We booked at Kanela at the very last min. when we were desperate to find a place to dine when most restaurants were fully booked or didn't answer our calls, and oh boy what a great decision we did. This is a family-owned restaurant where the whole family (even with the still not fully experienced young Son) serve the customers. The place is beautiful and modern, while every single dish tasted superb. They also have some games to keep the kids (and us adults) busy when not eating or chatting. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in Bulgaria, and we look forward to coming back to Kanela every time we visit Burgas province.

I just want to say this is one of the best high-end restaurants I've ever been to! Food from salads and starters to main dishes and desserts was absolutely astonishing! Service was gentle, calm and on point. Atmosphere is chill and perfect for a night out, whether with friends or loved one. Recommend this place in Nessebar above all else!!

We had a lovely and peaceful lunch there. Food is fresh and made upon order which resulted for a wonderful meal. Maybe it's becuase it wasn't very busy at all but the food was cooked pretty fast too. The risotto with shrimp was very good, my pepper steak a bit too peppery for my taste but still very well cooked. Only disappointment about the meal was the fact it didn't say on the menu that the steak comes with a cooked potato with bacon, which would've been nice to know since I ordered additional potatoes as a garnish and the restaurant is on the pricier end.

Had a fantastic, bespoke experience at Kanela and I highly recommend coming here if you are in the Sunny Beach/Nassebar area. I booked a table for 2 for my girlfriend's birthday and the Kanela team did everything they could to make it special. As she is vegan, I was struggling to find a restaurant in Nassebar that could cater for her, but when I contacted Kanela to let them know they asked me questions about her favourite dishes and put together a whole menu just for her. Standouts were the peach salad and the baked aubergine stuffed with grilled veg, and they finished the meal with vegan brownies they had made themselves and a fruit platter. I had the homemade salad for starters which was incredible, and then the steak. The restaurant itself is quite tucked away, away from the main tourist strip, but it's worth finding it. We sat outside amongst the chilled cats owned by the restaurant, but the inside of the restaurant looked really cosy and comfortable. Definitely come here if you are looking for great food and friendly people.
