My recent dining experience at Emona was absolutely delightful! My party of four tried a variety of dishes and drinks, and we were blown away by the quality and taste of everything we had. The owner of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, taking the time to chat with us. It was clear that he had a true passion for wine and wanted to share his knowledge with his guests. Our waiter, Itso, was also fantastic. He was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, making sure that we had everything we needed. And the food! I cannot rave enough about how delicious everything was. Each dish was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. There wasn't a single item on the menu that didn't impress us. Overall, I would highly recommend Emona to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. A very nice location, especially if you visit the old town of Nesebar. The sea view is very nice, as well as the location itself. It is quite intimate and comfy. You have plenty of dishes to choose from, mostly fish but you have some other, non-fish dishes to choose from, for example pasta or salads. The food is delicious, and the serving is done very quickly. The staff was very nice, always open and smiley. I recommend the restaurant with my heart.

I was visiting Nessebar with two of the fussiest women you could imagine. Seriously, we did two laps of the town in 35°C heat (approx 200°F for any Americans reading this), reading each and every menu, quizzing every host, comparing prices Vs. Quality, considering the view from the table, including angles to the sun, breeze, and shade etc etc. By this stage I was starving and sundried. I would've eaten out of a tramp's shoe by this point. After all of that, they chose Emona. So I know that this place is the best place in Nessebar to eat. As much as I hate an "I told you so" from the women, they were right (on this occasion). I chose the fish, a local bluefish. This fish was so fresh it was caught less than an hour ago, the host even bought it to the table and it looked like I could've throw it over the balcony back into the sea and it would've regained consciousness and swam away to have a long and happy life. Instead the fish was simply gutted, grilled to perfection on flames, and placed in front of me with a wedge of lemon. Perfectly simple. When a dish is this simple, there is nowhere for the Chef to hide. He cannot cover any mishaps in sauce, or hide behind spice, his work is there for your eyes & each and every one of your taste buds to testify against him; so I don't say this lightly... This was the single best fish I've ever eaten. I'm hosting other friends & relatives visiting Bulgaria, and every one that visits Nessebar will be coming to Emona. It's worth dodging all of the other hosts luring you in to their restaurants to make your way to Emona. I promise.

Wonderful spot for a view of the sea with some nice food, especially for lunch. I'm a foreign tourist and the staff were nothing but friendly to me and even helped us to retrieve something we forgot at our table when we left. Good choice of music in the background as well.

We sit with my boyfriend and we order pizzas (i forgot the names, sorry), but the food is really good. We are really impressed, the pizzas are baked (from our opinion) on furnace and it’s delicious. The waiter that served to us was very nice and kind, the food came fast and the cheese….. just chef kiss. The atmosphere is really good, it has to much costumers and it’s normal because it’s really good. It has sea view and we can watch the moon, it’s so romantic and we like it a lot. The calamari were extremely undercooked (the worst we ate in Nessebar, even random small bars had better calamari). The chicken was tasteless. Excellent food, quick service. It was a bit overcrowded which is normal but was too noisy for me. The food was very good but the running around like crazy waitresses who couldn't even smile and talk to you, combined with the waiting line of people outside was giving the impression of a fast food.
