluding the waiting time to get your prescription medication. They should manage expectations, have a sign to state estimated waiting times, number of patients ahead of you. Queue numbers do not go in sequence so patients cannot guess how long the wait is.

Got my work permit medical test done over here, was done with it within 30 mins. Friendly staffs and they took my blood sample without any pain. Seems to be very experienced.

Clinic was buzzing, but all the staff seemed to have mastered the balancing act of Efficiency v. Bedside manner! I’d also like to apologise for forgetting to collect my medicine and delaying their knock off timing! I too know how uh.. chafing.. Saturday workdays are :x Lastly, Dr. Brendan Yap - a doctor who is serious about upholding the duty of care that is owed to all patients as a medical practitioner. Dispenses practical and cogent advice, never dismissive. Three thumbs up. An abnormally smooth and pleasant experience, compared to other clinics.

I had an amazing experience of a check up for ICA with Advantage Medical clinic at Guthrie House (Bukit Timah). The whole team was efficient and professional yet very considerate, respectful and gentle. Initially I sent a request to their WhatsApp and received a reply very swiftly and with all the necessary info. It was possible to book an appointment and slots were available soon enough so I didn’t need to wait long. There’s pre-registration available online so I could fill my details before the appointment which saved time. The whole visit with a blood test and an X-ray took me less than half an hour. The prices are very competitive and affordable. The check up I went for cost 2/3 of the rate I had been quoted by the clinic next to my house. I’m usually a bit shy to ask for names so I can’t name particular staff attending to me but the whole team working morning shift on 21 December 2023 from the ladies at the reception to the gentleman who did the blood test and the lady-radiographer were perfect in the way they relate to patients. Everything was done fast and painless without needing to rush the process. Thank you team for this experience! Pleasantly surprised at the comprehensive medical facilities offered! it is like a mini polyclinic? Place is clean n the waiting room neatly n nicely set up. Staff seems very switched on n professional in the way they handled themselves. Am glad to know your clinic through SG medical hub! only minutes from our home!

Good first time experience here at Guthrie House. Like the fact that the service is fast. From the young friendly gentleman at the reception, the young smiley nursing assistant during the check-up, to seeing the doctor, Brendan. Awesome group of medical team here.

Had an appointment for ultrasound confirmed. When I turned up I was told the sonographer was on leave. In showing them that my appointment was confirmed by them 2 weeks earlier, their excuse was that was the automated system. Wasted my time, wasted my effort fasting, wasted $ on parking. I would go for normal GP medical reviews but anything more feels like its at my own risk as their appointment system really does not work
