Hector, Margaux and Kayla all provided excellent service today at IHOP in Arden. NC. I have been coming here for years and have almost always had good food and good service but today was 10 out of 10. The best food I have had. I hope the owners realize what a great staff they have in these three. I have been in HR for over 40 years. Hector will be a shinning star as a manager. You notice these as they come naturally. Thanks to all three of them (and to the cook)💕💕💕💕

We couldn't make it to Cracker Barrel as the wait was over 40 minutes but we were very glad that we stopped here at IHOP the wait was about 10 minutes for a Saturday morning and our waiter provided us with excellent service. Actually everybody was very friendly there. They all help bring out the orders as well. They now have gluten free waffles/pancakes which is nice for those with gluten sensitivity. They were light and fluffy like cake. Breakfast sampler arrived within five minutes so everything was hot. Orange juice was fresh. Busboys thoroughly wiped everything down including the salt and pepper shakers. Enjoyed my last breakfast in Asheville.

Disgusting. Served me cold, old food. Broccoli had moldy spots on it and tilapia was cold, very greasy and smelled VERY fishy, which means it’s also old. Lemon was slimy and rotten. Don’t trust it to not give me food poisoning. This was a to-go order I got on my lunch break. The only thing edible was the mashed potatoes, called to get a refund and was told there was no way they could do that unless I returned the food. I can’t leave work again and drive it back! I leave this job and go straight to my next one, I have no time to take it back. Very disappointed and will not be back! Don’t trust them. Ewwww

So allow me to tell you WHY I give this place 5 stars. This waitress named Kelly...... she is the best person, employee, and investment this IHOP could have made. She is the reason why my daughter, wife, and myself come back here. She practically runs the entire place alone. Literally doing every chore except cooking your order. The most incredible point is that she do it with a smile on her face ALWAYS. 😊 Seriously, if you ever visit this IHOP, take care of her. I promise she will do the same. Management should Seriously look into promoting her to Management. She is that special IHOP!

Stopped after work and the food was not good at all smaller portion then expected and asked for a little more Manger did not want to give but charge for a little more was not happy to even speak with me about it. Will not be back take out or dine in. Period

Had dinner and tried one of the new omelets. Was very good, hot, well prepared. Wife had pancakes and 2 over medium cooked perfect. Waitress was super courteous. 8/21/2023 about 6pm

I met my cousin I had not seen in 18 years, and we had breakfast. The staff and everyone there was very sweet because her and I got rowdy for breakfast in IHOP . Just happy see each other. So I really enjoy a place that will still allow you to have fun in public and not call you down long as we still respect everyone else to. Thank you

I hadn't been to this IHop near me in a few years. But in the past I could count on great food served by good waitstaff. I don't know what's happened, but I returned today and it was not good. I had a gravy biscuit and hash browns. The biscuit tasted pretty bad, like stale or old grease, and was too salty. The hash browns were too salty as well. The menu has changed a lot, seems they're trying to move away from standard breakfast fare. I don't think I'll go back, there are too many other, better options in the area.

We came got sat very quickly , waited for about 10-15 minutes for a server , she was nice got our order put in in it took another 20 minutes for her to come back out with drinks and an hour for food on a table of 3 . Both steaks were ordered medium rare both were well done cheese wasn’t melted on hashbrowns all and all it wasn’t worth the 82 dollar breakfast bill service was slow and poor food was undercooked or over cooked

I can't tell you how the service was because we were never served! The waitresses saw us but kept refilling drinks, wiping tables, etc. Finally got up and left because we were very hungry. Also waited to be seated because no one was there, but not the length of time we waited to give our order that we never got to give. Good food if we could have had some!

The food here is pretty good but whether you're dining in or picking up carry out they are so short staffed constantly that you always have to wait forever even to be recognized by the hostess stand which usually has no one at it for several minutes after you walk in. Most of the servers and hostess are very nice some of them seem to hate their job but for the most part they are very friendly. There is a lady who I believe is the manager who just walks around looking like she's angry all the time. I would suggest getting your food to go.

My wife and I stopped here coming back from Maggie Valley; it was still early so we had breakfast. My wife had the blueberry crepe and I had the Colorado omelet. Both were good. Probably a little better than the IHOP we usually go to. Didn't take long to get the meal to the table either. Enjoyed it all.

This place had been bad for a while immediately following the COVID shutdown but in the last year or so it has really gotten better. Our visit tonight was the best as there weren't very many people. Our server did a great job and the food was perfect. Hopefully the trend upwards continues.

I will never eat here again. We ordered door dash from here, we ordered a waffle and a pancake and they didn't give us any syrup or butter. We got tres leches pancakes and they only came with tres leches sauce, no vanilla drizze, no syrup or butter, looked absolutely nothing like the picture, the pancakes were so dry they were inedible and went in the trash, doordash refused to refund us. So if no refund is provided I will probably never eat at ihop again, they have been going down hill for years and this is just another example of how careless they are, they won't even stand by the quality or their food
